Hackengasse 20 - Vienna
877-662-6988NOTE: due to renovation works in the breakfast room, from 01.03.2009 to 31.07.09 the breakfast buffet will not be served, instead of it the hotel will offer a breakfast snack with tea or coffee, cakes and fruit.

The only downside was the very small bathroom, a little tight for 2 people (girls...).

For price of room coffee/tea facilities would give greater value for money. A plug for the sink would have wasted less water!!

Enjoyed our stay. Got what we wanted: Close to Westbahnhof , came by train from Budapest and went by bus to the airport. We had our breakfast out in the garden which was nice - lucky with the weather. Nice & friendly staff.Us band Wilco played at the Gasometer , best concert this year for us !

Everything is made with care and love. The lavender gardens are just beautiful, and it is supposed to be one of the most quiet places so close to the center of Vienna.

This is a hotel that shows that you can be green and stylish and have all the comforts without excess. The room we had was beautifully designed and very comfortable. The balcony was a nice touch and the fact that you can open all the doors and windows. Great range at breakfast in the morning. The discount they give to those arriving by train or bicycle shows that they put their money where their mouth is. Great location and close to metro and trams.

The room was very small, but not bad for 1 person. Breakfast very good. All the employees were nice and always have a smile on their face. Fully recommend!

Lovely hotel in great location - slightly noisy due to extension work but not really a probelm as we wanted to be up early to make the most of our short stay in Vienna. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Their Wreless signal is very poor in the room. I suggest that you go down to the lobby with your laptop if you need to do MNS. I suggest that the hotel management improve their wireless internet signal if you want to attract more customers. In this 21st century internet is part and parcel of everyines life. Being FREE of charge is the one step to winning more customers.

We stayed 4 days. Great place to stay close to the train station very informative staff breakfast good the only thing was they advertised wifi but it did not work in the some rooms! Check and ensure you book a room where it works otherwise you have to work in the very comfortable lobby. I strongly recommend this place value for money!

Very nice renovated hotel, with spacious and clean rooms. Very quiet and peaceful. Remark: due to renovation works in the hotel (restaurant room), we benefited from a very competitive price regarding the hotel's standard. Enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Good location, just 5 minutes' walk from Westbahnhof station. Quiet back street. Whole hotel has very recently (03/09) been completely refurbished to a very high standard, and is now a "boutique" venue. High environmental awareness. Staff extremely helpful, and all English-speaking. Eating area still being developed (04/09), so breakfast reduced to a snack (small reduction for this would have been appropriate). Once this is finished (07/09), should be no problem. Recommended. Would use again.

Primarily I wanted to visit the WIPA stamp exhibition, but I always enjoy Vienna and had not been for several years. My friends had been there only for one day before and wanted to see and experience more of the city. They enjoyed it too. We spent some time on the internet choosing a hotel, and were pleased with the choice we made. We had no major criticisms, thought it was quite good value, lived up to expectations geneally and was especially advantageous in terms of convenience for reaching the city centre and sights. When making our choice we were influenced by the many positive customer comments about this hotel.

This is a gem of a small hotel in an easily accessible location. It is a five minutes walk from Westbahnhof which provides easy access for train travelers. The hotel provides a quick start guide to buses and metro for the principal sights in Vienna. Both bus and metro are within a few minutes walk. The hotel courtyard is a pleasant place to eat a satisfying European-style breakfast after 8:30 am or relax after a long day in the city. The staff were very friendly and, when asked, even provided a room fan on a very hot day.

I stayed in a very quiet single room. Breakfast was good (mind you, in a continental way - do not expect enchiladas). The staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel has excellent access to the Westbanhof and Mariahilferstrasse. I was there for business, but I imagine it would be quite OK even for tourists.

I was very happy with the hotel. The room was large, breakfast was good and the free internet access was great. The location was quite good it is a 10 minute walk from the station but it is close to the bus stops and the place where the tours leave. The are not many restaurants or much night life around the immediate vicinity

Wonderful small hotel with a very good breakfast. Close to the town center attractions as all are withing wali=kng distance. We paid 24 Euro to park at the castle and grounds and were surprised later that evening as we took a walk prior to dinner to find that we could have walked there.

A well situated and quiet hotel for those who wish to explore the centre of Vienna. The style is modern as well as personal with many paintings and reused furniture. Nice garden. Breakfast very good. We had a very large room with easy chairs, more than a bed room!
