Hotel K+K Maria Theresia - Vienna

We had been very pleased with our stay at the K+K in Budapest several years ago, so we thought we'd give this hotel in Vienna a try. We were more than pleased. The only drawback that some might find is that the hotel is located on a small side street that can be a bit difficult to find. However, that is also an advantage because the neighborhood and the hotel are very quiet - no tour buses or mobs as can be typical in Vienna. The breakfast was outstanding, as good as any we have experienced in any hotel anywhere. Our room was spacious, modern and clean. Reception was friendly and helpful. All in all, a top choice.

The location is execellent. It is very close to tram stop and easy to go to famous site(located just backyard of museum quarter).Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice.

Overall small nice Hotel but definitely not value for money. Much better Hotels available for the price that they charged. Buffet Breakfast was good!

Great breakfasts at the hotel. Staff generally very p;leasant and helpful. We had just a "bar snack" evening we arived which was very good (esp Goulash). Location is great- quite quiet but close to many good bars and restaurants and easy access into the Hofburg and centre of Vienna.

Ein feines Hotel in U-Bahn - Nähe in einer ruhigen Gegend des 7. Bezirks. Ideal für Kunstinteressierte. Das Museumsquartier ist gleich ums Eck und auch das Kunsthistorische und das Naturhistorische Museum sind zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen. Gute Betten, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, problemloser Internetzugang

We booked the K&K on the basis of other reviews and were not disappointed. We arrived at 12pm, 2hrs earlier than the advertised check-in however the welcome of the staff was friendly and the room was available anyway. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom nice. We had booked a double/twin and got a twin, so perhaps if you are insistent on a twin bed it may be worth mentioning when booking. Inside the public areas the hotel was clean and modern. The bar area served very reasonably priced drinks, and was relaxing and comfortable. The hotel also offers free internet access and printing - perfect for doing "online check in" and printing the boarding passes for the flight home. And, the breakfast was FANTASTIC. There was a huge range of food. Several cereals, fresh museli (and dried), lots of dried fruit and yoghurt, fruit juices, fresh meat/cheese, different types of bread. And, importantly for us Brits, sausages/bacon/baked beans etc etc All in all a pleasant place to stay in Vienna. The location was also excellent, being only 10mins stroll from the Hofburg Palace, the Rathaus, the Parliament and the Natural History Museum.

Best hotel breakfast I've had in years. It will be very hard to beat!

Excellent breakfast.

This was my first time in Vienna. I stayed in a single room with a double (I think) bed. The bathroom was very clean and new and I like the glass door to the shower that swings out. There was no iron in the room, but they brought one when requested. The breakfast was huge and tasty. There was always tea and coffee in the business center with free internet. Very helpful. The staff speaks English well and could tell me how to get around. Very nice place to stay, quiet, and convenient to the Ring and the Volksgarten (the rose garden).

The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing; most places were within walking distance. I parked my car in the garage all week and it was secure. The cost to use the garage was reasonable compared to other hotels I checked. The room was clean and very spacious. The elevator was right next door to our room and we could hear it occasionally, but not enough to cause a problem. The toilet was separate from the bathroom which was convenient. The breakfast was very good and offered a wide variety of items. The servers were courteous. I would stay there again and would recommend it to others.
