An excellent first visit to Venice. Although the hotel is outside the centre for visitors with no transport there is an excellent bus service. There is a walk along a busy road side to get to the bus stop with a pavement a bit of the way and a bridge to allow access to the other stop. Arriving without a car with a fair amount of luggage would not be easy by bus but taxis are plentiful. We did not find this a problem.Bus tickets are available at reception. The information in room suggests the use of a shuttle bus but that does not now operate. The staff were very helpful, courteous, efficient and friendly.Breakfasts are buffet style with plenty of choice and the breakfast room very nicely set. The bedroom was very well looked after and we look forward to making a return visit.

A really good hotel, large but not a faceless wonder. The dining was excellent, if anything the menu (possibly because of translation) understated the quality of the dishes on offer. The hotel whilst on the mainland is just a 12 minute bus ride away.

The Hotel is ok in general, but it's an old hotel and it doesn't have pool outside or inside!!!

On the homepage they write, that there is a swimmingpool. But the swimming pool wasn't there anymore. The staff (different person) tells every day something else, why the pool doesn't exist anymore.

Nice Hotel, excellent service, good breakfast. Two small points: the mattress was broken and the desk staff was not very helpful

The biggest surprise for me was not having wifi connection in rooms and also wifi in hall, which you must pay and it is not cheap. All 4 stars hotels in Slovakia or Czech Republic have wifi, 99% in the rooms, and included in price. You should wake up, it´s year 2012.

Some of the amenities supposedly offered were not available. For example, shuttle service from and/or to the airport was not available. Also feel that internet services should be free. The dinner we had was okay but the service was very slow.

For 100 Euro per night , I'd expect more quality , also we just got bored of the same break fast every day , there should some change , not to just repeat the same stuff over and over ... The rest is ok..

Room was Spacious. Breafast is great with many choices. Location is a bit far from the city centre (1 / 2 bus stop from venice with 10 min. walk). Recommended if you are not with too much luggage.

It is a very tried old 4 star hotel that is in Mestre not Venice City. I typed in Venice City to stay at and this came up as being in Venice when it is not. It is in Venice region. Very good staff who have not so good management or owners.

beware, that diners club is not longer accepted in this hotel. the road at which the bus stop is located, is under construction so it is messy. you can park your car and that is excellent. Wifi facility has to be paid for and that is not up to standard for a 4 star hotel

Only thing that the pubblic transport was not totally close, 5min by foot to the bus stop. The hotel bus to centre was functioning only in the morning and afternoon, for a price of 4 euros. Nice park close to hotel.

In general hotel is nice, rooms were clean, tv in the room. We couldn't open a window so there was a strange smell. Bathroom was not clean enought. Breakfast was perfect, included in price. Bus stop is not so far from the hotel, but after 21 o'clock from Mestre Station there was no bus to get there. It's comfortable to take a taxi, it costs about 11 euro (february 2010).

The hotel is well locatedand and has very good rooms. Since the place is away from tourists' locations and has open park with jogging tracks in its back yard, we felt pretty good. From the no. of banquet rooms in the basement, it appeared popular for business. We were fairly satisfied with our stay and the overall hospitality except for plastic glasses in the room.

This is a fine hotel and the staff were very helpful. The only drawback is its distance from Venice. We had to wait by a busy highway for quite a while to catch the right bus. That allowed us to connect to the water bus and eventually to get to San Marco Square. Considering the advantage of a 4 star hotel at a very reasonable price, we didn't mind the extra effort. We spent 2 nights at this hotel.

If you have a car it is a very good hotel considering the room price.Without a car it is annoying to use a bus, which does not have great schedule (more than 20 minutes waiting everytime) and is not so close to the hotel as described. Also there is no sidewalk and you have to walk along the edge of very busy highway about 700 m to the bus stop. The AC in our room was not efficient and noisy and opening the windows was not good choice because of noise and bright lights outside. Brekfeast was good and in general it was a nice hotel, but I wouldn't return to this hotel because of the transportation problem.

When we arrived in the room, a plumber was busy in the bathroom to seal the borders of the bath. The smell (glue) was quite strong and stayed the ext day. There was also an horrible smoking smell in the room and the carpet was humid (probably water leaked from the bathroom). Air conditioning also delivered a terrible smell of dust and smoking. Surrondings are horrible (high speed way). Informations on transport to Venice given at the desk were not correct - it was not possible to pay the driver. Tickets had to be bought before using the bus. Breakfast was very good (the only positive point in the hotel). Overall we did not understand why the hotel has 4 stars - 2 are closer to the comfort and quality.

The hotel is perfect for tourists on a budget but wanting a bit of quality. Getting into the city centre was really easy (~2.50 / 3 euros return) via the bus just outside the hotel. We would definitely go back if visiting Venice again!
