Great price and a great location, just minutes away from St. Marks Square. We had Room #101, which has the steep spiral stairs up to the bedroom. Going up the stairs was a challenge every single time, with hitting your head on the ceiling a real risk. This room is NOT for the timid or tall! Everything was immaculate and the service was great. Great neighborhood for restaurants and souvenirs. I'd recommend this place to most vacationers.

We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute of it. If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in the centre of Venice at the right price then stop looking and book in here. I spent ages looking for the right place and I can honestly say i was so pleased I found this place. The owner Roberto was a pleasure to deal with and this is a true gem of a small hotel. Only a few rooms but all decorated with true Venetian style and customer service to match. Comfy bed, quiet in a little side street just 5 minutes walk from the main square. Loads of great restaurants nearby (You have to try Trattoria alla Rivetta just round the corner) and also close to the water bus stops. Goos clear instructions on how to find and a typical Italian breakfast. Really good coffee, Free Wifi, loads of advice, satelitte TV, en suite bathroom, lovely hot showers and I will stop there before I go on and on and on. Stay here and you won't regret it!

We can recommend this hotel, and especially the "economic room": it's spacious, it's clean, and with the steep wooden stairs up from the entrance and bathroom level to the bedroom it feels like a small apartment. It's been our 7th or 8th trip to Venice, and of all the small hotels we have stayed at, it's the one we'll try to return to next time. The only small weaknesses of this hotel (in our mind): breakfast buffet is very small (understandable: with just 5 rooms, providing more choice would drive costs up) and the breakfast tables are located just in front of the reception desk (again understandable: the receptionist is also the waiter is also the owner).

Excellent price / quality relationship. Rooms and hotel in general are very quiete and neat. Big advantgage is the ubication: just 200mtrs from Piazza San Marco and 100mtr from shore. I think the hotel offers one of the best options to stay in venice at a reasonable price. We will recommend it and surely will return.

The hotel is at the second floor without an elevator. But this is not a modern facility, it is an old building modified to accommodate customers. Everything which could be done without completely destroying the charm was done. Just perfect! The employees were very kind, helpful and discreet

We stayed three nights at the Locanda Correr. At first, it was a little bit difficult to find, due to being located in a small alley. However, after getting the first orientation it was very easy to find and very good located - only 5 minutes away to St. Marcus square. Furthermore, the hotel is newly renovated, therefore everything is working very well and very clean. Roberto, the owner, is very friendly and can give you good advice about where to go and what to do. I would definitely recommend to stay there, as it is very good value for money!

Traditional Venetian building. The room was comfortable, beautifully furnished, with all facilities. The locations is perfect for walking and public transport and the continental breakfast was great. Most importantly, the staff have been most helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Locanda correr is a very nice hotel located in the heart of venice. If you see the hotel outsite you`ll never expect, what nice rooms are there inside. It is very quiet and very very clean. We liked the owner Roberto very much. He was nice, friendly and answered every question with competence. It was really familiar and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Hotel was very hard to find, we were looking for a street and it turned out to be down an alley (but I guess thats Venice for you!). Not very friendly welcome, and its quite strange having the receptionist right outside your room door, but luckily we were upstairs so avoided some of the noise. On one morning they knocked on our door wanting to know when we were getting out of the room so they could clean it, otherwise it wouldnt get cleaned that day, which was a bit rude. Otherwise not too bad for cramped and crowded Venice. Would recommend not eating anywhere near the hotel, but instead heading over to the Rialto Bridge. Skip the restaurants with the multi language menus, and head to the other side of the Rialto Bridge - looks deserted but its not! you will find about four or five amazing restaurants right on the Grand Canal, and most imporantly they dont charge a service fee or cover charge, and its great food. We found that this was where the locals go. Cover charges and service fees are not standard in Venice, but you need to head away from those crowded areas to find a decent restaurant!

This is an excellent hotel. My wife and I spent 2 nights for wedding aniv. and it was perfect. So close to St Marks Square - very short walk. The hotellier was very helpful if you asked for help - otherwise uninterupted stay. We would definately go back again. We had a room with very steep stairs. This did not spoil our stay in any way, but you do need to be physically fit!

