Hotel Pension Andreas - Vienna

Neighborhood kind of dark and lonely at night. Didn't answer the door when we arrived. Pizza guy got in; we followed him. Employee was at reception desk; why didn't he answer the door? Otherwise, good location, rooms nice, service fine thereafter. Food great.

this is a simple and well-run pension in a very convenient area, easy stroll to the Innere Stadt and close to tram and U Bahn stations. One complaint - the breakfast selection was poor, the juice, and especially the coffee, terrible. Too bad, especially in city renowned for its coffee, and easy to remedy if they wanted.

Pension was in good location, a number of small bars and restaurants a few minutes walk away and easy to get to the ringstrasse for trams and the underground. We were there for 2 nights and it was quiet at night while we were there. Some of the rooms are very small. The pictures on the website are accurate but they make the rooms look bigger and nicer than they really are. It is non smoking but clearly used to be smoking since there is a notable smell in some of the rooms that was apparent when you first entered the room but after a while you did not notice. The breakfast was uninspiring but practical. The nicest part of the stay was walking into the entrance downstairs for the first time, a lovely arcade that they used to use for the horse and carriages to unload under cover.

Bathroom was quite small; breakfast selection was okay, no variations. For a duration of 3 days, acceptable and satisfactory all in all.

The beds and the location were excellent! Very good hotel.

Coffee was a little weak and could have been stronger however the breakfast was as expected and good

The accommodation was all we wanted it to be - walking distance to the centre of Vienna, 100m to the subway station, clean room & bathroom, good breakfast in a nice breakfast room at an afordable price. Strong recommendation, specially to the visitors with children.

Very pretty clean warm family hotel ! Staff was very friendly and nice. I stayed for 6 days room was small but clean. Breakfast was continental.

Continental breakfast was adequate but uninspired

Got a double room for a single room price but still too expensive. Pension is tucked away in a corner that you have to find. Not many cheap places to eat around there. Staff was just only friendly

Good hotelvery close to the city center. Very nice and warm atmosphere.Excellent value in the budget class.

I stayed here for 4 days. The hotel is located on the third floor of a big 19e(?) century building. The dining room and thus the resulting noise is close to some rooms. The size of my room was not very spacious. Breakfast, except the coffee, is oke. A Metro station (Rathaus)is just 2 streets away . A short walk through the Rathaus garden will take you to the Hofburg Quater

The overall impression is nice but there are some comment on the entrance of the pension as it is a little pit fair and the pension is occupying just the second floor of a big palace.The other thing is that the room which i was given is a little bit narrow and the bed was not that comfortable..I don't know if the other rooms are exactly as shown in the internet.

I HAVE BEEN TO VIENNA FOR 4 DAYS. I THINK PENSION HOTEL ANDREAS CATERS TO YOUNG CLIENTELE.

It was the first time I stayed at this hotel and I will choose it in future and advertise it to others.

It was impossible to sleep during the night because of drops continuosly fell over somethin metalic outside the window... In the breakfast room there wasn't enough space for all the people present in the hotel...
