Had a very pleasant stay. Yes, its far enough from the center, but there are buses, taxes (that not much expensive - about 10euro in the late evening). Once in Verona - I will definately stay there again.

The hotel is a bit far from the center, in the evening you may have to wait half an hour or longer for the next bus. All the rest is very good.

Large and clean room. Excellent breakfast. Toys for children. Easy to find and not far from the center by car. No WiFi access but 2 free internet points near the reception.

We stayed in a spacious 4-bed-room, whose standard was not up to date. really not more than 2 stars. Breakfast was good. We were excellently helped and even brought to the meeting-point, when we got on a river-rafting excursion.

This is a great, affordable place if you have a car. It's easy to find, the employees are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. It's not close enough to the downtown area to walk, but it's a very short drive, and they'll show you just where to park for the best access. We would stay again.

Although the hotel is not new, it is comfortable for staying and the staff are very helpful. The price performance is very good in comparison with the others available and you can have free internet access. One thing worth noting is that the address should be entered as Strada Bresciana in some of the navigation software instead of Via Bresciana. I would suggest the hotel to update the map so as to indicate clearly the navigation from the city center area.

The price of this hotel was wonderful. The layout of the room was a bit funky and not very feng-shui. But, as a mom who was tired and needed a bit of her own space when traveling for hours in a small car with 4 young children (incl. 2 toddlers), I was very happy with the size of the room. There was a wall dividing the 2 king-size beds (whoo-hoo!) and tiny alcove (looks like it was once a kitchen), where we put our baby's playpen. The room was also large enough that our whole family could comfortably eat our dinner, which we purchased at a nearby grocery store. After a day of traveling, we were too tired to go to a restaurant. The staff was small, but they worked hard and were so courteous and nice. The room's decor was a bit out-dated, but I didn't care because it was very clean and quiet! It was kinda like staying at Grandma's house in the country. The public areas, however, were stylish and updated. Breakfast was filling and sufficient. The hotel is about 1 km from Verona center, but we didn't mind because we had a car. Also, fronting the hotel were 2 bus stops with regular service to Verona center. In summary, the price and large room made our stay AWESOME.

This hotel has a very good staff, very kind at the welcoming and always trying to help us with doubts about facilities and city tips. The rooms seem to have been redecorated and they are very quiet, but the bathrooms are not as confortable. The worst thing: too much distance to the city- center and not much too see in the surroundings

We were disappointed with this hotel. We stayed in many other European cities and paid a similar rate for much nicer, cleaner hotels. The room we had was tiny and dingy. The bathrooms were not clean - the grouting in the shower was mouldy. At first I thought it was just black in colour, but when I ran my nail along it, and mould scraped off. Revolting! It was all over the whole shower alcove. Breakfast was ok, but after the shower, I kept thinking about the cleanliness of the plates, etc! One positive is that the staff were friendly and gave us a map and directions to parking near the Arena. Also, there was plenty of parking on site which was good.

It's a little far from the downtown. But never mind, there's a busline just in front of the motel and it can leads you to the centre at most 15mins. All receptions are good at english, that's a good news for foreign tourists. The room is so big...we offered a triple and the staff gave us a quadruple with 6 beds, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies!!! That's really a suprise. Breakfast is wonderful. We three are all like the motel.

very clean and friendly staff with a good command of English. We got there after a ten minute bus ride and a 15 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel and were checked in quickly and were asked to return after freshening up for more details of the area. On my return to the desk i was presented with a bus time table and a map of where to catch buses from the hotel and where to get off in the city centre and atourist map of all the walk route with all the sites and W/C locations. Buy the 3 day Verona pass its cheap at 12euros and you easily recover your money by visitig 3 to 4 sites and bus rides. got to lake como only 6eruos return and 10 minute walk to the bus stop, buy the bus ticket from the tbacco shop acroos the road from bus stop.

Very good hotel, much much better than we expected for a two star hotel. The service is absolutely outstanding, on our first day the receptionist spent an hour with us over a free welcome drink to explain the bus service and to give tips on which places to visit. We were given loads of helpful brochures to familiarise ourselves with the area and help to decide how best to spend our time during the 4 days we were there. Nothing was ever too much trouble, I was even given the loan of a personal umbrella when it looked like it would rain a little. Bus tickets available in hotel, breakfast excellent and several good restaurants nearby. Staying in this hotel definitely added to making our stay in Verona one to remember for a long time! I can wholeheartedly recommend it!

