Hotel Imlauer Vienna - Vienna

Our time (3 nights ) were spent sightseeing and attending concerts so our time at Imlaur was really only for sleeping. A question, why do you have both Hotel signs on the opposite side of street to where Hotel is actually located ?? taxi drivers are confused and so are your clients.

Cosy and comfortable rooms. The hotel seems new or renewed with modern and nice style. The small lobby , slightly tight ,doesn't match the excellent standard of the hotel. The staff is very competent and helpfull for nearly everything - from taxi reservation, bus tickets, concerts or shows booking to assistance for transportation reclamation. Breakast is expansive but excellent .Hotel location is convenient even though the hotel district not very attractive.

I like the hotel and will definitely recommend it to my friends and relatives. The hotel surroundings are not extremely attractive, but it is very close to the center and in 10-15 min of walking you can get to the very wonderful areas of the Vienna. It is very comfortable and I'd like to stay there in my next visit to Vienna.

Staff friendly and helpful. Public Public transport close, convenient and fast.Rooms are modern and well furnished. Breakfast too expensive

Rooms are very comfortable. Found an attractive prepay only offer at this hotel on short notice. The rooms were spacious, clean and definately met the expectations of a 4 star hotel. The location is convenient being 200m away from a metro stop (which was only 2 stops away from Stephansdom). Hotel parking is at a nearby garage (2 mins walk), and costs an additional 13 euros per night.

The rooms were incredibly large and clean and came up perfectly to our expectations. While checking out of the hotel the receptionist wanted to invoice a drink from the minibar that we did not had and that was even not available in it.

Our room was very beautiful, stylish and clean. Only the shower needs a curtain, the bathroomfloor was full of water after a shower. We asked for more towels, it did the job, but..! Breakfast for 15€ was a rip off!

Upon check in asked if we wanted to upgrade to deluxe twin room for my mother and I. We said no, the basic was fine. Went to room and found a double bed. Went back down to front desk and told them it was a double bed, he said but it has a terrace. I said we need twin bed. New room miraculously appeared to be a deluxe with the coffee service, etc he was trying to upgrade us to when we first got there. Obviously all basic twin booked and he knew he would have to move us.

Some of the employees are really incompetent and unkind with guests.
