pros: Great room and great price! It's a simple hotel but its very close to the Shonnbrun Palace and Zoo. There are a couple nice low key restaurants nearby. It is also near the train which I liked so I could trek into the city. Cheap tasty breakfast. cons: Poor wi-fi range. I had to hang out by the stairs to get a good signal. Weird old dude was staring at me the morning of my check-out between going to breakfast and coming back. Not sure if he was cleaning staff or customer.

There is a constant noise before the windows, probabely from a motorgenerator for climatitization in the lower rooms. So we must close the windows during the night. Our room was on the ovest-side.

We stayed in a spacious triple room. Despite the perishing cold outside the room (which was double glazed) was always warm and quiet - the rumble of the nearby Strassenbahn was only just audible. The room was clean and the bathroom also. We did not have much interraction with the staff but they were generally helpful and good although the ones covering the late evenings at the weekend did not seem to well-informed (although it could be that my German was not so good). Breakfast (7 Euro extra) was a good buffet on the topm floor with an excellent view. No doubt it would be pleasant to sit outside up there in summer months. Access to the centre was easy and quick on the nearby UBahn but the area itself is also interesting and attractive to walk around. We even walked through the gardens of the Schoenbrunn Palace (5 minutes away) for breakfast at its cafe one morning.

The hotel has an excellent location-very close to the Schonbrunn palace, good food, public transport to the centre and shopping. We also received a very good deal for a last minute change. The staff, however, did not seem very friendly and the facility, though adequate and clean, was old. We recommend the Panchutta restaurant and Café Dommayer-just around the corner.

Only smoker's rooms. In the middle of a shopping center, but it's not possible to dark the windows completely, only jalouseas, one of them did not work sufficiently. Parking costs add 18 € every 24 hours. But, positive: very big rooms and quite central.

Great place! I went to Vienna with my girlfriend to spend the weekend. This was our first time in Hotel Ekazent Schönbrunn and we had a really good time. Rooms were quite, big and clean. The only downside was that the room was a bit bright in the morning because of the curtains. Not a big deal though. I would definitely go back. Don't forget to say hello to Ossi the cacatua in the entrance! ;)

Hotel Ekazent Schonbrunn was a great place to stay in Vienna. It is within walking distance of the Schonbrunn palace and gardens (which makes a great first day in Vienna) and directly across the street from trams which can take you anywhere in the city. Vienna public transportation is great and this hotel is in a good location. There are several good restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets. The hotel was very clean and the receptionists all spoke excellent English. Although Austrians are not always overly friendly and talkative people, all of the hotel staff were quite helpful and communicative. Our room for three had four beds and was very spacious. There was also a large walk-in closet/changing room. Rooms on the street side of the hotel can be a little louder than the other side, but we had no problems sleeping (even with the windows open). Great place to stay and a great value for Vienna!

The position is good, near the metro. Service is good. The room is quite big. I like it very much. The only problem is the arrangement of twin room is a little strange. One bed is a little smaller, but it is not a big deal.

A very pleasant experience. The most pleasant is the well-signed entrance to the parking garage from A1 and the convenient elevator to the lobby. The rooms were large, clean, comfortable. Another unusually positive experience was the breakfast in a sunny top floor breakfast room overlooking the mansions of Hietzing. There is a very good selection of restaurants very close by. Of course the main attraction is the close proximity to the fabulous Schoenbrunn gardens and castle! Downtown Vienna is a short subway ride away. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Great, a 10 all the way!

I've never stayed at a hotel where the first and 2nd floors are offices and medical facilities and the top floors are the hotels. There was a lot of noise the first night (street repairs), 2nd night was better but still not great, the street is busy. Locations is good, close to the castle, the "inner town" is easy to get to with the subway. Staff was helpful, breakfast was good. Would I stay here again? Probably not if I had a choice, but it was OK.

I was in the hotel in January. It 's a nice hotel in a nice area, very close to an excellent and cheap Austrian restaurant (ask to the reception) and, of course, to Schonbrunn. The breakfast is very good and is served in a very nice room with a view of the surrounding zone. Kind people, clean and spacious room; no problems of noise since it was towards the backyards. Excellent price/quality relation.

Hotel Ekazent is the one of the nicest, cheaper hotels i've ever seen. In comparison to other hotels i've seen around Vienna it offers much more for a lesser fee. Though rooms are not of a very high standard, they are very spacious and clean. The TV in the room is generaly ok, however since our room was rather large and it was all the way accross the room, it was rather difficult to watch it from the bed. Besides that there were only a few minor quirks that i could mention. Like the cleaning lady once forgot to leave us any soap, and the next day we got soap but no shampoo, etc. As for the hotel employees, they are all very nice and frendly, only one of the receptionist we've met there didn't speak english, however other receptionists spoke english fluently. One of the advantages of this hotel is that it's a 2 minute walk from the Schonbrun TierGarten, the oldest Zoo in the world as well as the whole Schonbrun Park, which is a very nice place to go alone or with company. In the end the U-bahn is nearby so the whole city is at your reach in like 10-15 min.

The hotel is located in the 3rd and 4th stage of a building. Thus, it is not easy to find the hotel at all as it's in a commercial center. Only public parking : 2 hours for 4.5 euros ; 11 euros per night. Very noisy during the night. Yet, the family room was clean and confortable.

We found everything exactly as stated on the web: A spacious and clean room (4-bed) with a walk-in closet, furnished very practically. With open windows, street noise (and lights) presented a big problem; we would be willing to pay a little more for air conditioning or a ceiling fan, at least. Our solution: Open the windows in the evening and go for a long walk - or don't come in the summer! Parking was indeed 11 EUR per day payable to the hotel, which is a very good deal (might be more if one pays on their own).

Ekazent it´s a very nice quality-price Hotel. I went with my family (4 women) and we share a room with a great view, 4 individual beds and nice bathroom-Shower inside the room. Breaksfast it´s included and it´s so good. They have a self service buffet with everything. Staff is friendly. Ask about to rent a bike over there very cheap: 3 euros for all day with lock included, and its a nice thing to do in Vienna. The hotel building it´s not new but everything is clean and service is correct. They have elevator and tram and metro station it´s around the corner, 10 minutes from city center. For what you pay you won´t find something better in Vienna. I would stay over there again. Only thing they don´t have Air conditioner if you go on sumer. Try to take a ventilator.

venere.com says they have free tickets to the Schoenbrunn Tiergarten/Zoo, but they say they no longer do. The zoo is not cheap, so this may be a big deal. The zoo is nice, though! There is an underground parking garage, which Ekazent said cost 11 Euros a day, but really it cost more like 18 a day. It's not included in the price of the room. I don't know of a good alternative, though. In the summer, with the windows open, there is a lot of road noise, trolleys and cars. Very close to Schoenbrunn, though.

As an absolute plus i would point out that it was quiet easy to find-after you exit the hiway from Salzburg/Linz there will be two-three shields which will guide you directly to the parking lot of hotel. The location it self is also comfortable i find-although it's not central there is a metro station 3 min. away,it takes 10-13 min. to get to the downtown.
