After notifying the desk that another guests dog had urinated in the hall, the mess was not cleaned by the time we departed the next day. Additionally, that guest was allowed to let their dog crap in the walkway in front of the building. An event my wife discovered when she stepped in it due to the poor lighting.

The space in the room is really big and with one big balcony which is good for people who do laundry, but it takes 15-20 minutes to go to the city center buy bus. The buffet breakfast is great!!

The motel is excellent, but very away from the city. The hint wasn't correct, you need a city map, if you go with public transportation.

The hotel was a bit old and shabby, but the room was OK and the front desk staff really helpful. We chose this hotel as we were en-route from Austria to Florence. If you want to go to the city centre it's best to drive - too far to walk and this hotel isn't on a main public transport route.

Verona is withput a doubt the splendid and ancient city of lovers. You can feel the messages of love floating in the air. This was my first time in Verona and I can´t wait to get back into this breathtaking city!! The Euromotel Croce Bianca offers a great service and it's really near from the city center. For me, it's an excellent option to stay when in Verona!! (They gave us the Barbie´s room - really magical to rest and enjoy with my Ken!!!)

We stayed three nights in Euromotel for first time. the staffs who work at the reception are all warm-hearted. they speak good english and they showed us the correct and clear instruction of the public transportations. there is a big supermarket nearby , only 2 minutes by walking. and it is easy to reach the city center and train staion by 15 minutes bus. bus number 33/90/13 can take you to public transfer easily. we highly recommend this hotel to you.

I have stayed for leisure for three nights in Verona. The staff didn't offer any map, i.e. makes some difference to whom give it or not, but other questions on tickets, markets, etc. was well explained.

When you check in to Euromotel Croce Bianco you will already be aware of the hotel's only drawback, which is that you need to catch a bus to get to the city centre. The buses only come every 40 minutes, but the front desk has the schedules so you need not stand at the stop too long. In every other way Croce Bianco is wonderful, much better than you might expect from an Italian hotel at this price (if you're familiar with budget Italian hotels). Rooms are large, air conditioned, equipped with fridges, and both CNN and BBC are on TV. Breakfast selections are excellent, much better than average. The staff is top-notch--friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. It's a family run hotel, not a chain, and I think that makes a big difference. Two computers are available in the lobby for free Internet use. Wireless is not free at present, but there is a free LAN cable in the lobby for a laptop. I would recommend Euromotel Croce Bianco to anyone and will certainly book here again if I return to Verona.

This hotel is a good combination for visiting Verona and also the surroundings because you can easily park your car and the bus stops are nearby. Good and friendly advice ad the front desk. Shower was broken but it was repaired immediately; great service. We missed good Italian coffee at breakfast.

Good place to stay if you have a car and need to park away from Verona. Also easy to get to from train station by bus but some 3 kms outside Verona. Not many restaurants close by so travel into Verona at night is required and buses are infrequent.

We were a party of 4 (husband, wife and grown up son and daughter). The hotel is far away from the historic center, but in a good location to reach it. The staff was very helpfull in giving us information to move arround. This was very important because the street signs and indication in Verona are very confusing.

Hotel is a bit outside the historical center of Verona, if you arrive via car it's near perfect. Very close to the autostrada, a 5-minute-drive to a parking-lot outside the centro storico and a hotel that is very service-centered with an above average breakfast for Italian standards, very good rooms and a perfect price-quality-ratio.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, greeting us with a smile, instructing us with directions to get to the sights in Verona, and recommending a restaurant. The hotel itself is very pleasant. There is a small play-corner with toys for small children near the reception area, and a computer (presumably with internet, we didn't check) which can be helpful for guests. Breakfast was good as well.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is convenintly lacated in a suburb of Verona. Easy to from the airport in a rented car. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel going to the city. We chose to leave the car in the hotel and take the bus rather than to hussle with local traffic and parking in the city. The hotel staff, fluent in English, was very helpful, plesant and knwoledgable. Definitely recommended.

Directions very clear. Price reflects location out of centre. Being on a main road into Verona makes it easy to arrive and get away by car. Not so easy if travelling by public transport. Some basic restaurants available fairly near, including one "biological" one, where you eat what you like with a fixed charge of €15. Strangely, the single room had three single beds in it. Dated decor, and every noise in the next room can be heard. The reception staff were very helpful.

This is a great, affordable place if you have a car. It's easy to find, the employees are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. It's not close enough to the downtown area to walk, but it's a very short drive, and they'll show you just where to park for the best access. We would stay again.

Although the hotel is not new, it is comfortable for staying and the staff are very helpful. The price performance is very good in comparison with the others available and you can have free internet access. One thing worth noting is that the address should be entered as Strada Bresciana in some of the navigation software instead of Via Bresciana. I would suggest the hotel to update the map so as to indicate clearly the navigation from the city center area.

