Since the opening of the Grand Hotel Wien the doors of the restaurant Le Ciel have been wide open for those who enjoy culinary delights.
The restaurant is located on the 7th floor, where the view over the city of Vienna is spectacular. During the summer season, meals are also served on the rooftop terrace. -

A simply wonderful hotel. Beautifully restored to its full glory. Brilliant, friendly but non-obsequious service. Obvious: it's 300 metres from the Opera. Not So Obvious Dinner tip: for the younger crowd, if you are having a special evening and want a relaxed dinner then check out the Phoenix SupperClub.

An elegant refurbished hotel. The rooms have character and modern facilities. New sushi cafe on ground floor is good but pricy. Very prestigious location.

Japanese food reakfast was very nice. Taxi to airport has been conveniently arranged as fixed price (35 euro).

The hotel offers 205 superior, deluxe and exclusive single, double rooms and junior suites, all luxuriously furnished, tastefully decorated and featuring private bathroom, with hairdryer and telephone.The rooms are furthermore equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, satellite/cable TV, LCD flat screen TV, fan, free coffee and tea making facilities, desk, radio, mini bar, electronic safe, trouser press, ADSL Internet connection and direct dial telephone.
Non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms as well as ironing facilities and baby cots are available on request. Additional beds are available only in the deluxe and exclusive rooms.

How to reach Grand Hotel Wien
By carFrom highway A2, take exit Zentrum Altmansdorf and continue in the Triester Straße direction. Keep right and pass the Südbahnhof railway station. Take the first left and follow the signs to the centre and then to the hotel.
From highway A1, follow the directions to the city centre on the Linke Wienzeile. Take a right at Karlsplatz to Schwarzenbergplatz and then a left into Ringstraße. Now follow the hotel indications.
By train
From any railway station, take the underground to the Opera stop, which is close to the hotel.
