Hotel Hoffinger - Vienna

Brakfast was not good. Every day that same the most cheapest cheese,sausage and bread. Coffee awfull. Thirty, spider´s web in diningroom as well as in other rooms, like lodge. Water taps are dropping and are very old-fashioned. Air conditioners are covered in dirt, so you can image how it smells. Carpet overall and not cleaned.

It is an excellent place for rest, birds singing, quiet at night, excellent service, rich breakfast, very easy to get to the centre. You feel welcome and all questions are answered. The staff is amazing!!! I would recommend it. I come here 2nd time in 1 year.

In general, excellent. However a couple of small comments: Our room was not serviced either weekend day (although that of our companion was) but the receptionist was able to provide fresh towels etc, so no real harm done. There were a few tiny ants in the bathroom but not enough to cause us concern. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, providing us with glasses and jugs of water to drink our own wine in the reception area and plates and cutlery for us to eat food we had bought at the local supermarket in the evening (at a table in the courtyard)

Hotel offers a good price and quality relationship. You can reach the closest metro in 8-10 minutes on foot, and 20-30 minutes to downtown by metro which is good enough to make a touristic visit of the city.

Very good breakfast

We were requested a baby cot and this was confirmed via mail and when we arrived it appears that at the hotel did not have such at all and they provided a separate bad which was very disappointed!!! Also the room told ti be a Business type but it was different from the pix on the site!

Nice surroundings, quite close to the center (3 minutes by car), nice service

Camere spaziose ma un po' datate e senza aria condizionata e con finestra che non resta aperta, parcheggio piccolissimo. Colazione a buffet soddisfacente Abbastanza vicino alla fermata della metropolitana

La struttura è un pò vecchiotta, ma ci siamo trovati bene.La metro dista circa 500 m quindi abbastanza comoda.Colazione buona.

Quiet and competent property. A bit far from the city but close enough to the Metro for this not to matter much. Warm, friendly, helpful staff. What more does one need?

We arrived late due to a train derailment, at 2300pm. Had a hard time finding the address, even with help from locals,and nobody answered the telephone when we tried calling for directions, and in fact the taxi driver initially took us to a hotel on Hoffinger Strasse (street) instead of the Hoffinger hotel. Upon check-in, had to ring the bell and a non-speaking lady signed us in, finally . Indication as to location was a bit misleading and further from the train station than we expected. The pictures on the web page appeared roomier in bedroom and lobby than actual. The day employee was very friendly and helpful. The 2nd night we stayed there we asked for a wake-up call at 6am and were not called until our taxi actually arrived and we had to really rush so that he would wait for us as we had an early train out. There was free internet, which was nice, and also the breakfast buffet was good, but a little misrepresented on the whole i think

We were a group of 6 persons. Hotel rooms are nice. We found very good a breakfast buffet (included in price). The hotel has its own parking place, in the court-yard, so we felt our car was safe. The subway station is very near. There is also a big supermarket just few steps away. All in all, very good location.

The hotel is a long way out of the city 20-30 minutes by train and a ten minute walk from the railway station. If you are travelling by car i suppose this is not such a problem but we certainly found it a little challenging with our luggage and young child. The hotel is lcated in a very quiet and pleasant suburban street Despite the difficulties in getting to it, the hotel itself is of a very good standard. The breakfast was very good,however finding a good place to eat at night in the area proved a little more difficult.

Great room, great people, great location, outstanding breakfast and a must see city (Vienna).

Except for the surly faced person at the reception, there was absolutely no reason to complain. Strongly recommend for tourists looking for a clean Bread-n-breakfast.

Very friendly employees, good breakfast. we stayed only for one night, so we cannot say much.

Perfect location for people arriving from southern motorway, and wishing to leave the car parked at the hotel (metro station to center Wien 10 mins. walking from hotel)