The price of this hotel was wonderful. The layout of the room was a bit funky and not very feng-shui. But, as a mom who was tired and needed a bit of her own space when traveling for hours in a small car with 4 young children (incl. 2 toddlers), I was very happy with the size of the room. There was a wall dividing the 2 king-size beds (whoo-hoo!) and tiny alcove (looks like it was once a kitchen), where we put our baby's playpen. The room was also large enough that our whole family could comfortably eat our dinner, which we purchased at a nearby grocery store. After a day of traveling, we were too tired to go to a restaurant. The staff was small, but they worked hard and were so courteous and nice. The room's decor was a bit out-dated, but I didn't care because it was very clean and quiet! It was kinda like staying at Grandma's house in the country. The public areas, however, were stylish and updated. Breakfast was filling and sufficient. The hotel is about 1 km from Verona center, but we didn't mind because we had a car. Also, fronting the hotel were 2 bus stops with regular service to Verona center. In summary, the price and large room made our stay AWESOME.

This hotel has a very good staff, very kind at the welcoming and always trying to help us with doubts about facilities and city tips. The rooms seem to have been redecorated and they are very quiet, but the bathrooms are not as confortable. The worst thing: too much distance to the city- center and not much too see in the surroundings

We were disappointed with this hotel. We stayed in many other European cities and paid a similar rate for much nicer, cleaner hotels. The room we had was tiny and dingy. The bathrooms were not clean - the grouting in the shower was mouldy. At first I thought it was just black in colour, but when I ran my nail along it, and mould scraped off. Revolting! It was all over the whole shower alcove. Breakfast was ok, but after the shower, I kept thinking about the cleanliness of the plates, etc! One positive is that the staff were friendly and gave us a map and directions to parking near the Arena. Also, there was plenty of parking on site which was good.

It's a little far from the downtown. But never mind, there's a busline just in front of the motel and it can leads you to the centre at most 15mins. All receptions are good at english, that's a good news for foreign tourists. The room is so big...we offered a triple and the staff gave us a quadruple with 6 beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies!!! That's really a suprise. Breakfast is wonderful. We three are all like the motel.

Very clean and friendly staff with a good command of English. We got there after a ten minute bus ride and a 15 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel and were checked in quickly and were asked to return after freshening up for more details of the area. On my return to the desk i was presented with a bus time table and a map of where to catch buses from the hotel and where to get off in the city centre and atourist map of all the walk route with all the sites and W/C locations. Buy the 3 day Verona pass its cheap at 12euros and you easily recover your money by visitig 3 to 4 sites and bus rides. got to lake como only 6eruos return and 10 minute walk to the bus stop, buy the bus ticket from the tbacco shop acroos the road from bus stop.

Very good hotel, much much better than we expected for a two star hotel. The service is absolutely outstanding, on our first day the receptionist spent an hour with us over a free welcome drink to explain the bus service and to give tips on which places to visit. We were given loads of helpful brochures to familiarise ourselves with the area and help to decide how best to spend our time during the 4 days we were there. Nothing was ever too much trouble, I was even given the loan of a personal umbrella when it looked like it would rain a little. Bus tickets available in hotel, breakfast excellent and several good restaurants nearby. Staying in this hotel definitely added to making our stay in Verona one to remember for a long time! I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

We stayed in a family room (2 adults, 2 early teens) and were very pleased with it. Front view, leafy car park and city. The hotel is easy to find (directions excellent) and well connected by bus to central Verona. Room spacious, comfortable, well appointed bathroom. Good tv reception (important if you have children!) And they were able to plug in their Playstation, which wasn't always the case in other Italian hotels. Good advice about taking the car to the Arena's performance: easy, safe, convenient to get back after a long, hot night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet. Car park free, safe, in front of the hotel. Area environs typical suburbia, anonymous but safe. The only down side was that due to the humid heat the a/c wasn't working at full speed and thus the room could have been cooler, but it was still comfortable sleeping. Make sure you leave the blinds down before you leave! Would recommend this hotel to anybody! If you go to the Arena and have un numbered seats, start queuing up around 7pm, once you are let in, it doesn't fill up until 8-ish. Sit as high up as you can to catch any breeze and be prepared to be herded together by staff. Drinks, etc. are horrendously expensive, so bring your own. Loads of people ate/drank their own stuff there. Great fun but hot!

An unpretentious hotel that is great value compared to a lot of the alternative on offer in Verona. The staff are friendly and helpful; as we were booking in we were offered a free upgrade from a quad room that we'd booked to two doubles because we'd arrived on a quieter day. We had our own car and location 3km away from the centre of Verona meant that it was easy to park (and free) while still being only a short drive (or bus) away from the centre. The staff also have good tips on best places to park when going into Verona.

