Orange Motel Hotel - Vergiate

This is a good choice for a hotel with a shuttle to Malpensa airport. There are others closer, but the reviews for shuttle reliability were good here and we were not disappointed. There are not restaurants within walking distance for lunch, but Hotel Italia next door serves a decent dinner. The rooms at Orange are clean and modern. Breakfast is included and was adequate.

One of the new crop of modern hotels that is growing around Milan Malpensa Airport. Most require a taxi journey or a 10-20 minute drive by rental car to reach, as many have shuttles but you may arrive too late for their schedule for them to come get you. In the snow it took me 25 minutes to reach Orange Hotel Motel - normally it would have been an easy 10-15mins. However the quality of the Orange hotel, being a small, friendly, high quality hotel, is better than many of the others. Itb is mini-boutique quality, but without some of the pretensions boutique hotels sometimes have. It has a welcoming atmosphere and a charming lady who welcomed me well after midnight when my flight landed late. Rooms have individual aircon, nice bathrooms, a decent amenity kit although I did not manage to find a shower cap that was the only thing I could have wanted more - even 2 small emergency toothbrushes were provided in the amenity kit. Breakfast slightly better than many in Italy, machine coffee but of a reasonable standard. I was quite happy with it as even top end hotels in Italy often serve really poor breakfasts and I thought Orange with their friendly atmosphere did nice enough. Some rooms are also motel rooms in that you can park your car directly outside - so Orange Hotel or Motel - you have your choice. I shall be returning.

If you want to be near the lakes (Maggiore,Como,etc.) or need someplace to overnight near Malpensa-- this is it. The rooms and fittings are of a quality that one usually finds only in 5-star hotels. It is a bit off the beaten path,if you have no car but for the airport their shuttle is quite useful.

Best place as a stay during longer trip. We were heading Toscana.

I only used the Motel for a stop-over on the way to another destination but it was ideal for that - modern, comfortable, but also small and fairly friendly. Breakfast was good. The lake wasn't too far away - I just didn't find the right path! The free shuttle was the main attraction for me and worked very well - the family seemed to deal with this, and I was collected and dropped off more or less when it suited me. With an overnight stop I can't give a comprehensive assessment on all the facilities and whom this would suit.

Es un pequeño hotel situado cerca de Milan, en una zona muy tranquila y acogedora. Nos sorprendió mucho su calidad. Las habitaciones son grandes y los baños perfectos (el nuestro tenía ducha con hidromasaje y un yacuzzi). Los empleados muy profesionales y agradables.
