Hotel Capri - Vienna

Nice hotel, basic but clean. A bar and small restaurant would be nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. A bit noisy in the morning with traffic outside. Easy for a stroll into the centre of Vienna

Very well located you can reach downtown Vienna in just few minutes walk. When overnighting on business trip I just look for clean bed and bathroom. It's however overwhelming that in 2011 you shall pay extra charges for wi-fi connection. Funny enough (but for some reason even useful) you can hire an iPad for 15.00 euros per day.

We had an excellent stay at the Capri. We were lucky enough to have an excecutive room with a fan as there was no air conditioning. We also had tea/coffee making facilities too. There's an excellent Itallian Restaurant a couple of doors away too.

Nice Hotel, close to city Center and Prater Park. Metro is just in front of hotel. Big and clean rooms that looks like new. Good breakfast with everything you like. A perfect relationship between price and quality.

Very nice and competent staff. Location and close to U-Bahn was very good. I did not like that the hallway and room had a strong smell of tobacco-smoking.

We had a wonderful spacious room with a view of the hills outside Vienna.. The breakfast was very good in choices (many many) and quantity and service. We enjoyed neighborhood around hotel- different 'ethnic' restaurants (we tried italian and japanese both quite good). Also weather was fantastic so being close to Prater park was a real bonus...Only 2 metro stops to Stephensplatz although we did walk once or twice (about 15 min.). The only problem we had with the hotel was getting our room cleaned as we had to ask each day to have it cleaned and the last day of our stay it never happened. (It may be they were in the middle of staff changes or something as it seemed a bit confused when we asked about it.) Highly recommend this hotel-especially during warm seasons as it's well located to enjoy more of Vienna than the famous museums and Stephensplatz area.

A good stay for a short business trip.

We were on short visit sightseeing. We were very pleased with Hotel Capri, except young lady at reception when we arrived wasn't over enthusiastic about giving us directions etc. Room was excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel Very clean. We didn't meet many people. Waitress at breakfast was pleasant, as was night porter & gentleman at reception when we were leaving

Hotel located in center of town, a step from U-Ban station and only two stops away from Stefanplatz which made it super convenient for touring the town. one should not expect too much of the hotel (most of us come for a clean bed and shower facilities and a decent breakfast anyway), but the room was very clean and very functional. breakfast was included in price, not very common in Vieanna hotels, which made it a factor in choosing this hotel. hotel staff had difficulties in the English language but were fully cooperative when asked for assistance. when booking this hotel ask for a room at the back side as the front is openning to a bussy street. rooms are not airconditioned!!! must be hell staying there in summer!!!

Excellent hotel, great situation next to Ubahn stop for visiting Vienna. Nice big rooms, very clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.

Conference & short city break. Good value for money, perfect situation as halfway between conference venue (Vienna centre) and city centre, right by the metro. Clean.

We were booked into the Capri in September and liked it so much we stayed there in December. It is walking distance from the Prater train station for the train to/from the airport. It is walking distance to St.Stephens and the ring area. Breakfast is good. The rooms are not huge but big enough. The desk staff are very helpful, mapped out the Christmas markets for us.

Stock standard 3 star hotel. Good, but unremarkable. There's not much in the immediate area, but it's close to the U Bahn and a short walk to the central city.

It's located between city center and Austria Vienna convention center. Excellent location for the convention participator. U-bahn is in front of the hotel door.

Excellent location. Easy access to all Vienna has to offer. Staff is courteous and helpful. Breakfast provided is terrific.

Generally good. Rooms could be a bit more modern and Breakfast should be a little bit more diverse. Absolutely great place to stay and explore Vienna. Subway station just 50 m away.

There are no facilities in the rooms for drinks such as tea and coffee and no refrigerators. This was dissapointing. There is no Restaurant at the hotel, but there is a small breakfast room in which they supply a sufficient breakfast. The local restaurants are good with a selection of menus, but beware of holiday closures - especially christmas and new year. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Capri

We had a wonderful family suite, very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is situated right acrooss the Metro station which makes moving around Vienna very easy.
