Hotel Pallanza - Pallanza, Verbania

Nice reception staff

Very charming older hotel in a great location. Our room (305) had a balcony that overlooked the lake which was right across the street. Neither parking or breakfast is included in the nighty rate quoted and both are extremely over-priced if purchased from the hotel. However there are a limited number of free public parking spaces available in the neighborhood, and we had little trouble finding one. We took breakfast in nearby cafes and bakeries for about 7 Euros each. Overall we were very pleased with the Pallanza and would recommend it to other travellers.

Room was clean but too small. We took a triple one and hardly could move. The problem of the hotel is the management - terrible people, withdrawing and unpleasant. The hotel was full on Easter holiday and, aparently, many people came for a breakfast inthe morning what was completely news for the staff. They were uncapable to serve and provide sufficient amount of food. If their attitude was different the impression would be much more positive.

The hotel is right on the lake front, everything is as described, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Pallanza has also a couple of very reasonably priced restaurants named in the Michelin guide, both within a 5 min walk, just ask the front desk.

This is our second stay at Pallanza, and we were extremely pleased again! This is a beautiful hotel with outstanding service and extremely helpful employees. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay on Lake Maggiore and have a breathtaking view!

Excellent hotel. Were luckily upgraded to a lake view room. Staff helpful and very friendly. Would recommend trying to get a lake view room as the view is fabulous

Fantastic location and view, close to ferries and restaurants, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Lobby and restaurant beautiful but rooms small and some of the decor a bit tired.

Perfect Position forwhat we needed, hich was a quiet resting holiday. Close to a few reasonably priced restaurants, and on the lakeside albeit had to cross the main (not very busy) road. Perfect position for the ferry and access to the islands. Hotel staff very friendly. Room clean and well presented, only dissapointment was we had a back room facing a wall, guess we should have splashed out on a lake view room! Excellent otherwise.

A lovely quiet, spacious room with delightful views over the lake. Staff were charming. There is only a very small terrace for the use of residents and the rooms don't have balconies, but there are plenty of bars and cafes very near if you want to sit and enjoy the lake. Didn't eat in the restaurant as the menu was designed with German visitors in mind.

We found the hotel very good - the restaurant wae excellant but found that on three nights we had to go to their sister hotel for dinner which was a very noisy hotel and although the service was not as good still had to pay the same price. All in all this was our only complaint

Very pleasant staff, it was the first time I stayed at Pallanza hotel and use Venere service and I m not disapointed, It was perfect. Thank you.
