Hotel Belvedere - Pallanza, Verbania

-We had to pay some extra charge for the third bed in one of the rooms, we didn´t know before. Our friend, who booked his room directly in the hotel page, when we arrived it wasn´t booked, and its price was increased. At the end the staff tried to help us, and it wasnt neither a big trouble nor a big extra money, and we paid more but all of us had the breakfast ( + 75 euros, but including the six people breakfast )

Cannot praise too highly. We booked room only but the hotel not only included an excellent buffet breakfast but upgraded us to the their sister hotel (the Pallanza). The staff were brilliant and the situation perfect, being right on the lakeside and two minutes walk from the ferries. We did not hear any sounds from adjoining rooms. Superb!

A great 3 star hotel with a very nice location in Pallanza and excellent relationship between price and quality. Very well positioned to make excursions. Not too touristic. Our room was big with good windows that isolate the noise from the street. The staff at Belvedere made our stay even more enjoyable. We will make more holidays at Lago Maggiore and than for sure stay at Hotel Belvedere in Pallanza.

Pleasant atmosphere, clean and quite, excelent breakfast, professional service.

Excellent location beside the boat station (no care required). Reception staff excellent and helpful with a smile. Our room overlooked the Lake, which was well worth the extra money. The only critiscism was the breakfast, I think the hotel could offer more that cold hard boiled eggs every morning!!! Overall Very Good experience.

Hotel molto bello in una posizione incantevole. Personale gentile e competente. Stanza grande, vista sul lago mozzafiato.Unico neo: e' la prima volta che, chiedendo di stare 3 ore in piu' per fare una doccia dopo la gara di corsa tenuta la domenica a Pallanza, mi sono state chiesti 20 euro in piu'.

The hotel is located at the most strategic place of Palanza, riht in front the embarcadere to any place on the lake. employees are really helpfull. Do not forget to book for a car park with hotel because local public places are rare and expensive. Rooms are comfortable but restaurant is quite expensive comparing with neighborhoud.

Beautiful hotel in great location just across from lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this to friends.

We stayed at Palanza hotel as Belvedere closed in winter.

The Reception staff were very warm and welcoming. The hotel was located in the centre of the town so very convenient for boat trips to other parts of the lake but quite far from the train station. A little noisy in the evening but good double glazing meant this wasn't a problem. I would recommend avoiding the restaurants along the "lungomare" and heading inland towards venues frequented by the locals!
