Hotel Montemezzi - Vigasio, Verona

Do not stay here. We were a family of 3 adult couples and right from the start we felt invisible. Obviously a conference hotel not interested in people. The air con doesn't work in the rooms but freezing in public areas. They tried to tell us air con was working in our room on arrival but No air was coming out, hot or cold. When we asked to change rooms after waiting an hour for them to fiddle with the knob, we were virtually told 'no', the sun will go down in an hour or so and then the room will be cool!!! Can you believe that??? Finally got another room [much smaller] with the hint of air-con, but only after I was rudely asked if I had used the bathroom or any other facility in the first room....with the implication that if I had, they would not change our room no matter what. That was only the beginning of a nightmare stay at the hotel. We ate there the first night and the food was still frozen in the middle..sent it back 3 times, still frozen so we went into the kitchen and found no chef and no cook, only a microwave. Did not eat there again. Tried to charge us for shuttle into Verona even though clearly states free on Venere. When we showed them the booking form to indicate this, their reply was they can't be expected to know. I could go on but this should be enough. Do not stay here.

Un hotel situado a 15 km. de Verona, perfecto si se lleva coche para poder acercarse a la ciudad. Existen servicios de autobuses desde el hotel a la ciudad y viceversa, aunque el ultimo regresa muy pronto (creo recordar las 19 horas). Buena ubicación para continuar ruta hacia el sur de Verona.

This hotel should be rated 3 stars. The rooms are okay, but there comes noise from the corridor, the quality of the breakfast is even less than 3 stars (service also bad) and the English of the welcoming staff is rather bad. The shuttle bus to Verona does not function at night.

Abbiamo scelto l'hotel per il prezzo, visto che non vi erano altri hotel disponibili allo stesso prezzo più vicini a Verona. E' nuovo, pulito e ben organizzato. La colazione è varia, abbondante e per ogni gusto: c'è un servizio gentile e discreto in sala. L'unica cosa da tenere in considerazione è che la navetta da/per l'aeroporto - stazione treni - centro è soltanto alle 8.30, 11.00 al mattino e alle 16.30, 19.00 al pomeriggio. I trasporti urbani hanno solo due corse giornaliere e l'unica alternativa è il taxi ( 30 euro da e per l'aeroporto). Consigliamo l'hotel per i sevizi offerti ed eventualmente per la vicinanza con la fiera. We chosen the Hotel because we didn' find anything else near Verona at that price. It's new, clean and well organized, breakfast was really enjoyable since any taste could be fulfilled. The only thing you have to take under consideration is that the shuttle service from and/or to the airport,railway station and the centre is only at 8.30, 11,00 in the morning and 16,30 19,00 in the afternoon. As there are not public transports, you might use taxi. (30 euro from/to the airport). it's a very good hotel, I can recommend it to you.
