The location and the period features were great as was the pleasant and helpful staff. A good sized room but in need of brightening up and maintenance, (the light fitting was hanging on its wire and the light in the bathroom was very wobbly)the bed and pillows feel as though they are made of foam sponge and made for a very uncomfortable night. Air conditioning would be very welcome also. The room also had a very poor outlook over the service yard.

Staff was friendly and welcoming and hotel location was excellently placed in the middle of Verdun with many dining options available. Room was large and easily accomodated my family (including 15 month old in baby cot). Only complaint was that the floors were a bit squeaky.
