If you are visiting Venice and have a car this is a fantastic place to stay if you do not want to stay right in Venice. The rooms are great as were the staff. It has a great pool and the restaurant was reasonably priced with great food.

Before we booked and came we had asked 3 times for the duration of a bus trip from and to Venice and were told about 20-30 minutes - actually it is ~50 minutes ! even due to the bus time table but the lady welcoming us at the reception insisted telling it is only 25-30 minutes when there is less traffic...and gave us the opposite telling bus time table. Our room No 34 was extremley loud - we had to listen to every telephone call at the reception all interactions with people there... The cleaning stuff was extremely loud in the morning and woke us up every day.

Amazing place! Even though we had a bit of a problem with the automatic light on the second night. The man in reception was unhelpful, but in the morning the lady bent over backwards to sort it out and the rest of our stay was great. We really liked the restaurant and the staff were with the one exception mentioned, very professional and helpful.

This was my first time at the hotel, we arrived early and we couldn't check in. We left our baggages in a small room near reception and we went to Venice by bus. When we arrived back late evening our baggages were already in our rooms. The receptionist came with us and showed our rooms. They are realy friendly and attentive. Altogether it is a really nice and customer friendly hotel. I would come back happily any time. Also important - that the bus that goes to Venice is 1 minute walk from the hotel.

Initially this place seemed like a pretty good deal compared to the price of places in Venice. But when you calculate in all the "hidden" charges it wasn't so great. In the summer when you can make use of the pool it would probably be a better deal. The hotel is 40 minutes by bus from Venice and costs 2.6 euro per person per trip. There were two people so an additional cost of 10 euro per day and 1.5 to 2 hours transport depending on how long you have to wait for a bus. Also the breakfast wasn't included and so that's another 10 euro per person for breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel itself was nice and the rooms nice as well. The only complaint was the "double" bed was not a double. It was two single's pushed together and that didn't stay together. That was quite disappointing and annoying if you're there as a couple. If you only have a few days to see Venice I recommend staying somewhere closer or in the city. If you are staying for a week or more and traveling around the area or have a car then this would be an ok place to stay. When you book room only that means no breakfast. The breakfast also is not worth 10 euro. It was quite plain. Overall for the money I would say it's average but the staff was very nice.

Awesome Lido is even better than Venice. Away from the agitation of downtown but close enought to go there quickly. Eduardo is a very funny guy and has decorated the hotel with a great touch and attention to detail. Do get the more expensive rooms to be in a paradise mansion. We would definitely be back there!

Breakfast at 10€, a little bit too expensive for us so we have eaten our own food but the staff always try to cheat to make our coffees and 1 croissant for the buffet.

The facility is great - new and super clean. It is 45 min by bus from Venice core but you get used to it. Be sure to have the exact directions. Take the Mirano bus from Venice - not number 7 bus. Go almost all the way to Mirano centre - the villa is right on the road.

excellent ratio quality/price third bed in the room was really bad in terms of quality, however. This is the only main remark I have.

The service was excelente, the rooms were very nice, the hotel also and has a good price we had a problem the second day that was that a very important person was in the hotel and important person told the receptionist to change of room without telling us before so we where very angry. But the other day they paid us with a free breakfast

We loved this hotel! First, it was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and spoke English. The room was clean and nice, and had a very spacious bathroom with hot water (and a toilet seat!)There is a restaurant at the hotel and one down the street, within walking distance, as is the bus stop. The bus ride to Venice took about 30-40 minutes, not a bad commute at all. Mirano seemed like a nice area, and had we more time, we would have explored the area there too. A great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.
