Considering this was a 3 stars hotel, the relationship between price and quality was good, in fact the hotel was elegant, spacious and the staff kind and welcoming. We paied a room with breackfast included wich was good and consisted in a self service buffet with milk, cofee, chocolate or tea, brioche, jem, juices, yougurt annd also bread, ham, chees, wustel, eggs and backon. The only thing we must say is that Ottakringer Street is very long and I wouldnt suggest to consider the underground station "Ottakring" the closest one to go to the center of Wien (about 15 minutes by walking to reach the station). Event if there's need to chage line, the statios Alser or Joseph are musch closer (5 minutes by walking). ...In any case, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to reache the center and this could be a problem for a tourist who wants to go back to the hotel more than once a day

Since we have relatives in Vienna, we travel a lot to this great city. Allthough we'd stayed in this hotel before and were quite satisfied, this time our stay was not so pleasant: we were accommodated in a very small doubleroom (approx. 21 sqm)with a small doublebed (queensize 140 cm) and a tiny bathroom in which one could hardly move. The staff was friendly, but had difficulty with german language (they were merely spanish origin). Obviously, the hotel that formerly belonged to Eurostars has been taken over by Exe. This take-over is somehow not completed or still on-going, which has a strong effect on the service: only few staff, smaller breakfast-buffet, bar closed, minibar sorted badly (for example no wine available, only one can of beer). Hopefully, this will change soon or else, we will have to choose another hotel.

The room was rather small, the pillow was much too small. There was no window shades, only light curtain. The safe was closed withot possibility to open, because of no combination to open it.

A very nice stay. The room was cleaned everyday. The bed was very comfortable and as the windows were double glazed, there was not much noise from the street (although our room was facing the main street).Access to the public transport was extremely easy but the hotel was a bit far from the city center (about 20 mins). It was a bit difficult to find good breasfast in the neighbourhood as we are 'breakfast lovers' because the price of the breakfast at the hotel was 15 euros. We would stay again but making sure that breakfast is included in the room price.

I guess you could find nicer locations to stay in Vienna, but the hotel itself is excellent, rooms very cozy, large bathroom, quiet, easy access to metro and tram, only 10mins from city center. You definitely get your money's worth and more.

My wife and I spent 7 weeks travelling through Europe and this was the best quality and value hotel we stayed at during our trip. The cooked breakfast was included in the price and was fantastic. With a tram stop to the centre of Vienna at the front door, we could not have asked for a better place to stay in one of the loveliest cities in Europe. The free internet was also appreciated.

It was our second stay at the Eurostars in Vienna. Unfortunately, this time we had to change our room two times: first because the bathroom smelled awful and because the bed was too small, second because the room was freezing - our visit was in January and the hotel has no central heating in the rooms; all the rooms are heated through the air conditioning system. Staff was quite helpful except for the two girls that checked us in, who barely spoke any English and seemed more bored than willing to make an effort and greet you at the hotel. Overall, it was a good stay. Good value for price paid. But i would think again before going there the third time.

The hotel was probably good compared to others, but the neighborhood was a little shady. The staff were professional, but not helpful. It was very nice that there was not carpet in the room. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was fantastic - very large variety of items from eggs, sausage, rolls, cheese, deli meat, fruit, cereals and more.

my first stay in this Spanish (or should I say Catalan) chain, which strikes me as a cut beneath its larger Spanish rival, the NH chain -- but so are its prices. Pretty decent restaurant a block up (west); streetcar #44 runs very frequently.

This was the first time for a Eurostar hotel. They are modern which I like and perfectly put together! Staff was very accommodating and spoke good English. We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel. Location is not bad but a Tram station is just across the street that will take you to the center. Very good value for money. The room was quiet and clean, the breakfast very good, the employees kind and efficient. The tram going in the city center stops in font of the hotel and the metro in just 500m far. The only drawback was the small size of the room (especially of the bathroom)

The Price/Quality relationship was probability distorted by the Euro Cup 2008. The free internet in the hotel lobby was nice. However, on the shared terminal it would be nice if the hotel implemented a 15 minute limit while others are waiting policy -- as there were in considerate people who sat at the computer for hours.

Hotel Eurostars Vienna is a comfy place away from home. It is near the public transport and is close to the city centre. The staff are professionals and are always willing to help. We had an amazing view of the city from our room. Significantly, our room has the modern perks and is absolutely well maintained. The breakfast served is superb. I would no doubt stay in the same hotel when I go back to Vienna.

Hotel was a bit further from the public trains than expected, but once arrived the hotel was clean with big rooms. The bathroom layout leads to a minor flood every time you shower, and not sure about the dogs allowed policy. We personally don't enjoy sharing the meals rooms with four legged friends (each to their own)

This hotel is a about 2 kilometres out of town on a busy road. However it is very well served by trams to the centre of Vienna every 6 minutes from straight outside the front door. Buy a 24 hour day rover ticket covering trams and metro for about €5.50. We have only given a low rating for quietness of rooms. This is because the rooms on the road side do get quite a bit of traffic noise. Also if you are offered a room on the top floor (7), try to get it changed because it has roof slope and skylights with no curtains. We were in one of these the first night and requested a change. We were moved to a room on floor 6 facing the back of the hotel away from the road and it was excellent. Despite this, I would go back to the hotel because it was very clean and modern, excellent breakfast, good fitness centre and pool and good value for money compared with the hotels in the centre of Vienna. Very obliging staff. But remember, avoid floor seven and if you are sensitive to traffic noise insist on a rear facing room.

Pretty good accomodation. One thing to avoid though: the rooms at the last floor (7th floor). The rooms are rather small, but the bathroom is extremely small, at 1.90m tall you can't take a shower standing tall. Despite this, the stay was quite good actually and the overall impresion was ok.

I can't believe how economical this hotel was. It was a very short tram ride into the main drag, the hotel was immaculate and severely unpriced, the breakfast was extensive and tasty and the staff spoke better English than most of the people in England. I actually laughed to myself when I checked out it was absolutely wonderful!

this is a very good hotel that provides good value for money. The standard rooms are small and the bathrooms small and not as good as the Eurostars Prague but they are spotless, modern and have good showers. Breakfast was not as good as Prague either but it was still adequate. Vienna value for money is excellant. The Tram/street car stops right outside the hotel and the public transport system is perfection, simple, effecient, extensive, integrated and just a dream to use. The staff was helpful, kind and professional Excellent breakfast. It is located downtown, maybe not at the historical area but, only ten minutes walking to downtown, tram stop in front of the hotel, five minuets to centre and metro station five minutes walking Highly recommended in a city with old and expensive hotels. It worth the price in you balance quality and price my opinion is an excellent option when visiting Vienna.

Service is professional, rooms are clean and nice. The swimming pool and sauna were being in construction while we stayed there in august 2006. The hotel is quite well located: 5 minutes away from the metro, and next to a bus station driving to central Vienna. But the neighorhood is a little dark, and it is impossible to park a car nearby the hotel.

I was very happy with this hotel. The room was perfect, clean and nice. It was like staying in a Boutique Hotel. The reason why I gave it a 9/10 instead of 10/10 was because the hotel was 10 minutes away by Street Car. If it was in the Old City it would be perfect. I would recommend this hotel to anybody and really taking the street car is not a problem. One line directly Downtown.
