Hotel Italia - Verona

The hotel is very well located, within a 5 minutes walk to town. The air conditioning in the room is too loud, the shower too small, but paprt from that, it was a good choice. the breakfast buffet is very varied. The staff is correct but could have been more welcoming. the surroundings are very quiet.

The staff (who all spoke excellent English) were extremely helpful, especially in getting me a fabulous seat at the opera. More than 30 minutes walk to the railway station but not far to walk to the old centre of town. Breakfast was excellent - with a special table of food for people like me with Coeliac - most appreciated!

Our tripple bedroom was just below the roof and big enough for our short stay. And to the old town it was just a short walk. For Italy the breakfast was good.

Nothing disappointing regarding the hotel, its location and employees, the old city of Verona,... Everything was perfect! Only one remark: a quite expensive price may be due to the situation (you walk only 15 mn to join the very historical center of Verona). Such a nice city!!!

I traveled Italy for 6 weeks, this was the only Hotel during the entire trip at which I was unhappy. The room was tiny but worst than that, while we asked for a non smoking we got a room that stunk of cigarette. The refrigeratoe didn't work, so we asked to be fixed. The employee they send to fix it, while we were away, actually smoked inside our room and left the cigarette but in the bathroom. When we asked the reception about explanation and asked to come to our room to see and smell what had happened, they refused saying that had no enough people to take care of that. I told them, that I could not sleep in a room full of fresh smoke. They said it is the only room we have, so you have to sleep there. At the same time they will not go and inspect the room. We packed and left the Hotel that same night, and went looking for a different accomodation. Again I like to point out that this was the only time in all our 6 weeks trip, when something so horrible happen to us. The Hotel is Orrible.

The hotel rooms were clean, nicely decorated, modern, and quiet. We requested rooms on the courtyard rather than the street side. The service was excellent and helped us a lot in where to park the car, and the best ways to enjoy our concert at the Arena. The breakfast was also very good. The hotel exceeded the standard.

Hotel pulito e accogliente, molto vicino (10 minnuti a piedi) al centro storico di Verona

L'hôtel est très bien. A 15 mn à pied du centre historique de Vérone. Possibilité d'avoir un parking dans l'hôtel, et c'est bien utile. La chambre triple était spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. Par contre l'accueil certes professionnel aurait pu être plus chaleureux. Mais surtout le manque d'insonorisation entre chambres est problématique, surtout si les voisins souhaitent faire du bruit à 3 heures du matin.
