The hotel rooms were clean, nicely decorated, modern, and quiet. We requested rooms on the courtyard rather than the street side. The service was excellent and helped us a lot in where to park the car, and the best ways to enjoy our concert at the Arena. The breakfast was also very good. The hotel exceeded the standard.

I was in a room in a floor with works in progress. The carpet of the corridor was torn, some walls had cement on sight. The price was low, but not so low for a stay in an ugly room.

the hotel is perfect, but it is not located in the historic center as you could figure in the announcement a little walk and we were in the center ,although, did not need to take the car

I was looking for a hotel with a garage for my car. While booking on-line, it said that the hotel has a garage, but it did not warn you that you need to reserve a garage space in advance. I guess you are then also charged additionally for the service. The website booking system should work out this service in more detail to make life easier and less stressful to visitors. As for the actual hotel, it was clean, quite and provided all necessary things needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was rather disappointing, though!

A cold shower was not what I was expecting when I arrived back to my room late one night !! Good Position to the old town, friendly staff. The lift needs to go all the way to the top floor - rather a "drag" for luggage !

Cramped rooms, Breakfast was often not replenished, Front desk service during the day was good but language problems at night. Hotel was hard to find from the web site. It was a major problem to locate. Access to Old city was good and you can park the car and walk from there.

The hotel is sighted a short 10 minute walk the the city centre. The rooms are clean and adequate in size, though not particularly well appointed. The biggest negative was the noise, as the rooms are not well insualted against noise from plumming,(flushing of toilets and showers etc) people talking in the corridors and even in adjoining rooms. We had 2 but very sleepless nights. Breakfast was very dissapointing and not worth the effort of getting up, especially if you are not first to the breakfast room as all the limited food is gone quite quickly. However, if you are on a budget, the locality to the old town is useful.

Very pleasant stay. Everything was excellent. Rooms in perfect condition, stuff friendly and helpful, very clean, breakfast buffet great. Three things were not so good. The door to the shower is way too small for big people. You cannot stop the airconditioning machine (but you have the possibility to take out the fuse that's within your room while sleeping). Rooms going out to the street are very noisy (Rooms going out to the back are silent). I can recommend the Hotel.

The location of this hotel was at least 20mins walk to the centre of Verona and I felt that for the price paid this was a bit far. The rooms were comfortable but very small. The staff were helpful and breakfast was substantial. Not sure that I would return to this hotel due to value for money

Very warm host couple....Hard working and accomodating. The property is just across the river from the Centro....maybe ten minute walk. We never got the a/c working right....but it was probably more our fault than anything else....We just never found the thermostat until the next morning. The only negative was waking up to a huge tour-bus group. If that happens....make sure you beat them to the breakfast.

Really nice hotel with helpful staff. The night porter was kind enough to help me out with my feeble Italian. I even proposed to my girlfriend in our hotel room! The only very, very small minus point is that the hotel is a small walk away from the centre of Verona.

I only needed a place to sleep, however this place made my stay enjoyable and accomidating even when I was only expecting very little. The food was just as everyone said GREAT. It definitely exceeded my standards for the price and location I needed. It actually ended up being even better because my friend whom I was meeting only worked around the corner and made it quite convenent for him andI to meet. I'll definitely be using this place again this summer.

Welcoming, helpful staff. We needed a triple, and they gave us a roomy, albeit a little old-fashioned, suite. Very quiet despite being on the street side. The best part was the free use of the hotel bikes! We used them to get to the center and explore the area. It is a 10 min. walk into the center, very manageable, but a lot more fun on a bike. (Especially for an 11-year old child.) Breakfast buffet was the best we had anywhere.

Very displeased with our recent stay at Hotel Italia. Rooms were very hard to get in town because of the furniture and design convention, so we had little choice. Decor looke dlike it was from the 1960s, and the price was very excessive for the facilities given what we paid in other cities for much more charming and distinguished hotels. the shower did not drain properly, the air did not work well and the plastic furniture was poor. the location was also very far from the center of town. The only positives were the staff, who proved helpful, and the breakfast. Would never stay there again.

