A bit of a walk from the city centre, but this is reflected in the reasonable price. Decent breakfast and a comfortable, quiet room.

We stayed for the first time at San Pietro and also in Verona. We booked a "family-room", which was very clean and large. The transfer to the opera was very well and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Excelent room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good too. The only thing that put me off and was very dissatisfied and disappointed with was the internet connection. Except the fact that you have to pay extra for the connection it was impossible to connect and the hotel staff did not know how to help!

This Hotel is to avoid. Employee are awful. The location of the Hotel is definitely noise. There is close to the Hotel the train line, very very crowed road 24H, and the cherry on the of the cake there is a machinery for production of cool regarding a local industry. If you go there with you girlfriend will be definitely a very bad start to spend time in this Hotel.

Situated where the road forks, the exterior does not tell the story of the interior. Great comfortable stay. Though not close to historic center, it is located close to residential neighborhoods. Within a a fifteen minute walk there is also a self-serve laundry at corner of Via Golosine and Via L. Prina. Most staff speaks English.

We booked into the San Pietro, but were moved upon arrival to their "sister" hotel as that location was full. The "sister" hotel is further into the middle of the island and if you don't pay very close attention, you may not find it the next day on your own. The room was nice, staff was nice but being moved in the dark spoiled part of the trip. We ended up not being in the area we wanted to be in and thought that we had paid for. For the price we did pay, I would have expected to be closer to St. Mark's square. I will not take this chance again. I would pay an extra hundred to be in the location I want next time.

Only spent one night here while attending The Arena. While I have no complaints about the hotel itself or service provided , I do have a problem with it's situation. While it is only 10 or 15 mins walk to Piazza Bra & The Arena, this takes you there by way of a pedestrian tunell under a motorway. There is a strong smell of urine in here and evidence of "nocturnal activities". I felt safer getting a taxi back after the performance. The hotel also runs a shuttle bus service before the opera. It is also very convenient to bus & train stations. Overall I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Verona.

This was a very nice hotel, though a distance from the hotel to the city. But the bus stopped right across the street, so this wasn't any problem. And the hotel provided transport to and from the opera/arena.We would very mutch like to stay here again.

When we arrived, we found that they'd just upgraded their hotel from a three star to a four. They were very welcoming and accomodating. The manager even called into the historic part of city to make a reservation for us a one of his friend's restaurants and called a cab for us. The breakfast was supurb and included in the quoted price on Venere.com--boiled eggs and a full buffet of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, meats and pastries. The room was lovely and very well appointed. Extremely quiet. When we saw how close the hotel was to the train station, we decided to walk there. It's a circuitous path that brings you by several abandoned buildings. The hotel itself is across the street form what seemed to be an abandoned factory. It is not a walking part of town as there's nothing of Verona to see there, but I would not consider it a particularly dangerous area. We very much wanted to rent a bike from the hotel to tour the historic area of Verona, which is very close, but we didn't have the time in the end and were able to see very little of this beutiful city. When we return, we will definately return to this hotel. Thank you for the lovely and friendly accomodations!

The interior of the hotel was very nice but we were disappointed in it's location. It was a little further away from the centre of Verona than we expected and as we had no car, we found it a bit inconvenient having to get taxis and the bus service was not great. Other than that we were quite happy with the service we were provided with and the staff were very helpful.

The rooms were modern, elegant, and very clean. We loved the room. However, we found the reception staff to be efficient but unwelcoming. The area is a bit difficult, as the hotel is situated where highways merge and there isn't much of a neighborhood. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room and nearby options for meals or just coffe were sparse. From the hotel description, we expected a shuttle to and from the opera. However, the shuttle was only available to the opera and our only option to come back was a taxi because the local bus system doesn't run a bus late enough to be viable. Bearing in mind the additional costs, we would stay here again.

Good business style hotel. We booked it for a night at the Opera in Verona and the hotel was very good. The room was very clean and we though the rate was very reasonable for the standard of accommodation. The front desk staff were not the most friendly in the world but that did not detract from out stay. There was a free bus into town for the opera. We walked in and out of the town but it was over main roads and wasn't the most pleasant. A taxi in to town was €7.00 so you would need to consider this when assessing more expensive hotels in the town. Breakfast was very good.

A friend and I stayed for two nights 17 and 18 July. We were very impressed indeed with San Pietro - the cleanliness, the incredibly helpful and polite staff, the lovely rooms, excellent breakfast. San Pietro, along with seeing Aida at the Arena, made our stay in Verona a memorable occasion. Thank you

The hotel is outside of the old town - about 20 min walk - and the surroundings are rather industrial since it is near the trade fair. But the hotel itself is in a excellent condition cause it´s been refurbished lately. I am usually very particular about hotels but this one is a really good value for money if you don´t mind a walk in the morning and a cap ride in the evening (8 Euro).

The property was further from the railroad station than suggested. It is located in a working neighborhood surrounded by old manufacturing facilities. While the hotel was an excellent facility, we suggest that it is better suited to business people who have direct business in the area or who have a car. The bus line suspends service for the night at around 9:30 P.M., thus one must take a cab back to the hotel if they plan a late evening enjoying resturants.

The San Pietro was spotlessly clean and adequately spacious. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located an easy 15 minute walk from Piazza Bra, the centre of Verona and about 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. Taxi fare about 8-10 euros. Highly recommended - would certainly stay here again.
