C'est un hotel magnifique, la vue est spectaculaire, piscine, salle de gym, accueil chaleureux par la famille. Je n'est que des commentaires positifs sur cet hotel. La chambre aussi était superbe, avec vue sur la mer..conseillé!

September 2006. Lovely hotel, with what would have been an amazing view from 1000 feet above the water if it had not been cloudy. But a difficult drive up the hill. We had originally requested a larger bath/shower for my large husband. When we arrived we were upgraded and given a large front room with terrace. The toilet and bidet were spaced very close to each other and the walls and left little room to stand or sit. Seeing a can of Raid in the bathroom cupboard should have been a big clue. I found small ants crawling on dirty clothes the next morning. Keep things off the floor. Getting to this hotel is a challenge. The directions I had took us on a 5 km hair-pin turning road up the hill. We found out there is a 2 km road going in the other direction. Not an easy drive to get to town, but the shorter one would be better if staying in the area. We ate at the restaurant our one night there because of the road. (Wouldn't want to drive at night!) Food was good.

Lovely place to stay - good food, great view and fabulous service. Just be careful on the road up (and down), lots of winding turns on a very narrow road.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. It was scary winding up the street to the hotel but the view was an absolute dream. The food was excellent and the staff was more than competent and very welcoming. They extended their arms to us as if we were their family. Watching the sunset light up france and monte carlo was unforgettable. We will be back!

The hotel was set high on a promontory which offered fabulous views, but access was by a very narrow, steep and twisting road. The room was clean and well decorated, but small and the bathroom very cramped. The poor access road did not encourage straying far from the hotel to find other restaurants so we ate in the hotel and found the food to be very mediocre and very expensive.

The views are spectacular (providing it's not raining) and well worth negotiating the drive up to the Hotel. The staff were all extremely competent, friendly, helpful and professional and the food excellent. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time – but too brief.

The hotel has a fantastic setting high in the hills above the town with distant views of Monaco. Once you are used to the drive up the narrow winding roads, the hotel is a great place to relax by the pool and the staff / family make you feel very welcome. The food is also excellent. The one item to be aware of is that our room, although kept very clean was fairly small (but adequate) and the bathroom was long and very narrow. Overall because of the quality of our stay, we very much hope that we will be able to return in the future.

Our reception at the hotel was worst than poor.The owner and her son were very off-hand and if it wasn't for the late hour of our arrival we would have gone elsewhere.We asked for an additional small bed in one of the rooms and the answer was a categorical no. We tried to reason with the owner but she was adamant and very unpleasant. In all my travels and hotels I have stayed in, this was the worst reception I have ever encountered. The place in photos looks OK but in reality it is an environmental mess. The road to get to the place is a driver's nightmare. I will make sure to tell my friends to avoid this hotel like the plague. They should be struck off the list.

Service and hotel is very good. There is a one lane road to get on top of the hill to the hotel - be aware of dangerous trafic situations.
