The hotel isn't so good as I expected, but it is placed in a marvelous location. The people are very nice.

Le camere sono un po diverse dalle foto scattate sulla pagina web. Ci sono i cavi che fuoriescono dai muri, sopratutto in bagno e alcuni oggetti possono non funzionare, come nel mio caso il condizionatore. Ma l'educazione e l'accoglienza dei titolari rendono l'ambiente piacevole. Lo consiglio per un breve pernottamento a ragazzi giovani che non interessa il benessere.

We were in Viareggio for 2 days. The hotel was ok, but the cost/performance ratio wasn't realyy good. The breakfast was nothing special.

I proprietari erano simpatici, qualità prezzo non buono. La camera era spaziosa ma molto vecchia e non ristrutturata. I muri sporchi, tutti i fili della corrente erano fuori norma. Il posto dove è posizionato l'albergo è buono. In zona ci sono solo spiagge private, per trovare una pubblica bisogna spostarsi un paio di km.

This hotel would probably be an Irish 2*. It was quiet basic. We stayed on the 1st floor,the rooms are not sound proof, so it was a bit noisy 'til about 3 in the morning. Breakfast was fine

Zentrale Lage, Strandnah, große Zimmer billig und einfach eingerichtet. Service gut. Fahrstuhl stank fürchterlich. Dafür sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

I would stay here again. It is a basic hotel, nothing fancy but very close to where the carnival takes place. No parking offered. Breakfast is basic but OK. Heating in the room was running full blast so we had to sleep with the window open. We requested a king size bed and got two twins. The room was overlooking a dirty roof. But, all in all, for the price we paid, it was an excellent choice. If you prefer a four stars hotel, do not come here. This is more like a two star. But if you plan to spend all your time outside and just rest your bones here and have breakfast then it's an excellent choice.

Beautiful old grand hotel. Excellent location, close to beach. Breakfast was weak, but very helpful and friendly staff.

Reference to hotel being on "the most prstigious square" was misleading, giving the impression that the hotel was in the centre of town whereas in fact it was a long walk

The hotel was ok, I guess you can´t expect more for that money (well, the lift could have been better - it didn´t make it all way up to our room and smelled a lot like wet dog). But Viareggio itself was a huge disappointment - don´t go there if you think you wanna go swimming in the sea! There are only private beaches and the only place, were you are allowed to go swimming is way to overloaded with people!

The people who manage the hotel are very nice and friendly and the breakfast was good also. The hotel is also excellently located.

I had an amazing time in Viareggio. The hotel Lukas was exceptionaly well priced and located just yards from the clean, welcoming beach front. Would recommend it to anyone.....

The family who manage the hotel is very friendly and helping if you need something particular. The hotel is quite old and furniture is a little bit old-fashioned, but everything is really clean, bed are comfortable, there's no noise. The bathroom is clean and functional. The price could even be a little bit less...but it's high season and it's in the center of Viareggio. Breakfast is from 7 to 9,30....it's not so much if are on holiday.
