2nights. Double room. No welcome ie, no map of area (had to ask as maps behind counter out of reach!), no details of breakfast. Room has limited space, one wardrobe of which one door unable to open due to bedside cabinet there! Bathroom tatty. Entrance/reception is very nice but apart from that not sure this hotel is deserving of 3 stars. It is a good location on the front overlooking promenade and we were fortunate enough to have one of the two rooms with balcony which was very nice. Having stayed in good quality hotel in Pisa, this was a disappointment and I would not return or recommend it.

Lovely experience! We were treated with genuine courtesy by Ricardo and Luana who were gracious and offered wonderful recommendations for meals, etc. Regrettably, we only stayed one night before traveling to Monterosso, but we enjoyed Viareggio so much that we tried to return for the New Year weekend...only to find the Pardini and all other hotels fully booked! We loved Viareggio and will absolutely return to the Pardini on our next trip. Next time, we'll plan to stay longer.

Fantastic location - just 2 minutes from the beach and walking distance to the train station. Street parking. Ask for an ocean view room and enjoy sunsets every evening.

Hotel was very nice, on the main street right across from the shopping and water. We had rooms overlooking the water(be sure to ask for them). Breakfast was very good, especially the ham and cheese. Parking a bit of a challenge, you can park for free on the hotel side of the street (need to wait till night time to find spots) but you must pay to park everywhere else. Viareggio was a pleasant surprise to us, the shops were great, restaurants good also...try the happy hour bar called Bar Eden Salo Internato, also try the fish 'n chip boat docked at the south end. Cinque Terre was about 1.5 hour drive away and was breathtaking...a real must see.

We preferred a room in the back, and it has been an excellent choice. Very quiet, with a little terrace and a nice sight. Only breakfast was poor (as usual in most italian hotels)

A lovely hotel-so welcoming and helpful.Found my wife's shoe in outside rubbish! The breakfast coffee is delicious-the froth is better than Starbucks!!We had an car accident so couldn't arrive until day later but was not a problem and we were not charged for that lost night.

The location is perfect if you don't have a car. Very central and just a couple of doors from the Information office. A short walk to the Pinewoods to hire bicycles and for markets and shops including a supermarket. It was 15 minutes walk to the train station and just accross from the boardwalk, beach & restaurants. The welcome was warm, the room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was filling with freshly brewed coffee for each table and no problem if you wanted a second pot. The family were very accommodating and friendly.

On arrival we were offered a back room or a room overlooking the sea. We settled for the sea view and were rewarded with wonderful sunsets most evening. The hotel does not do itself justice as it has been re-decorated and refurbish since the photos were taken. The family Hotel offers good value for money in a very central position. I think it could calim to be Superior 3-Star.
