Am Schubertring is a charming private hotel in the heart of the city, reflecting the history of the Ringstrasse as well as that of Vienna.

First-class-comfort, Viennese cosiness, old-Austrian tradition and a pretentious ambience, combined with a very attentive and polite service, generating a nice quality of life, make guests return time and again with pleasure.

Next to the reception lies the welcoming Schubert bar, designed in Adolf Loos style, and from here an elevator takes guests straight up to all 39 rooms at the top of the building, some of them having a nice view on the historic center of the city.

Quite a strange hotel, on the 3rd floor of a building, the elevator does not stop on 1. or 2. floor (private property, perhaps?) For me it was not the perfect choice...

Excellent location, cosy and unique rooms on top floor, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Minuses were cold rooms and too small breakfast room (some mornings had to queue up). also we did not know how to get cold water from the shower - if it is broken, please someone fix it until we'll come again. Summa summarum - great place!

Excellent hotel. Great breakfast and very quiet. Because of my business trip my room wasn't too important. But . . . my room was on top floor with about half of the ceiling being on a 45 degree angle (this holds true for the shower). The only window (with closed blinds) was embedded in the slanted portion of the ceiling. As I said before, for my purposes my room was very acceptable. But for those who like to see the city and wonder what the weather is like . . . .

We had a very good stay at your hotel. We were especially impressed by the excellent service and information we got in the reseption about transportation and cultural events in Vienna. We would love to come back as soon as possible!

We enjoyed our stay in de hotel. The only problem our room had #18 is a beam very low which makes it no suitable for tall people like me. I ndo not know the number of available room so the answer is not true, but you requet it

The room did not have proper windows, just a hatch in the ceiling, letting very little light into the room. There were also poor lightinging in the room. The photos and hotel information were misleading as they did not inform about this. For a 4 star hotel this is rather unusual.

As an American I continue to be astounded by the price European chains charge for their small rooms with few amenities in relationship to the value that we are accustomed to receiving in the US.

We stayed 6 nights and found the location, the size of the room and the helpfullness of the staff very good.the area surrounding the hotel is quite nice...the common area of the hotel is very small as the hotel forms only part of the overall uilding on the 5th floor. we had a car so parking at 20 euros a day does make it a bit expensive.

I loved the hotel. The staff was superb. The only draw back for U.S.citizens is the euro and the weak dollar exchange.

We really enjoy staying at this hotel. Very central location, Viennese atmosphere; wonderful breakfast!...and the best was our room, we were celebrating our first marriage anniversary and we got a large room, VERY comfortable…with an incredible bath room, splendid!( Ask for Room number 15) As negative points the common spaces are a bit tight; the hotel reception is very small, not enough place to sit down in a comfortable place if you want. The breakfast room is a bit close, is underground room without so much ventilation.Something important is that we woke up very early because the curtains were not enough to get a dark room in the morning

Excellent hotel. Great location - walking distance to all city center attractions. Ten minute walk to subway. The room was immaculate and large and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel within walking distance of main square. The only problem was that the room locked with a key. When I went down to breakfast my wife stayed in the room and I had to lock the door from the outside. This meant she could not get out of the room in the event of an emergency. After the first day she kept the room locked from the inside and I had to knock on the door for her to open it. We had three nice days in Vienna.

I thought the location was excellent for the price and the fact that they had a small outdoor sitting area on the sidewalk was greato to observe Vienna pass by. Breakfast was excellent and the public lounge area was up to par although the smoking bothered me as it was a small area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there if we return.

Location is the main advantage of the Am Schubertring Hotel, providing easy access to any central spot, either on foot or by trams 1 and 2. We were a little disappointed by the breakfast. Coffee is not great, and that's a shame for a Viennese hotel, and as for the chocolate, well, you prepare it yourself with warm milk and cocoa powder. The rooms are fine, though, and the staff quite helpful.

We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was hard to find, we turned many corners, and it was situated far from the lift, this was the only inconvenience. We would use this hotel again

Highly recommended as we had an excellent three-day stay and found everything to our satisfaction. Breakfast was included in the room rate and was a very good buffet with lots of choice. The location on the edge of the centre was ideal for us, within easy walking distance of the museum quarter, opera, etc. There is a tram stop right outside the door. Pleasant small bar for a quick drink before an evening out - lots of restaurants within reach.

Hotel Am Schubertring was centrally located and enabled us to enjoy all the popular Viennese sites by foot or tram. Their morning breakfast was delicious and provided in an attractive dining room. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any traveler seeking good value and proximity to the rich history of Vienna.
