Hotel San Francisco - Viareggio

Cleanliness of hotel in general : poor. Very noisy.Very small. Air conditioning: extremely insufficient

Very nice, clean hotel, good for price. Very good location. Nice rooftop solarium and breakfast area. Friendly and accomodating staff.

Really conveniently located. Brilliant views from the rooftop terrace (no bar though). In need of a bit of decoration but on the whole a good place to stay for the price. Wouldn't recommend the capuccino at breakfast- milk was horrible.

The personnel at reception was always welcoming, smiling and VERY helpfull. They helped us find a place to park the car for free, helped us find a quiet and free of access beach (passed the port, direction Marina Torre del Lago through the woods). You can always go to the "Elizabetha", private beach, so you get more services. Breakfast was good and there was a good choice of different food. The terrasse on top is nice (nicer than the Eden) and there is a shower. The rooms aren't as nice as those at the Eden (note: double beds are two singles put together in both places) but the staff at the San Francisco really made a difference! Many cycle path in the "Pineda" (woods) to go to the beach and by the main street too.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. The location was excellent and we had a sea-view room. On arriving, the reception staff provided us with train time timetables for the journeys we needed to make...all very helpful and polite. We also made use of the roof terrace, which was quiet and sunny. Would we return to this hotel if we are in the area? Certainly!

The decor of the hotel was very tasteful, full of interesting plants and ornaments, a very welcoming entrance. We had two rooms both of a good size with all the features you would expect. Breakfast was of a good quality and a nice selection but the breakfast room itself wasn't very big. The staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Escogimos este hotel pra pasar dos días de playa por su situación enfrente del paseo marítimo y la playa. Si llevas coche aparcas en la calle con tarjeta del hotel sin problemas. Está en el centro y puedes ir a pie por la localidad. Hotel antiguo pero habitaciones amplias y correctas. Aviso: Toda la playa (mas de 15 Km) es privada, hay que pagar al concesionario (uno cada 100 metros y así durante toda la playa)si bien tienes sombrilla, hamacas, piscina de agua marina y servicio.

In Viareggio for a relaxing beach holiday. The Hotel is in a fantastic location, just across the road to the beach and lovely promenade, which has a fab variety of bars and restaurants, not forgetting the amazing shops (what more can a girl ask for!!)

This was a good value for money hotel. We had a small room with a tiny balcony and a sea view.The room was spotlessly clean and we had lots of clean linen & towels. We were opposite a piano bar so some noise when we wished to sleep. Bus stop outside the hotel for those people who didn't wish to walk to the bus & rail stations, and a direct bus from there to Pisa airport. We were pleased with our choice.
