I booked an economy room thinking that it would be small with no view. What a surprise!!! Our room was a fair size, but the view could not be beat. We had a full on ocean view, which made any deficiency in the room a non-issue. The front desk agent, upon arrival, was very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was adequate, and our overall stay was just what we were looking for. i would stay at the Hotel Liberty again, and suggest it to others.

Have stayed at this hotel before and would stay again. The staff are really helpful and friendly and I find the location very convenient, for bus station, seafront etc. The buffet breakfast is excellent, ample and varied. The room for a single person was OK and I had a view as opposed to the previous visitbut the aircon could be better.

As a single traveller, I am used to inferior rooms. However, this time, I had a particularly pokey and plain one, which cost 80 euros a night! That said, the rest of the facilities were very pleasing. Breakfast was good with a very wide choice. Also noteworthy was the coffee maker, which could produce about 5 different kinds of coffee, all good. The public areas of the hotel are full of quaint art deco pieces. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful with good English. I enjoyed my stay but wish my room had been better value for money.

We were on our honeymoon. I wouldn't recommend Viareggio firstly. The hotel has a big lobby but the room was very poor and the smell in the corridoors was likey urine. We cancelled our second night and went to Pisa.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix ... pour l'Italie. Seule le débit de la douche était trop faible. Bon petit déjeuner

Everything was very nice and comfortable for a three star accommodation, but the nights were not very quiet because of the street next to the hotel, but it's no big deal! We were very content!

ENGLISH: The hotel is very well located and the staff very courteous. The room itself was spacious and with a lovely view. The decor was extremely dated though (lobby and room); we though we were back in the '70's!! But we can live with that. The biggest problem for us was the bathroom: I think it is fair to say that it was not as clean as we would have liked it to be. The biggest drawback for us was the shower. It wasn't really a shower but rather trickle (no pressure whatsover), which is an issue when coming back from the sandy beach!

Libety reminded me of many of the tired hotels in American coastal towns. Their lobby pictures were accurate but reflected the only recently renovated area of the hotel that I saw. The room was clean but a bit run-down. Window faced a wall. The front-desk staff were pleasant and helpful, and spoke english well. The location was terrific, right on the main street in front of the beach. I imagine some rooms even have an ocean view, too bad the single room rate doesn't seem to include it. Finding parking on the street was a nightmare, but once I found a spot I was OK until I left the next day. Overall, a pleasant enough stay, but nothing memorable.

Found the price to be alittle expensive, but in all fairness it was August and the hotel is right on the beach. Rooms were clean and well-equipped with A/C, ceiling fan, small balcony and private bathroom. The decor was nothing special and I was not a fan of the shower (don't understand why it was not enclosed - wound up flooding the bathroom everytime). Overall I enjoyed my stay and the hotel met the expectations I had prior to arriving. Remember to ask about discounts for the beach clubs.

As a first time traveler in Italy, I found the people to be very helpful and courtious. For the price of the room, I guess that the rooms in Europe are smaller. There was no parking around the hotel, it made for an interesting stay. If I had to book another hotel in Italy, I would look at a 4 star...possibly 5 in order to get parking and a less bare room. Thank you.

Reception desk staff made me feel really welcome. Very friendly and competent. A member of our party complained about a noise from outside but I did not notice. Considering the location and price, I would recommend the hotel to other visitors to this area.

Correspondence between advert and actuality was good, however, it was more expensive than other hotels we stayed at in the same star grade and they offered more luxurious furnishings, however the price may also refelect teh are rather than just quality of hotel.

The only thing that saved this hotel was the location right across the street from the beach. This hotel does not deserve the star rating it has. We traveled all over Italy and this was near to the last stop. This town is not an international tourist destination we recognized, however, it was highly over priced considering the plastic lawn furniture in the room, lack of staff skill to even recommend a restaurant or refer us to a grocery store (which we eventually found around the block), no glasses in the room, etc. Our Italian isn't great but we had no trouble at all with any of our other destinations which were often small towns. All around POOR value and we would return to this city.

Very accomodating. Basic no frills room was large and clean with two queen beds. We received a larger room because we have a three year old and we were not charged extra. They even let us park out front overnight. Highly recommended.

Quite basic, with very small bathroom. Fine if you want cheap and cheerful and don't plan to be there much. We stayed overnight which was okay - wouldn't want two weeks though.

Shabby and not very clean. No bugs, but just kind of dumpy. The rooms were small. Also, you couldn't leave the air conditioning on when you left the room, so it got very hot while we were out.

G enerally the hotel was reasonable value for money. The bathroom would have benefitted from a re-fit and more toiletries. Breakfast was pre-packed and poor. The staff were very helpful and accommodating - a real asset to the hotel!
