Le Axidie Hotel - Seiano, Sorrento

The Hotel and surroundings is delicious. The reicepsionists and staff are humorous and skilled. The restaurant and waiters a bit "stiff".

Best kept secret on the Bay of Naples. Nothing at all seemed to be a problem for any of the staff. Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody - though I wouldn't recommend the drive down from the main road!

Un posto molto particolare immerso nella natura ma a pochi km da Sorrento, Positano, Napoli, Pompei, etc. I Residence sono affacciati sul mare e l'albergo è dotato di piscina ed una spiaggia privata. Giochi gonfiabili per bambini, tennis, calcio. Forse i periodi migliori per goderselo sono in giugno e settembre.

Le Axidie Hotel is very modern, clean, and well run. The manager greeted us at arrival and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was served on a roofside terrace and was tasty and nicely presented. The beach included chairs, umbrellas, and even toys for the children. However, it is quite rocky so bring shoes to wear. The view from our balcony was a breathtaking one of Mt Vesuvious. Our friends had a room at the end of the hotel near the public beach access and found it to be noisy every night. We would definitely stay here again when in the Sorrento area.

When we came the receptionist told us to wait for her coleague that will lead us to our room. Only when she came we understood why this is necessary: The hotel is built like a maze... Other then that: the room was specious but appeared more simple then expected for a four star hotel and even compared to the photo presented in the site. Breakfast was one of the lamest we had - even compared to three stars hotel. As for dinner - the indoor dinner was nothing to write home about and there are not too many restaurants in the area. The beach is nice, only when we arrived on 6pm and went in the water someone from the hotel staff "kindly" removed our posessions from the sun beds and took the sun beds away... since they were closing off the beach (the pool was already closed on 6pm). Generally speaking - if you're in the area it's an ok hotel, but I wouldn't get out of the way especially for it.

Beautiful setting but address in Vico Equense was misleading since the hotel is in Saena. Hotel staff was very warm and accommodating. Very comfortable stay.

The entrance of a hotel is in the parking lot side which did not face the sea. The room has guaranteed the necessary sufficient space but felt a little more cheaply. Since the seashore of Marina di Equa is not sand but a gravel, rubber a boots required for it.

Great hotel. It has a nice beach & pool with beautiful views over the Bay of Naples. It's located right next to the port which has daily ferries to Amalfi, Sorrento, Capri and Naples (soon serving Positano). The Capri ferry is not advertised as well but it's there! The ferries were great for day trip excursions and extremely convenient! The train station was about a 20minute walk up hill but the hotel was great about organising staff to drive you to the hotel and pick you up! Really, the staff was so friendly. I would absolutely recommend it. One warning, it was a bit loud Saturday night - you may want to ask for a room away from the main square!

This hotel is amazing! We stayed right on the coast and had a private deck overlooking the sea. The staff is wonderful and very accomodating. The location was perfect for a day trip to Pompeii and Capri! :-) Very impressed!

Our experience with the hotel was mixed. The staff were friendly and helpful, the main part of the hotel was well kept and the pool and outside bar was nice but it was too cold for us to use it, the view was unbelievable. We were a family of 4 and our room was not part of the hotel but up a hill and away from the main hotel. It was spacious, clean and warm however the furniture was old, sparce, and some lamps didn't work, the bathroom was cold and no shower curtain was hung until the second day. The pictures on the internet were not anything like the room we stayed in. If the staff was not as kind and helpful we would have left. The hotel rooms might have been better but they did not have a room that would accomodate 4.

We chose Le Axidie Hotel quickly, just looking for a place near Pompeii and Sorrento. It was a wonderful choice, now one of our favorite hotels in Italy. The owner was most helpful and we enjoyed our conversations with him. We were travelling by train, so had no car, and the staff was always happy to arrange a ride for us up to the "Circumvesuviana" train staion. It is a good walk for the energetic and we enjoyed our walk back down to the harbor each day. Our evening meals at the hotel's restaurant were excellent. Our triple room was spacious, comfortable, and the view of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples spetacular. We would have been happy relaxing on the balcony each day, enjoying the boats coming and going out of the marina. The hotel's beach and outdoor areas were beautiful, very pleasant to come back to after a day of touring Pompeii, Vesuvius, and the other many attractions easily reachable from Le Axidie. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Italy. Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful, but we think that you pay a high price because of the facilities offered. If you just use the hotel, and not all the facilities, the hotel is much too expensive, even being in front of the sea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The service was excellent. A car met us at the train station to take us to the hotel and the same service was offered at the end of our stay. Breakfast is very good, and the outdoor restaurant is exceptional. The view is unbeatable and the private beach is a definite plus. An infrequent but conventient ferry docks very close to the hotel to provide passage to Capri, Napoli and the Amalfi Coast. When our party of 3 arrived, we were offered a large villa for our weekend stay. It was rather rustic, but clean and spacious. I hope to stay here again.

This was a first class Hotel. English was no problem. Restraunt was 4 star. Private beach was as described. Room was perfect with a sea view accross the bay to Mt. Vesuvius. Wish we had spent more time there. Would definitely stay there again. Fantastic value for the price.