We stayed in a family room (2 adults, 2 early teens) and were very pleased with it. Front view, leafy car park and city. The hotel is easy to find (directions excellent) and well connected by bus to central Verona. Room spacious, comfortable, well appointed bathroom. Good tv reception (important if you have children!) And they were able to plug in their Playstation, which wasn't always the case in other Italian hotels. Good advice about taking the car to the Arena's performance: easy, safe, convenient to get back after a long, hot night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast buffet. Car park free, safe, in front of the hotel. Area environs typical suburbia, anonymous but safe. The only down side was that due to the humid heat the a/c wasn't working at full speed and thus the room could have been cooler, but it was still comfortable sleeping. Make sure you leave the blinds down before you leave! Would recommend this hotel to anybody! If you go to the Arena and have un numbered seats, start queuing up around 7pm, once you are let in, it doesn't fill up until 8-ish. Sit as high up as you can to catch any breeze and be prepared to be herded together by staff. Drinks, etc. are horrendously expensive, so bring your own. Loads of people ate/drank their own stuff there. Great fun but hot!

An unpretentious hotel that is great value compared to a lot of the alternative on offer in Verona. The staff are friendly and helpful; as we were booking in we were offered a free upgrade from a quad room that we'd booked to two doubles because we'd arrived on a quieter day. We had our own car and location 3km away from the centre of Verona meant that it was easy to park (and free) while still being only a short drive (or bus) away from the centre. The staff also have good tips on best places to park when going into Verona.

Good value, friendly service, free car park and close to Verona. There are various bus stops close to the hotel and only EUR1.20 by bus into the city centre (or 10 tickets for EUR10 if bought in advance), so didn't need to drive into the city. A taxi back from the opera was EUR12.

This was the best value hotel we stayed at on our trip - for a triple room, they gave us two adjoining rooms, each with its own bathroom and comfortable (all twin) beds, so we were not squished into a double room with 3 beds as on all other triples on this trip. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and they had free internet access in the lobby, also a rarity. Breakfast was excellent and served until 10:30. The hotel is a bit older and its furnishings are not particularly elegant, but the air conditioning and showers were fine, sound proofing was excellent, and it was well situated and easy to find. We would stay there again.

The motel was wonderful. Breakfast included and was great. Motel managers were extremely helpful and I would highly recommend this motel even though it is a ways from downtown, it is worth the walk from the bus stop. Staff couldn't have been nicer. We were here for our son's wedding and after touring other places in Italy, found this motel to be the best we stayed at both in cleanliness and politeness.

Don't worry about the fact that it is only 2 stars hotel. It's very good with very good price and good breakfast (included in price). It would be much better if they would be renovated. The hotel is a bit worn out and in need of a renovation. Having said that, the rooms are quite comfortable (the bathrooms a bit less) and the staff is very knowleadgeble and incredibly professional, of the kind you always wish to find when you travel. I would definitely go back, as this hotel overall offers excellent value for money. Last thing: this is a motel, which means that if you don't have a car you are somewhat in the middle of nowhere, with only two restaurants at walking distance.

I stayed here for one night as a stop over on my way between Milan and Venice. It was quiet and clean and was fine for my purposes. This hotel is outside of the city, in an area I would consider suburbia. It is accessible by bus but you will be at the mercy of the bus schedule, so I suggest that you check the bus schedule before booking. It wasn't too much of a problem for me.

Higlights - the staff eg. Bjorn, Beatrice. Very helpful. The Lowlights - very strange smell in bathroom, chambermaid left previous occupants hair clumps in bathroom, couldnt open window and there was no fresh air in room [did I mention that there was a strange smell in the bathroom ??], bits of the furniture falling off. What I should have paid attention to was the location - my fault - its about 15 mins from Piazza Bra by bus - there are 4 buses that go past at different stops which is excellent BUT at night, in the dark, when you dont know where and when your stop is - it got too stressful. I recommend this place if you have your own car. The streets around the hotel are very safe, and there is a supermarket across the road behind the hotel.

Place is nothing special but seems reasonable value for money. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was good value; no balcony but a view over open space towards the mountains. The bathroom fittings (shower etc) were not up to luxury hotel standard but were OK. The satellite TV was mainly German and Italian (no English). The continental breakfast was not exciting. If you have a car, the location is good for getting into Verona and also out of it onto the autoroutes. Overall, good value for money.

