Very nice hotel for 1-2 nights, 30 min. by feet from the Arena and the city center, if you aren't frightened by walking it's the perfect hotel for visiting Verona. Staff was very nice and helpfull. I would certainly reccomend this hotel.

The hotel is perfect for either a short or even a longer stay. The center of Verona is within walking distance (15-20 minutes on foot) and the railway station can be reached by bus (15 minutes) or on foot (30 minutes). Spatious and clean rooms and nice staff (breakfast was not included)

We were happy overall and would recommend it to other people. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were great. However we were disappointed that we were not told that the direct bus service to/from Verona did not operate on a Sunday! We had walked to the city centre. We ended up having to catch two buses from Verona, after waiting around and figuring out something was wrong....with three tired children this was especially disappointing as I had spoken to a female desk personnel that morning about our journey.. Therefore I would recommend that it be made clearer to all residents alternate arrangements are required on a Sunday.

Nice stay in this hotel, it's 15 minute walking from the main attraction of the city and if you have your own car you can't use the parking of the hotel because there are a lot of spaces in the surrounding of the hotel. Very nice shower!

Highly recommend this hotel. Was much better than I expected. Bus right at the door and so easy to get around Verona, which is the most beautiful little city. I loved staying here. The staff were so friendly and helpful - best of the many hotels I stayed in during my visit to Italy. The castle which has a wonderful art gallery is well worth a visit. Is close enough to the arena to walk to it. All the main attractions are in walking distance if you catch the bus to the arena.

Hotel fulfills all what needed. From very kind people at reception through nice big rooms, very good breakfast, garage. Only not in the middle of the town, but 25-30 min. walk was not that bad. Recommend to everybody, especially if like quite areas of visiting cities.

Good hotel, 2 km from the Arena but easily reachable by foot or by bus. Verona is very small so you can walk to almost all monuments. My only critic would be that the internet access is very expensive (€15/day,)which is pretty outrageous in today's world.

We booked only one night, so we could not test everything, but the rooms were spacious, the bathroom clean and really pretty AND very clean. The staff was polite and nice. They also offer a shuttlebus to the arena, which is for free, otherwise you go by taxi (about 8 - 10 Euros).

The Montresor Palace is located a little bit outside the city centre. From the outside it looks a little shabby, but indoors you see it's a real 4-star hotel. Don't let the outside put you off. We had room 414 which is located in the corner of the building on the top floor, with no adjectant rooms, and quite a lot bigger than the other rooms. Perfect, make sure you ask for this room! The reception was welcoming and even asked if we needed an umbrella for the city walk 'cause it was quite cloudy, very thoughtful. The only minus point is that it's a good 25 minutes walk from the city centre.

The front desk staff was excellent! Very helpful and friendly. The staff at breakfast was HORRIBLE! They refused to refill the coffee pot or even pour a cup of coffee or milk, with 20 minutes left until breakfast was over. Nothing at breakfast was replaced when empty - when the food was gone they replaced NOTHING. Breakfast room staff was snotty and just plain nasty!

The hotel was excellent with good service to match the spacious rooms. Staff were friendly and efficient at all times and made our stay a pleasure. The only problem maybe the distance of the hotel from the centre of Verona, a significant walk in the summer heat. However, taxis were relatively cheap and made transport to the centre and railway station easier.

I was very surprised that hotel Palace has been rated as a 4* accommodation. On the arrival no one was present at the reception to great us. My partner has to find parking himself and after finding it underground was not able to find the way out as there were no indications posted at all. After finally checking in to our room, the room was exceptionally small, furniture old and damaged and air-conditioning system was not working which was quite inconvenient on +30 degrees in Verona in July. After taking shower I demanded change of the room, however lady who was far from kind and helpful explained that all rooms are similar size as ours, in fact we had one of the best rooms(!), and was questioning my statement tat air conditioning is out of order (however she was not willing to check it or send someone to have a look). After I insisted to still change the room, no one is available to help us move our stuff, so we gave up as we were staying only one night and were in hurry to meet our friends. We expected bar in 4* hotel to be open at 7.30 in the morning, however that was not the case. Overall, stay in Hotel Palace saws very disappointing and frustrating and highly recommend that you review advertising this accommodation on your website for the sake of your reputation. Best regards, Lana Fazlagic
