Hotel OK but poor location - industrial area - further from centre than anticpated with a poor bus service. Breakfast very disappointing / poor - hardly anything left when we got there (no fruit juice - had to ask for water). On this trip to Italy we stayed in far better hotels for less - not good value.

> poor breakfast offers (excluding the coffee, which is excellent) > location quite outside the center of verona (which we knew), bad bus connections (which we didn't) > parking lot full during nights (public parking nearby without any difficulties)

We stayed only one night, we had reservation for the Opera La Boheme at La Arena di Verona. As it was on a Friday after work we arrived to the hotel very late. The hotel is located in an industrial zone very close to the highway (you will need a car or taxi, the train station is not close). From the hotel (by car) is very easy to get to the heart of Verona, only 3 minute drive. Breakfast was OK. Good attention. You can park for free in front of the hotel.

Badly situated, out of town in an industrial place, but no particular noise. You need a car to go around, the parking inside costs 5.50€ per day!!! Nice buffet at breakfast, although not original and everyday the same. The restaurant was closed. Employees are not very kind. OK for 2-3 days. Quick story: I forgot 2 dresses in the hotel unfortunately, and I am still not sure I will get them...

Triple room with old forniture but spacious. Bad service in breakfast and breakfast buffet finishes too soon. Far away from city center.

It was extrelemely easy to find the place! This is quite rare in Italy. The breakfast was more than we expected. It was a pity that the shower and the WC was at the same place and it was not easy to use the shower not to wet the WC.

Good, basic hotel. Close to the autostrada. It's only real drawback is that it is in an industrial zone of the City. However, access to the city centre is easy, especially if you have a car. Staff were friendly and courteous.

Positive: Rooms are air conditioned. Nice restaurant. Negative: Location not shown correctly on maps. Poor surroundings, noise problems on weekdays? Poor or no public transport to downtown Verona (Arena)

My stay in the hotel was related to the lyrical season and reservations I had made in december 2005 for Aida and Carmen. The hotel is a bit too far from the center however there are buses to go to the main train station and from there other buses take you downtown. Time table not great no buses after 9.30pm, taxis are not that expensive main difficulty is to find a taxi after the end of the "spectacle"

Terrible Hotel ... there are lots of hotels of this price in Verona. I don't know where did they buy the stars!!!!!!

Almost everything was ok. There was a misunderstanding on the price of the room, which was settled when we asked. The distance from Verona requires bus or car, unless you are interested in the nearby "Fiera". We read complains about air conditioning and room spaciousness in comments from previous customers: both were very good in our opinion.

The hotel is located in a industrial area. If you exit the autostrada A4 the hotel is easy to find. But should you try to find it coming from down town Verona you might have a challenge on your hands. The room I staid in was very tiny but clean and I got a good night sleep. I used the hotel for only one night, and the breakfast-buffet (included) was good and all you need in the morning. I can not speak for the typical Verona tourist, but can imagine that the location of the hotel might not be ideal to visit all the historic places in Verona. Would I stay in this hotel again? Yes, if I use it only as a place to sleep and be close to the highway. Clean and reasonable priced. But I would definitely ask for a larger room!

The hotel was hard to locate, because we arrived in Verona from the north west, and could not link up with the information we had, which was relative to the Autostrada, passing the southern city boundaries. The bus service to the city mid-morning was non existent, and we thought the counter staff should have informed us of this fact when we arrived at the hotel. Restaurant food was a good standard as was the service

We had thought that there would be a better public transport system to get from the hotel to the city centre. The milage given in the description must have been to the edge of the city rather than city centre. There was public construction work going on outside our room in the hotel, I know this was not the responsibility of the hotel, but it ment that we cut short our stay in the hotel.

When booking the room I thought that the hotel is closer to the City Centre than is actually is. The internet add says "... bus 50 m away", but it doesn't say that the bus does't leave till after 12.15 and that it doesn't go to the City centre (but to the train station). Using the garage should be free og charge.

Useful if wanting to visit the Arena during opera season - cheaper than most places in Verona. It is a long way from the Arena but there is bus/taxi service. Everything else I tried was already booked.

This hotel was in an idustrial area about 3 km from the toutist city center. We had a car, so it was no problem getting to the center, but without a car it would have been inconvenient and there are no facitilities (bars, restaurants, etc) anywhere close to this property. However, the rooms were very clean and the service was very pleasant. For the price, it is an outstanding hotel, but guests need to know that it is isolated and requires a trip into the center.

We thought the hotel was nearer the Arena than it was, that meant us getting two buses and taxis to the opera as the bus service finished very early. Breakfast was nothing special, no fridge or bar in the room or ice/drinks machines anywhere which would have been nice to have had after coming back from the opera.

We were given a twin room when a double was booked. The room had been previously used by smokers, and still smelled of stale cigarettes. The shower room design is a complete no-hoper, requiring you to paddle across a wet floor to get to the loo. The shower has a wrap-around shower curtain that flaps and clings - horrid! The location is in a light industrial area - guests are dependent on their own cars or taxis (walking or using public transport to get to the city centre are non-starters). Staff were efficient and friendly, but this is essentially a hotel for business visitors. If you have a car it's very convenient for the motorway, and easy too for access to the heart of Verona. In summary, functional, but that's it.