Good value, friendly service, free car park and close to Verona. There are various bus stops close to the hotel and only EUR1.20 by bus into the city centre (or 10 tickets for EUR10 if bought in advance), so didn't need to drive into the city. A taxi back from the opera was EUR12.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at on our trip - for a triple room, they gave us two adjoining rooms, each with its own bathroom and comfortable (all twin) beds, so we were not squished into a double room with 3 beds as on all other triples on this trip. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and they had free internet access in the lobby, also a rarity. Breakfast was excellent and served until 10:30. The hotel is a bit older and its furnishings are not particularly elegant, but the air conditioning and showers were fine, sound proofing was excellent, and it was well situated and easy to find. We would stay there again.

The hotel is a bit worn out and in need of a renovation. Having said that, the rooms are quite comfortable (the bathrooms a bit less) and the staff is very knowleadgeble and incredibly professional, of the kind you always wish to find when you travel. I would definitely go back, as this hotel overall offers excellent value for money. Last thing: this is a motel, which means that if you don't have a car you are somewhat in the middle of nowhere, with only two restaurants at walking distance.

I stayed here for one night as a stop over on my way between Milan and Venice. It was quiet and clean and was fine for my purposes. This hotel is outside of the city, in an area I would consider suburbia. Higlights - the staff eg. Bjorn, Beatrice. Very helpful. The Lowlights - very strange smell in bathroom, chambermaid left previous occupants hair clumps in bathroom, couldnt open window and there was no fresh air in room [did I mention that there was a strange smell in the bathroom ??], bits of the furniture falling off. What I should have paid attention to was the location - my fault - its about 15 mins from Piazza Bra by bus - there are 4 buses that go past at different stops which is excellent BUT at night, in the dark, when you dont know where and when your stop is - it got too stressful. I recommend this place if you have your own car. The streets around the hotel are very safe, and there is a supermarket across the road behind the hotel.

Place is nothing special but seems reasonable value for money. Location is reasonably convienient - staff are very helpfull - we wisely followed their advice to drive to the city for the opera - we found a parking space very close to the arena and as a result the journey home was a piece of cake compared to a taxi.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was good value; no balcony but a view over open space towards the mountains. The bathroom fittings (shower etc) were not up to luxury hotel standard but were OK. The satellite TV was mainly German and Italian (no English). The continental breakfast was not exciting. If you have a car, the location is good for getting into Verona and also out of it onto the autoroutes. Overall, good value for money.

Easy to get to by car, plenty of on site parking and no problem driving to centre of verona or finding free parking thanks to help of hotel staff, hotel looks a bit dated and decoration a bit tired. Staff multilingual and could not be more helpful.

Nice and quiet mature guests coming for culture experiences in Verona and the surroundings. We met many people as described above, but also travellers staying for one or two nights.

Very nice rooms with a/c, breakfast was good, the receptionist was helpful beyond belief, is fluent in most European languages and was worth the stay alone. It is located outside the city centre, but can be easily reached via autostrada.

We want to acknowledge Beatrice, the person who checked us into the hotel. Beatrice was extremely welcoming and friendly which was particularly refreshing after a long day of car travel. She provided us with maps, directions, suggestions for nearby restaurants and gave us great tips for our trip to Venice the next day. She even went out of her way to find us a coupon that would give us a discount on the parking garage in Venice. We stayed at a number of hotels during the course of our trip and she was by far the best hotel person we worked with! We hope all of your guests have an opportunity to meet her.

Very good instructions for going to the hotel. Hotel is in the outskirts of Verona, so you'll be dependent on bus/car for going to the center. Regular bus service, so not that big a problem. Very friendly staff.

We stayed for two nights in this nice hotel. Price is ok. Staff extremely friendly and the rooms are clean and big. Breakfast is perfect (continental buffet with watermelons and other fruits). If we visit Verona again we will stay in Euromotel Croce Bianca.

The service was great, although it was only one person working at night. There was no room service or stuff life that, but the people that worked there were extremely helpful; I can't say that enough. Things were made easy because there was a bus station right outside the hotel. it wasn't directly downtown Verona, but it was quiet, and the rooms were clean. Plus the price on Verene.com was way cheaper than the price other sites offered, for the same room. Overall a pleasant stay.

It was the first time I stayed at Hotel Euromotel, that could be easily found by staff of tourism office and tram driver. Excellent services that made up strong impression, it was a pity that we had bought "1 euro" gift from hotel while there was nothing we could leave for other clients. Next time, if we go to Verona will borrow our gifts.

This was our first stay in Verona. The hotel is in an industrial area and a bit difficult to find even with the navigation system in our car. Unfortunately, since we were there on Easter Sunday, the bus service to town was not operating. We drove around the city for nearly an hour before locating a parking facility with available parking space. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The lobby and breakfast rooms were clean and attractive and breakfast was very nice. Overall, a nice hotel but the cramped room for 4 did not leave us with a good impression. Our so called quadruple room was small even for 2 people. Our teenagers had to sleep in a bunk bed arrangement where the top bunk was raised from the bottom on metal extensions that locked in place but did not seem adequate to support the weight of our 17 year old son. We will probably try to stay within walking distance of town in a larger facility if traveling to Verona in the future.