About 15 min walk from old Verona which really is not a problem. Rooms are nice, especially the one I had with a balcony. The road outside is busy, but the double-double glazing deals with that. Some parts of the bathroom were starting to show their age a little, but otherwise very good. Breakfast is also very good. Would stay here again.

We stayed here on two diffent occasions. The first time we had a large quad for four teenagers to share and a very very small room with a double bed. The hotel has a very convenient location, although the first time you try to find it, you almost certainly will get lost. We walked past the door several times without noticing it, even though I had read that it was had to find. Breakfast was OK, although the coffee was great. The rooftop patio was nice, but almost always crowded. The rooms have no view whatsover, and the patio view is nice, but not worth paying extra for. This is a third and fourth floor hotel without a lift. The second time we stayed at the hotel, we had a separate one bedroom, newly renovated flat on the ground level, a short distance away from the hotel entrance. It was far more spacious. No view. For breakfast we had to walk down to the hotel entrance and then up the four flights of stairs. Friendly staff, but not always helpful. On the first stay, out AC did not work well and the staff seemed to be concerned but no effort was made to remedy the situation. Overall, I would probably look for other hotels in Venice that are a better value.

Room was a little bit old fashoioned and cabinets and flooring were very simple. Elevator only till 3rd floor. Direct at main road but rooms in the rear are quite. Excellet for visit of the Arena because you can go back to hotel at a 10 minutes walk. No taxi ( what you will never get after opera is needed. Do not forget to buy your picnic before you go to arena, a butcher and a baker is next door! Realy good for a night or two

The location on the map showed by reservation is absolutely not what it is. We had chosen this hotel due to the short distance tot the Arena. We had to take a taxi everytime because it was on another location as shown. We feel a little bit cheated by Venere. The quality of the hotel was OK.

Nice two rooms together(2 + 1 bed) ( room nr 62) with one bathroom, perfect when travelling with small kids that have to go to bed early, at the same price as regular trippel room! Good space in the rooms. Wery good breakfast, lots of good bread, ham, cheese, serials and cakes. Surroundings with local shops and restaurants, always nice when travelling with children. Hotel and room were very good - quite a long walk to the centre (about 15 mins in flat shoes(!) but felt it was a safe walk for my daughter and I even quite late at night.)Facilities good but reception not quite as friendly as we'd had in other parts of Italy - a bit too 'professional' and no offer of help with heavy suitcases for 2 'sad' females up the few stairs before being able to use the lift. Good to be able to use Internet for reasonable charge, breakfast was good and the 'fast food' facility was interesting although we didn't use it! Generally would recommend for the cost in an expensive city! Supermarket just down the road if you don't want to use mini bar!!!!

Trying to find the Hotel from Brescia Airport in the dark after travelling for several hours was horrendous. The area is poorly signposted from the airport to the motorway. A larger, clearer street map from both motorway and other roads would have been helpful. We eventually arrived at 01.00 hours after arriving at Brescia at 2230 hours! I found the whole experience stressful and a larger map would have been useful. Thanks to people leading us through Verona streets we were eventually led to the Hotel.

On the second day of our stay, while we were watching the World Cup, we had some type of power failure in our room for almost the whole day. No one came to fix it, and the front desk was not very helpful. It also took a while to have a lightbulb replaced in the bathroom, which was very gloomy and dark. We also thought there was a restaurant or a bar at the hotel, but there wasn't. It would be nice to at least be able to get a drink or a cup of coffee during the day or in the evening. The hotel's location was fine, although not as close to the historical center than we thought from the map and the Internet. It would have been too far if my 80-year old mother would have accompanied us. On the positive side, the breakfast was fantastic, the rooms were large and clean. We also appreciated that they were willing to put an extra bed into our triple when my daughter's friend arrived. Finally, the hotel staff responds quickly to questions over the Internet. My overall feeling is that the hotel was o.k., but not great.
