The hotel is a "Garni" (B&B). The room was spacious and very quiet. Very good breakfast and friendly service. Concerning the surroundings: the hotel is located close to the Praterstern (Wien Nord) railway station, at just two subway stops from city centre (Stephansplatz), but the area is peripheral and it's difficult to find there a cafè or a bar open after 7:00 p.m.

Hôtel un peu à l'écart mais très bien desservi par les transports en commun (10 minutes en métro de Stephansplatz). Chambre très propre et spacieuse, relativement calme. Personnel très attentionné. Très bon rapport qualité /prix.

The room was absolutely great for us (i went with my sister),especially if u go in winter, because the beds are perfect to rest a while!. The only i didnt like about beeing there was that in the nearest subway station we always saw people "pee-ing" outise it, so we felt a bit insecure. Besides that, everything was ok. The girl on the desk doesnt give the best welcoming, but you can handle it.

We've been already the second time in Vienna and the first time in this Hotel. First of all we want to say that we'll sure come back to Vienna and most of all: we'll come back to this hotel, the rooms were very cosy and beautiful and the breakfast really very good. The hotel is located in a calm little street, not far from the centre (we were travelling by car and we could park quite close to the hotel). We're living in Zurich / Switerland, so we liked quality and price of this hotel - we come back again. Only thing was that the rooms had no (working) internet-connection / and no wlan (the receptionist told us, that this would only be a temporarly problem).

L'hotel Adlon é una struttura confortevole e il personale é molto gentile e competente. La camera era pulita, ma la biancheria era insufficiente e il cambio delle lenzuola é avvenuto solo una volta nell'arco di una settimana. E' un albergo facilmente raggiungibile con la metro e non troppo lontano dal centro.

By car
From the Südautobahn (A2): from Wr. Neustadt, Graz, Klagenfurt, change to A23 and exit at Zentrum / Prater. Follow Schüttelstraße until Franzensbrückenstraße and turn right. Take the second left into Hofenedergasse.
From the Westautobahn (A1): from Linz, Salzburg, change from A21 to A2. Straight on to A23 and exit at Zentrum / Prater. Follow Schüttelstraße until Franzensbrückenstraße and turn right. Turn left on the second side street into Hofenedergasse.
From the Ostautobahn (A4): change to Route 227 and exit at Zentrum / Prater. Follow Schüttelstrasse until Franzenbrückenstrasse and turn right. Turn left on the second side street into Hofenedergasse.
By train
From the Westbahnhof train station: take the subway line U3, to Stephansplatz. Change to U1, and take the exit Parterstern / Wien Nord. From there it is only a 3-minute walk to the hotel.
From the Südbahnhof train station: take the city train (S-Bahn) S1, 2, 3, 7, or 15 to Praterstern / Wien Nord. From there it is only a 3-minute walk to the hotel.
By airplane
The Vienna Airport (VIE) in Schwechat is only 11 km from the hotel.
Take the city train No. 7 to Praterstern / Wien Nord (the ride takes 25 minutes). From the metro / train station, Praterstern / Wien Nord, cross Franzensbrückenstraße. From there it is only a 3-minute walk to the hotel. During the day, the S7 runs every 20 minutes.
Take the CAT - City Airport Train to Praterstern / Wien Nord (the ride takes 25 minutes). From the metro / train station, Praterstern / Wien Nord, cross Franzensbrückenstraße. From there it is only a 3-minute walk to the hotel. Departure every 30 minutes, during the day.
A taxi ride to the hotel takes only about 15-20 minutes and costs between €30,00 and €35,00. We recommend to negotiate a flat rate with the driver in advance.