It was pretty difficult to locate the hotel when we first arrived, as the entrance is in a back alley, but once we settled in, we enjoyed our stay very much. The unique loft room, along with the very classic décor, really impressed us. The only downside was the difficulty in bringing our luggage up and down, but the staff were more than willing to volunteer to help out for that. The hotel is close to St. Mark’s Square, and I would stay there again if I return to Venice.

Locanda Correr has only 5 rooms but the owners give you the attention of a large hotel. Our room was large enough, the bed comfortable and quiet. We had the upstairs room where the bathroom is on another floor but connected to your room. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was excellent, just 2 minutes from St. Marks. We will stay there on our next visit to Venice and highly recommend it. For older couples the lobby is up about 2 floors from the street and there is no elevator. The owner met us at the street door and carried our bags.

Intimate and very private. Great value. We stayed in room 101 which is two floors but the narrow steep stairs makes it feel like you're climbing up into a tree house, it requires you to duck down as you climb, and is suitable for young svelte couples only. I hit my head five times., its nice though because you always hear the lovely sound of laughter right after.

The hotel was great, although difficult to find at first - but what isn't in Venice. It is very close to San Marco. There was a bit of renovations happening around the hotel but the rooms seemed to be soundproofed and it was exceptionally quiet.

Excellent hotel for the price with a good location and friendly staff. Our only warning is that we stayed in the upstairs room which did warn us that it was up a flight of narrow stairs. It was fine for us, but anyone who has any problem with stairs at all shouldn't stay in that room. The stairs were not to be believed.

We stayed in Venice only one night and the location of this small hotel was excellent for us. Close to the airport water transport, water taxis and St Marco and the Rialto bridge, and good restaurants. The staff was very helpful. We had what was probably their smallest and most challenging room, but we knew this in advance. We were advised it was not for the old or infirm. It is upstairs with a narrow stairway connecting us to the main area and the exquisite new bathroom. The ceiling is relatively low as it it is the upper floor but the view of the rooftops is charming. The bed was clean and comfortable and it was quiet. There is cable and A/C but we used neither. The breakfast was fine and the staff very friendly and helpful. They carried our bags down and let us leave them at the hotel until we left later the next day. The hotel itself is up 2 floors from the street and this could be a problem for some travellers, but this is not uncommon in hotels in Venice. Buildings are OLD and the streets small. It was a little tricky to find at first, but easy to locate once we were oriented. The value was very good as hotels in Venice are not cheap, and we only needed one night's accomodation. The communication was excellent and info regarding directions to the hotel from the airport was also good.

We had a great stay at Locanda Correr in Venice recently. We booked the Locanda through Venere.com as it seemed good value for money and we weren't dissappointed. After booking we received a confirmation email from Venere and we also received an email confirming our reservation and room details directly from Locanda Correr. The location of the Locanda is excellent a two minute walk to St Marks Square and it's in a busy area full of restaurants and cafes. To reach the hotel we followed the directions provided by the Locanda and found it quite easily. The street the Locanda's on looks like a narrow alleyway, by the entrance to the street is a fruit and veg stall. The Locanda itself is very small and on the second floor, unfortunately there's no lift. We paid 110 Euros a night in high season which is very good for the standard of accommodation and the location. The price was so reasonable because we stayed in Room 101 which is the Double Mansard Room which has stairs linking the bedroom to the bathroom, within the actual room. The stairs are steep and narrow and the head height is low, but we were made aware of this when we booked and it did not really effect us. The room itself is very prettily decorated in a venetian style and was very clean as was the bathroom, the air conditioning kept the room very cool which was good as it was about 30 degrees outside. The Locanda looks the same as the pictures given on the website and is very nicely decorated and has air conditioning throughout. The Locanda's classified as a first class guest house which is equivalent to a three star hotel but it's not far off four stars in my opinion. The experience is the same as staying in a nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they allowed us to leave our luggage after we'd checked out as our flight was in the afternoon, they also offered us help with our luggage. The breakfast was great. I'd definitely stay at Locanda Correr again and recommend it to others.

We stayed in Locanda Correr for two nights. It is a beautiful little hotel. We have stayed in many hotels in Italy and this was by far the nicest room we have seen. Hotels are all expensive in Venice but for this hotel it is worth it. It is beautifully decorated. The location is perfect..a two minute walk from St. Mark's square. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to this hotel. (There was building work just outside the hotel so wasn't as quiet as I'm sure it usually is).

