Hotel Ondina - Viareggio

NICE HOTEL VERY WELCOMING BUT ROOMS IN THE FRONT VERY NOISY IT IS DOUBLE GLAZED SO YOU CAN SHUT OUT THE NOISE. VERY REFRESHING TO HAVE A SIMPLE BREAKFAST WITH VERY FRESH ROLLS , PASTRIES, CEREALS , YOGURT AND FRESH COFFEE!!! PROPRIETERS VERY HELPFUL . NOT FAR FROM BEACH AND A DISCOUNT AVAILABLE ON BEACH FURNITURE. GOOD HOTEL FOR FAMILIES AND COUPLES

Very nice hotel close to the main street of Viareggio. A little noisy - but acceptable. The Hotel Manager was very helpfull in finding parking places, nice restaurants etc. A very positive stay. If we are comming to this area again we will definetly use this hotel.

The room has no air conditioning - so we had to open the window and it was IMPOSSIBLE to sleep with the noise coming from the street even in the middle of the night.

Welcoming and friendly place run by pleasant and helpful people. Bedrooms clean & airy. Biggish bathroom for Italy. Breakfast room was nice & light, lovely cakes and croissants & coffee to order. I was very happy to be able to use available internet. We had a big stair climb up to our rooms on the second floor, fine for us but maybe not for people with wobbly legs. They seemed to have plenty of rooms on the lower level too.

I had a most enjoyable stay at Hotel Ondina The owner is the perfect host and was most helpful in all situations.On request he nominated some restraunts to eat at and the ones I went to were excellent. The hotel is close to everything The owner nominated a beach we could hire unbrella s etc and this was discounted as we stayed at Ondina. The owner of the beach were also very helpful.I have been to Viareggio on other occassions and when I go back again I will book to stay at Hotel Ondina.

Clean and inexpensive, but very small rooms. If you want to be by the beach and not pay too much, it's a good spot. Plus, the people who run this place are extremely gracious.

I didn't personnally like Viareggio - huge and noisy city! Hotel windows look at the street which is very noisy the whole night through. And there is no air condition in the room (I think it is not mentioned on site) which was a big disappointment - so it was hot and noisy. Peosonal at the reception very welcoming :), breakfast quite expensive and poor - better to go out to a cafeteria putside.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel

The room we got, was just next to a street with lots of traffic = very noisy. No real aircon - just a fan in the roof. But friendly staff and an ok comfi room.

Nice hotel with quiet and really clean rooms. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. Very good location, in the centre of Viareggio. I had a wonderful stay. Thanks a lot:-)
