It is one of my favorite hotel. Location is nice and services of staffs are very nice, indeed. This is my five times to come to Vienna and it is worth visitting your hotel. Thank you.

Very good hotel. Location to center is 6-7 min. with underground transport. To Prater and parks is 5 min. walk. Confortable and cleaned rooms.

Really bad surroundings. Bad room on the highest floor without clima and with a small window. It wasn't even medium hotel.

Overall, I was very pleased. I've had better breakfasts in Vienna hotels, but it wasn't bad. The location was convienent, but you'll walk past a strip club with some risque pictures in the windows as you walk to Praterstern, the nearest U1 stop. That would have annoyed me more if I'd been there with my family. The staff was very friendly, patient, and helpful.

A very useful hotel near a major transport nexus, giving easy access to the city and airport. The staff here helpful and friendly and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Excellent location, just 10 minutes walk from Praterstern station, where you can find couple of Metro lines. There's also a train directly from the airport to Praterstern.

I stayed in a bright and spacious double room on the second floor. We paid 85 euros per night, which included a great breakfast and access to a coffee machine for free coffee/tea/hot chocolate 24/7. The area didn't seem that great, but we didn't have a chance to explore it properly. However the bus stop is only a couple minutes away and bus #21 comes every 5-10 minutes and gets downtown (Schwedenplatz) in 10 mins. It is also a 10-15 minutes walk to the Praterstern subway stop (and the Prater, of course: don't miss the Riesenrad!).

Hotel staff at reception terrific - lovely and engaging. Breakfast fine, and room absolutely spotless and spacious. Breakfast staff efficient, but not very friendly about it. Walked there late at night and while not unsafe, not particularly savory...

Excellent hotel, very well situated, just few station from the center whit the tram 21, very clean, very consistent breakfast, the staff very friendly, overall nice place to stay compare to the price you pay. Undoubtedly I will stay again there.

We stayed three days in december.Excellent relationship between price and quality.Brilliant breakfast. The room was veery clean and the central heating was wonderful.Well connected with the centre by tram, but it was easy even to go on foot as it took 10 or 14 minutes. For us, PERFECT!

Great breakfast. We had a huge clean room on the back side, so very quiet. Internet free in the lobby. Quiet close to the centre by underground (2-3 stops). No free park nearby, there's a cheap parking zone 1km away (4€/day). Many strip clubs near the hotel but zone absolutely calm. I would stay there again.

We had a very small room but it was OK for the purpose (ie just overnight waiting for a train). It was inconvenient to the international airport as we had to go via the 'metro' then find a tram then walk some distance. The surrounding were a bit dodgy and encouraged us to stay in at night as I was travelling with a small child. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great.

The employee's were excellent. They went out of their way to be helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip, everything was well prepared. Location is just a bit off but it was within 2 blocks for public transportation to get to the Old City. We would stay there again and would recommend it to our personal friends. The negative was the smoking that hit us when we walked in the door, all general public areas had severe smoking. This was a big downside.

We were able to find the hotel easily with the directions given, the staff were helpful and can speak English which is very helpful! Breakfast was good and included in the price. We enjoyed ourselves and felt comfortable at the hotel.

Luca & Cristina.

Very good hotel, fine price/quality ratio, quite surroundings but please consider there is nobody around in the evening and a couple of sexy bar/club just nearby. Use the metro or the tram to go downtown, they are a few steps away. Recommended also if you go there by car, good possibility for parking andd then move with public transportation.

1. Good location near the a tram station that would take u to the underground train and from there it is minutes to city center; 2. The hotel was clean, quiet; 3. Room was clean; bath room with shower was OK 4. Buffet breakfast was included in price and was good To Summarize: A Good Hotel!

This hotel was absolutely amazing. The price was unbeatable, and our room was the exact room as in the pictures, with the balcony and everything. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful, the staff was competent in English, French and German, which was great for us non-German speakers. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel was overall quiet. The three nights I spent here set an unbeatable standard for the other two hotels that I stayed at throughout Austria. Overall, great hotel, and I am looking forward to staying there again next time I am in Vienna!

The hotel was better than expected, the persons providing service are friendly and competent - and I (we) would recommend the hotel to any of our friends. We come to Vienna now and then and once we even lived there. If you are in a room with a window facing Heinestrasse you can not sleep with an open window (which we usually would do).

The hotel is a fair deal; you should not expect too much, but then again, it is reasonably prized for Vienna. Wireless LAN is only available in the lobby and it is quite expensive. There seems to be usually one computer for free use, but it was broken while I stayed at the hotel.

Siamo rimasti a Vienna sei giorni e in generale abbiamo avuto un riscontro molto positivo riguardo all'albergo.

The hotel is situated in sleazy part of Vienna with girlie bars nearby (in all directions) so we wouldn’t recommend walking around at night and there are no nearby restaurants anyway. The hotel is a 40 minutes walk to the city centre, although a tram stops near the hotel. The Staff aren’t very helpful, however the front desk Staff do speak English. Our tiny bathroom had a shower but no shower curtain connected? The room has a heater that is only set on Hot (you can’t turn down or off) we had to sleep with open windows in early Spring!!! Breakfast is more than adequate for a 3 star hotel (unless you are possibly an American)? They do offer free Internet use on a single computer!!!! When we are next in Vienna, we would not stay at the Hotel Am Augarten again - Travellers from Australia.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and staff friendly.Lobby and breakfast rooms were lovely. It was about 10 minutes walk from the tube stop which is not based in the centre. Is near a lap dancing club though so there were a few characters about and the hotel is by the tramline so you will hear the trams and a bit of shaking. Bathroom was a bit worrying in that my room faced the main street and the frosted window was outside my shower with no curtain; so you couldn't put the light on in the bathroom in the evening or your silhouette may get seen. Curtains should be invested in!

Siamo stati benissimo.

We were delightfully surprised by the size of the room (rm. 105). The breakfast buffet is very generous and good. Very good service, very good prices for the quality. Just around 10 minutes walk away from city centre, very close to Wien-Nord train station and u-Bahn.

The breakfast staff could have been attired a little bit more in accordance with ALT WIEN. One does not expect to see sloppiness in attire or general sloveliness in Old Vienna. Otherwise the breakfast buffet was great and so was everything else.

Excellent hotel with a wonderfull price. Very well situated across the tram stop which made very easy our visits in Vienna. The room was a bit noisy since it was situated towards the central patio of the service hotel area. But that was nothing in comparison with the lovely pillows, wonderful brown bread, helpfull staff (they even took care of our luggage during 4 days while away in Venice)and great location (specially if you are attending a meeting at the Neue Messe Wien Convention Center, since the tram takes you right there!). Have a lovley time in Wien!!!
