Pension Arpi - Vienna

Unfortunately no Parking Area

Pension Arpi was absolutely perfect for what I needed - which was, a roof over my head, a private room with a shower and a TV for just a couple of nights. The room was pretty cramped, but the bed was comfortable, there was fair closet space and the bathroom was clean and fine for just me on my own. The staff were also very helpful and friendly. My only displeasure wasn't so much with the hotel, but with the roadworks going on outside it.I don't know how long they'll be there for, but when I was there the drilling and scraping went on until just past midnight.Not great if you have to get up early. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this Pension for people looking for good cheap, comfortable, friendly accomodation in central Vienna.

L'albergo è posizionato in una zona molto tranquilla a un quarto d'ora circa dalla zona centrale, avevamo a portata di mano (di piedi) quasi tutti i monumenti e i palazzi più importanti di Vienna. Il personale è gentilissimo e molto amichevole unico neo la camera un pò piccola ma se si organizzano bene gli spazi non è un problema nemmeno quello, se capitate a Vienna andate al PENSION ARPI e salutatemi i ragazzi della reception!

Maybe because it was a 3 star pension and not a 3 star hotel, the clean of the room was very bad, a lot of dust in the room, the bed was very small like the bathroom, in the bathroom there was a trash odor. The breakfast was poor.

Really helpful and friendly staff. Located conviniently close to the University campus.

This was our second visit in three months. We like this hotel..very friendly and we were impressed by our welcome like long lost friends when we returned. The owner, his wife and two sons were more than helpful in every way. Breakfast was excellent. The room this visit was a little larger than the first stay but the very small shower cubicle still required dextrous skills to wash all areas without turning the tap off when moving around. A little hard to locate but well worth the effort when you do. Could find no faults worth mentioning and would be happy to return. A most enjoyable experience.

A little noisy and very very small especially the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We are returning for another stay in December

Excellent little hotel. Spotlessly clean. Within walking distance to the city centre (10 mins) and easy to reach from Westbahnhof (take the tram not the U-Bahn). Staff were very friendly and helpful and I doubt you will find anywhere else that offers such good value in Vienna.

Pension Arpi is location in a section of a building that is also lived in by private tenants. It just so happened that our room was closest to the stairway, and a woman living on the other side had to have had an enormous amount of cats. My allergies--along with my husbands--were terrible. The location of Pension Arpi, however, we loved. It is a nice walk to get into the city--not good for those who have trouble walking or don't like public transportation. But we enjoyed the restaurants nearby, the plethora of bakeries, the proximity to the parks, and also the availability of internet cafes because of its closeness to the university. If you are like me and my husband, then you won't have a big problem with the small rooms at Pension Arpi because you'll be out enjoying Vienna all day long! If you are someone that hangs out in their room--do NOT stay here.

I had very good time at this place. I was bit lost when i arrived and the girl at reception gave me all informations i needed to come there ;) Then the room were quiet, clean, in a good area. The breakfast is very complete : tea, coffee, ham, cheese, cereals... People were friendly and prices not too expensive ;) I think i'll come back there again.

Friendly service, good value for money and great, central location.

The room was dark, which made it very difficult to read in the evenings.There was a reading lamp only on one side of the bed. More light was promised but it never materialized. The room was also very small.When booking on the web page there should be a possibility to ask for two separate beds. On arrival my passport was kept in pawn for the keys, which reminded me of travelling in the former East Block. The passport was given back to me the next day when I had paid for the stay.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location - well within walking distance to the main part of Vienna. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast suppled was basic but sufficient. Good place for a solo female traveller