It was the first Venice stay, the thing that I knew later, but I was just in the middle of the Biennale, and the whole hotel was crowded than usual times, and the price seemed to have jumped, but, fortunately, both the geographical convenience and the contents said at all, and an inn was found. An owner is very kind. Because it was the room which it was clean even if it cannot be said that it was too wide, and was comfortable, I was satisfied at all when I considered that the accommodations of the whole Venice were high. which is recommendation for a person expecting the atmosphere that is at home

If you are looking for a small, quiet, intimate spot, this is it! Very well run, small but clean rooms, pleasant employees. Breakfast is typical Italian - minimal, coffee and rolls. Very close to St Mark's, restaurants and shops just down the street. At first we thought it was overpriced, but so is everything else in Venice. A nice spot in the heart of a beautiful city.

Praticamente in San Marco. Vicina da raggiungere dal vaporetto. Silenziosissima. L'accoglienza è familiare e gentilissima, e contemporaneamente professionale e competente.

This hotel, and its owners, were wonderful. It's only a few minutes walk to St Mark's Square, the rooms were quirky (we had the split level one). The owners were really friendly and suggested places to go and the best places to get the vaparetto from etc. Considering Venice is such an expensive city, we thought the Locanda Correr was well priced. We had a great stay and will definitely be choosing it next time we're in Venice!

Very nice location in the historical center. We liked this third stay in Venice very much. One comment: The names of streets in the map on the hotel's homepage should be corrected. The way from St. Zaccharia vaporetto stop is through "Calle de la Rasse", not "Calle Rezze".

We had room 101 right behind reception - bathroom too near public areas and separated from bedroom by very narrow, low head room staircase. This really spoilt what was otherwise very good standard, and spacious for Venice and the price, accommodation.

A small haven in the heart of Venice. One and a half minutes from St Marks square. The rooms are excellently presented in true Venician style - fit for a Queen. Was pricey but then again everything in Venice seemed pricey. The place was wonderful. The owner was extremely helpful in helping us out. The room was very nicely decorated. The Locando Correr was pretty much as described previously by travelers. Of course, we were looking for real streets, not little alley ways. It was difficult to find because the map was a little off, but it was actually very direct from the boat stop once you knew where it was. The location was close to the boat stop and very convenient. There were really A LOT of stairs to climb, so would not recommend it to anyone handicap or elderly. The room was actually quite nice and very quiet. I would recommend to any other hardy couple.

We've been for a very short trip in Venice on the way to the south and wanted to be near to the points of interest. The hotel is only a few steps from St. Mark's Place. The hotel is not easy to find, the surroundings are not representative but if you're there you feel absolutely comfortable and it is worth the price. Our heavy luggage could be easily transported from vaporetto S.Zaccaria to the hotel, but the first or second floor without lift is a challenge. The 24h reception is perfect, and the porters helped to bring up and down the luggage. Breakfast is enough and of good quality, but freshness is not the big advantage of italian breakfast. Most of the recommendations we read on this web-site have been true and the expectations fulfilled.

My husabnd and I loved this hotel. The only draw back is that it is a 4 story walk up. Our room was at the very end of the hall on the 4th floor. This was fine for us, but elderly and those with health or mobility issues may want to request a room on the 1st floor (though you still have to climb at least one set of stairs). Truly, everything else about this hotel was great and we would stay there again. As a note, the bathroom was really huge. My experience in Europe, is that bathrooms can be a tad small, but this one was very spacious and nice.

We could not have hoped for a more beautiful hotel to stay in or one with a better location than this. It is ideally positioned for all the main sights & access from arrival from the airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful & booked a great restaurant for NYE, despite it having changed hands (and name) since last being recommended. We would definately visit this hotel again when coming back to Venice. We had a little trouble finding the hotel on first arrival in the dark. Down a small side street, it might be worth focusing directions more on the hotel next door with the big illuminated sign in the main street.

