The Viareggio hotel Torre Matilde offers a welcoming homely atmosphere, near to a large pine wood and in a very good position to visit the city of Carnival and the Versilia wonderful towns.
After a careful refurbishing, the hotel provides guests spaces dedicated to relaxation and nice and comfortable guest rooms, a restaurant serving home-made local and regional specialties, free wi-fi and TV room.
Friendly people but it is noisy, breakfast rather poor, not best value for money

Torre Matilde is a good little B&B if you're not worried about being right by the beach. Clean, friendly and spacious, and they were very accommodating for us with our 7 month old baby. Location was not very central but an easy walk away. We could hear the traffic noise from our bedroom