We want to acknowledge Beatrice, the person who checked us into the hotel. Beatrice was extremely welcoming and friendly which was particularly refreshing after a long day of car travel. She provided us with maps, directions, suggestions for nearby restaurants and gave us great tips for our trip to Venice the next day. She even went out of her way to find us a coupon that would give us a discount on the parking garage in Venice. We stayed at a number of hotels during the course of our trip and she was by far the best hotel person we worked with! We hope all of your guests have an opportunity to meet her.

The service was great, although it was only one person working at night. There was no room service or stuff life that, but the people that worked there were extremely helpful; I can't say that enough. Things were made easy because there was a bus station right outside the hotel. it wasn't directly downtown Verona, but it was quiet, and the rooms were clean. This was our first stay in Verona. The hotel is in an industrial area and a bit difficult to find even with the navigation system in our car. Unfortunately, since we were there on Easter Sunday, the bus service to town was not operating. We drove around the city for nearly an hour before locating a parking facility with available parking space. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The lobby and breakfast rooms were clean and attractive and breakfast was very nice. Overall, a nice hotel but the cramped room for 4 did not leave us with a good impression. Our so called quadruple room was small even for 2 people. Our teenagers had to sleep in a bunk bed arrangement where the top bunk was raised from the bottom on metal extensions that locked in place but did not seem adequate to support the weight of our 17 year old son. We will probably try to stay within walking distance of town in a larger facility if traveling to Verona in the future.

Receptionist was excellent - above & beyond call of duty by taking us personally to a car park in the middle of Verona after she had finished work. This was invaluable. Hotel location difficult to find.

Quite a way from the centre of Verona but the bus stops almost right outside and takes about 15 minutes to get to the main part. Receptionist was very helpful and explained all about the buses, gave us timetables and showed us some places we might like to visit in Verona. Very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Verona is a beautiful city and well worth a visit. I would certainly use this hotel again if i was to return. The 1 & 3 day Verona passes are woth getting, it gives you free bus travel and entry to all of the places of interest listed on the back including the open air arena and castle.

For the price paid: an excellent hotel; we had 2 rooms (a double+single) for the price of one. Good beds, friendly and very helpfull staff, good breakfast, nice outside terrace for a drink with friends (B.Y.O.), we had our own car but took the nearby bus into town, the staff advised us a perfect parking-lot in the city centre- where the car was safely parked till 2 AM (after attending the Arena for Aida)! We have very fond memories of Verona and our Italian hosts at the Euromotel Croce Bianca - and we will surely be back soon!! M. de Vries, Hilversum, Holland, and J. van Baalen, Nieuwerkerk, Holland.

Myself and my partner are travelling across Europe and we can say after staying in about 20+ hotels the staff at the Euromotel were the most helpful we've experienced. The breakfast is excellent as well. It is ideally located for trips to Lake Garda.

Perfect location if you drive a car. Mid-way between the city center and autostrada. The staff was very helpful with advice on the parking in the downtown and mapping the tourist attractions. Highly recommend for those travelling by car in Italy as we did.

Good value accommodation a little out of the historic part of Verona. I would say having a car is definitely required. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Basic rooms - warm and clean, simple furnishings. Nice breakfast.

We chose this hotel on website recommendations. It is well above 2star rating. We were warmly welcomed and treated by the family who runs the hotel and given very helpful information on services, restaurants and attractions, including a "secret", cheap parking facility used by locals, in the city area. Great breakfast. We were shown and given a choice of rooms on arrival. If you want to try something different, ask for the experimentally decorated room, with ancient ruins' frescoes on the walls. It has a little entrance hall separating bedroom and bathroom and its own, privately accessed garage. We would definitely stay there again. Michael & Carol - Australia.

I THOUGHT THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD FOR WHAT YOU PAY. THE ENGLISH SPEAKING RECEPTION STAFF WERE MOST HELPFULL WITH IDEAS FOR DAYS OUT, BUS TIMETABLES, etc. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, CLEAN AND WELL FURNISHED. THE ONLY DRAWBACK WAS THE THIN WALLS, SOMETIMES I COULD HEAR PEOPLE/TV IN ADJACENT ROOMS. ALTHOUGH A TWENTY MINUTE BUS RIDE FROM THE RAIL STATION (EVERY 15mins M-F,FALLING TO EVERY 50mins EVES & SUNDAYS), IT WAS EASY TO GET TO/FROM. WILL BE MY 1st CHOICE IF IN AREA AGAIN.

