The room was not very spacious but the air-conditioning was effective and the showers powerful and reliable. Off-putting and not particularly friendly manager/waiter at breakfast. I felt that none of the staff would have put themselves out for us if we had had specific requirements. Very expensive for what we got. The hotel is in a quiet, pleasant part of town about ten minutes walk from the coastal drag.

We enjoyed our stay very much . The main criticism we had was on our arrival nothing at all was explained to us about the hotel or about our surrounding area. We had to keep asking for example what time breakfast was etc.We stayed for our summer holiday and as we hadnt stayed in Italy before it would have been helpful to have been given some advice about how to get onto the beaches etc.in the area close to the hotel. It took us quite a while to work it all out!Apart from that the hotel was just right for us.

Just restructured. Very clean and nice. The area is quite and parking is not a problem. Wellcoming and kindness of employees is exceptional. I paid 96Euros for a double room. I would say is a nice price for Viareggio. The city is exceptional, but the prices at the beach are very high.

How to reach Albergo Spinelli

By car
Take the Firenze Nord exit of the A1 highway and merge onto the A11 highway. Take the Viareggio exit, proceed along viale Mario Tobino to largo Risorgimento and then turn right in via Nazionale Aurelia Nord. Turn right and then left in via Nicola Pisano. Turn right in via Michele Coppino and finally left in via Trento.

By train
The Viareggio railway station lies around 3 km from the hotel and is easy to reach by bus.

By airplane
The Pisa airport is about 20 km from the hotel. You can either take the train or the bus to the Viareggio railway station and then continue by bus to the hotel.
