A nicely maintained hotel and very centrally located, but on a relatively quiet small street. TV, A/C, WiFi connection all worked well. Breakfast buffet was fine, though not exceptional. The only [small] criticism I have is that the walls seemed a bit thin (e.g. could sometimes hear a bit of flushing/shower sound, voices of neighbours), but that didn't disburb me much. €148 a night (single with breakfast) in late September seemed a little pricey at first. But considering the quality and location, it was still reasonable.

The staff were wonderful there - very helpful. Full of advice and good tips. The twin room was like the pictures, if you stuck your head out the window you saw the Arena at the end of the street, great location. The bathroom only had a shower but was impressive. The wardrobe did not have enough hangers. Nice touch with housing keeping checking your room twice a day.

The hotel was very welcoming and the staff was very friendly. We did think our room a bit small, but it was practical and wel furbished. the proximity to the Arena was lovely. We could visit the opera and even eat afterwards on the Piazza Bra and then walk home, but we also could visit other interesting places and go to our romm in between to rest. We stayed in Verona three nights and found the city safe and clean with kind people.

We stayed at this hotel in August as my son was getting married in Verona. It was a fabulous hotel and the staff could not do enough for us. The location is superb - we only had to walk a few yards and we were at the arena. Plenty of good local restaurants - the best one was situated next door to the hotel so very convenient. We have recommended it to our friends and family.

Excellent hotel in the middle of town but not noisy. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Room very good with own balcony, the only downside is that it overlooked everyone else's back windows, but a nice place to sit. Verona far exceeded our expectations, lots to see and very easy to get around. Lovely hotel for a weekend break, we will be recommending it to friends.

Great location! Walking distance to all the history sites. About 7-8 euros by taxi from the train station. Our family of 3 were there on vacation. At first, I was concerned because we were given a ground-level room off the breakfast area. Despite the location, it was very quiet and a LARGE space.

Centrally located in old quarter of city very conveient for Arena, and other main sites of Verona. Room was very well appointed with kingsize, comfortable bed. We were on vacation to see the central sites of Verona and this hotel is in a fabulous location on a relatively quiet side street, perfectly situated to be in the old city. Staff were welcoming and very friendly with clean and relaxed atmosphere. Evening noises went away after the late dinner hour so it wasn't too much of a problem. It's no worse than I'd expect in a city center and was mostly jovial voices rather than autos. We Great meal at the family trattoria a few doors down. I would highly recommend a stay here!

This was a very nice hotel in an excellent, central, location for exploring old Verona. The staff were very friendly and were happy to humour my stumbling Italian, although equally happy, and able, to speak good English. There was no traffic noise at all but at times we were aware of noise from other rooms (particularly above ours) and from the plumbing. The hotel provided us with a free parking permit and we were generally able to find a parking space near by without too much difficulty. Lots of things to see and good places to eat within easy walking distance. This hotel provides good value for money and is thoroughly recommended.

Ideal location for visitors like us who were using public transport to travel in the Veneto and within walking distance of most of Verona's attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for adequate accommodation in the centre of beautiful Verona then the Giulietta e Romeo is the place for you. Some may consider it expensive but the location is perfect for Verona sight-seeing and concerts at the Arena. The hotel staff are professional, helpful and considerate, and language was no problem. Wonderful hotel but very difficult to locate even with mapquest directions. Hidden in a maze of narrow streets that are not marked. We stayed this hotel for four nights. The frontdesk was friendly ,our request to change the room with bathtab was accepted, gave us maps of sight-seeing and tips of the restaurants. The room clean and comfortable, regretly rather small as usual in Italy. Bath water kept hot and enough, the breakfast good enough but not the best. Excellent hotel for what we paid in December, though it might be a different story in the summer high season--not sure if noise or air conditioning would be an issue. The location is hard to beat: a block away from the arena and the main shopping street. The bathroom was en suite but had a bizarre half shower "door" that didn't really keep the water from spraying around during a shower. Pretty minor in my mind. The breakfast--for a 3-star hotel--was the best we had in Italy. More than ample for this American.

The room was okay. We had a room with balcony on the streetside with their hotel logo in neon-lights attached next to our window. No problem though, their was a roll-down shutter (in dutch 'rolluik') so no one in the room went blind. The bathroom (without bath in our case) was of normal size, except the showercabinet, which was very small! But summarized; functional when you do not irritate on it much. If you stand on the balcony, look to the left, you can see the Roman Amphitheater at the end of the street. Very cool view! The reception personnel recommended a very good restaurant 'Greppia' (completely italian) where they go to theirselves as italian. Normal price, very good service and cooking. (Not so typical touristic with chinese personnel, but original italian kitchen) We went to Verona on the 18th of Novembre, price 120 eur for one night with breakfast. (Breakfast was excellent with extended choice) Internet computer costed 1 euro per 10 minutes. In other hotels, like Hotel Berna in Milano, the internet computer was free of charge (but maximal 20 minutes continously, just for giving other guests an opportunity).

A most charming hotel just steps away from everything there is to see in the city. The one drawback is, as in any italian city, lack of parking. We were offered a resident's pass to park on the street but there was absolutely no parking spot to be found in the vicinity; we ended up paying 20 Euros per day in a private parking. Everything else was just great!

This room was the most expensive room I stayed in during my trip to Italy. I had high expectations of luxury. The tiny room did not measure up to my expectations. It was clean, the shower pressure was good, the breakfast was better than most and the staff were friendly. The hotel has an excellent location in Verona. The breakfast buffet was average to below average compared to similarly priced hotels I have stayed at. I did not think the price of the room was commensurate with the quality of the room and services provided. I expected more from the hotel, but had a very pleasant stay. I got the impression the room rate has more to do with the hotel location than services provided.

Excellent location ( 70 yards from the Colosseum and Piazza Bras ). The hotel's totally delightful, friendly, English speaking and energetic staff contributed to making our stay in Verona an almost perfect experience. Great breakfast buffet as well. Would whole-heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the incredibly photogenic city of Verona.

Located in the heart of Verona, 2 min. walk to the Arena and just behind the crowdy shopping street, on an unbelievable quiet street. Staff was very friendly and English speaking. You can also choose to park free with a special permit given from the reception. An excellent choice. Not to speak about its name...