My wife and I finished our European trip with 2 very romantic nights in Venice at the beautiful Locada Correr B & B. We had stayed 4 nights in London, 3 Nights in Paris, One night on the Night train from Paris to venice. My goal was by using Priceline.com to stay in 4 star accomodations and spend around $100 per night. London & Paris ended up around costing around $125, but I was not impressed with the location offered by Priceline for the $100 property in Venice. That was when I discovered Venere.com. In my opinion our room at this Bed & Breafast was nicer than the 4 star Hotel rooms we had in london & Paris. Plus, we got treated to a great breakfast. Also, I didn't have to pay for the room, non-refundable, in advance, like you have to do on Priceline. For any future trips to Europe I will be using the Venere.com website. The location of Locada Correr was perfect. The directions given for the short walk from the Vaporetto stop made it easy to find. We were just a short walk away from St Mark's square. I felt so priveledged to be enjoying this great city from such a convenient vantage point! The description of the property on the website matched what we actually found. Roberto gave us very good directions to catch the airport boat near St Mark's Square to Marco Polo Airport so that we would not miss our flight. I would stay at this deightful place again!

Great little B&B, room small but suberbly clean. Staff helpful, owner Roberto a perfect host. Location, just 10 minutes from St. marks Square. Why spend more for a hotel?

This one was an unexpected surprise! It is very well located, it is beautifully decorated, clean, even luxurious. We were told by manager Roberto to get to a campo nearby, and he would come and get us there if we got lost. But no need. We dream of going back to Venice and stay at Locanda Correr again.

Centralissima, deliziosa, intima e tranquilla.

We found the accomodation at Locanda Correr very clean and comfortable. It was within easy reach of everything and a nice quiet backwater away from the bustle. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke good english. We would definately stay there again.

It was a surprisingly lovely little hotel given its location and exterior. It was however, very hard to find and not many locals knew about it. I would recommend it to friends.

Locanda Correr is beautifully furnished, air conditioned, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the location ideal. The street looks less than salubrious, but fear not, the hotel is excellent. The breakfast is croissant, real coffee and juice, and a selection of buiscuits and spreads, and is served in the foyer or in your room. I would definitely stay again. Thanks

This was our first visit to venice and the hotel made it even better! it was lovely, in a fantstic location. Less than 5 minutes to St.Marks and everywhere was easily accesible. Roberto was lovely and incredibly helpful, he recommended restaurants to us and helped us get to wherever we wanted to go! The room was very clean and nicely decorated and had everything we needed and the breakfast was lovely. We had a lovely, lovely time here and I would recommend it to anyone. Thankyou Roberto!

The Locanda Correr was a wonderful hotel. My friend and I truly enjoyed our experience there and would recommend the hotel to anyone. The rooms were so nice and the location of the hotel (very close to Piazza San Marco) was outstanding. Roberto, the proprietor, was extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel was exeptionally, clean, charming in decor and the service from the owner and his staff was second to none. They helped with directions, organising concerts and generally were on hand for anything we needed. The position of the hotel, being only 5 minutes walk from the water bus/taxi and St Marks Square was an added bonus. Definately will be returning.

We were very pleased with the Locanda Correr. The rooms were incredibly large and comfortable. We were expecting tiny rooms that looked half as nice as the pictures on the web. It turned out to look exactly like the web pictures. The owner, Roberto, was incredibly courteous and helpful in all aspects. The hotel location is very close to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge as well as excellent shopping and many restaurants. We would definately stay here again!

We could not have chosen a better place to stay! Locanda Correr is comparatively cheap and offers small but beautiful rooms and a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooms look exactly like on the photos on the webpage. Breakfast is simple, but Robertos Cappucino is excellent! We made up our minds already to come back to Locanda Correr for our next visit to Venice!

Our stay at Locanda Correr from Dec, 16 2003 till Dec, 19 2003 was really great. The room is as depicted on their website, clean and really nice furnished. Bathroom a room are not the biggest ones but large enough for our baggage etc. This Hotel is located next to Piazza San Marco, this means really down town! Service was competent and friendly. We got a city map and a lot of interesting information about visiting Venice. Altogether a nice, high standard Hotel with a friendly and familiar atmosphere (only 5 rooms). Price for a night in a double room was in this season 70€ for two (35€ each)!!! Really nice deal. So just go there!

2 small issues: Satelite TV dedicated to german speakers is a non-starter for an English speaker. Breakfast whilst better than adequate were lacking any variety day to day

The owner is very helpfull and friendly. It does help if you speak a little Italian as he did not understand much English. But for the rest, the stay was very good indeed, certainly considering the price. Oh, I almost forgot: the breakfast was great! Croissant with Macaron in it ... yummy.

This is a small but well run establishment in a very good location. It has a high standard of fitments and furnishings but no view from our room. Tea/coffee making facilities would have improved the rating even more. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