A nice property suitable for our needs but a little remote and not too easy to find. Room was spacious and facilities adequate although noise from adjoining room was a little annoying. Good to have a supermarket nearby and transport to city was reasonable with bus-stop only a short walk away. Staff were particularly helpful..suggested restaurants both locally and in Verona which turned out to be excellent and also very detailed tourist information offered. Would happily return if visiting Verona in the future.

Very comfortable, clean and quiet. The hotel is a bit far from the city, but this was not much of a problem since we stayed only one night and had a car. Maybe a bit too far from Verona if you plan to go there every day, and defintely too far if you don't have a car. We had a very pleasant stop-over in Verona.

We enjoyed our stay here...mostly because of the staff, which was so nice! The room was very clean and very spacious. Simple decor. Large/working elevator. Breakfast was great. But the best is the dinner recommendation from the hotel ... there is a small restaurant(Del Gal) in the neighborhood withing walking distance of the hotel. The place was fabulous! All handmade pastas and a very good price!!! It was the best meal we had in Italy! Divine! We did not go into Verona...this was a drive pitstop between Venice and heading to Tuscany. But we did venture to Lake Garda and were very glad we did. It was beautiful! The town of Garda was very nice, with a multitude of places to eat and shop. Got great leather deals there as well! All in all, this was a great place to stay.

Located a bit far from centre, but Verona is not very big, so it's only 10 minutes with car to the centre and the concierge gave us good tip for cheap parking in the city (€ 5,20 a day). Free parking places in front of the hotel. Computer with internet access in lobby for free. They gave us 2 rooms (one double, one single) without extra charge. I didn´t understand why, but it was very comfortable, we could use both bathrooms and saved time in the morning. Rooms with a reasonable size, bathroom a bit small, but ok. Everything very clean, new towels every day. Reasonable prices in the minibar (€ 2,-). Corridor a bit small and dark. Breakfast ok, but no wide selection of bread and no Nutella :-( Could be a 3-star-hotel too. All in all: 2.7 stars.

The receptionist spoke English which made our welcome and check-in very pleasant. We were given a welcome drink upon our arrival and a choice of different rooms, being provided with keys for a pre-inspection before making our selection. The hotel had some rooms that sat over an enclosed private parking space accessible only through your individual room. We selected one of these. The popularity of this property was evident because of the number of late afternoon check-ins. The location was perfect as it was only a ten minutue drive to a public parking lot near the town center. We were provided a map and great directions to the lot. One caveat: If you are attending the opera in the Arena most restorantes charge an additional cuperto(cover charge) and servisio(gratuity) for post-opera reservations. This can very expensive as we found out. Try and have dinner before the performance even though it may be early by Italian standards. (pre 9 PM) Breakfast was plentiful and the staff was very responsive to our needs. The room was spacious and quiet. An Italian version of an American Holiday Inn. No 5 star but certainly deserving a 3 star superior. You can't go wrong with this property!!! We stayed one month in Italy and in several properties so this review is based on numerous comparisons.

This hotel was so spacious compared to hotels in the city centre. The staff were wonderful - everyone gets a free welcome drink of their choice. We stayed here because we were going to the opera, and staff provided us with the bus times and sold bus tickets (which can't be bought on the bus itself). The bus stop is just across the road. Taxis were more expensive in Verona than Rome or Florence, but it was still cheaper to stay here and pay for transport into the city than to stay in Verona itself. Another advantage was that the rooms were very quiet.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bus service into town convenient but dont use 31 or 32. 13/90 takes you into Arena in approx 10 minutes. Local LaL Gal Tratoria they recommend at the desk is cheap and excellant quality of food. No written menu though. Great Pasta, best we have had.If you are going to Opera reasonably easy to get taxi from Arean or if you ask at desk they will tell you where to get late night bus. Opera does not finiah to approx 01:00. Good location for visiting Lakes not that we did as there was plenty to do in Verona.Breakfast ok for Italy, never understand why a country that produces fruit uses tims of the stuff but they are not alone in that.
