About Hotel Vela Velo Club

exterior Hotel Vela Velo Club exterior The little and lovely Vela Velo Hotel lies surrounded by nature at the edge of the centre of the city of Vieste. Close to S. Lorenzo beach, the Vela Velo Club was born in 1985 as a sport and ecological association with windsurfing school and cycle touring events. Previously known as the Soldano family private villa, it has now been completely restored. It’s extensive 17 rooms are provided with bathroom, refrigerator, satellite television and some of the rooms are also provided with air conditioning. The family management creates an informal and serene ambient attended by both spqrty people and tourists of any age.

Buon hotel di fascia media; camera pulita e ordinata, non molto spaziosa ma comunque accettabile. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Da migliorare il buffet della colazione, ogni giorno mancava qualcosa, una volta la frutta, un'alttra il pane, etc.

The room was noisy and had ants crawling all over the window sill, bed and my suitcase. For 5 euro more per night you can stay at a nearby hotel with air conditioning, spacious lobby, off the highway (quiet)and no insects! Also the beach is provided with umbrellas and chairs.

The Hotel was very clean and well presented, it was difficult to judge at the end of the season, but the staff were very helpful in all matters. I gather that it is due to change managership and hope that this does not detract from the excellent way it is run at present.

Generally Satisfactory only except that Supply of Warm Water into Basin and Shower is very limitted. We couldn't use the bath tab and were forced to enjoy the very cold shower.
