Returned to the Kette after a 22-month gap from our last stay in Venice, also at the Kette, the hotel was as wonderful as ever. Excellent facilities, including free Wifi (code from reception) which was reliable and decent strength, allowing prompt downloading of emails. The buffet stylle breakfast was nice, with a wide selection of options, the only change was the absence of the nice 'marble' cake, which was probably for the good. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. The hotel was quiet despite its proximity to St Mark's Square, with only occasional boats going past the canal at the rear from 7 am and in the day, and, as with everywhere in Venice, there is some building work going on in the neighbourhood in working hours in the vicinity, but this was not intrusive. Totally delighted woth the Kette, and looking forward to returning.

The hotel is in an excellent, quiet, location and "does everything it says on the tin"! The only tiny drawback is that it is quite difficult to find initially, and the water taxis are reluctant to drop you off at the hotel. A more detailed street map on the website would help.

It was a very pleasent stay . The Hotel is 5 minutes walking from San Marcos, and is very quiet. The room was big enough and clean, the bathroom is reformed. The breakfast is ok and the staff is polite and willing to help. It´s what you really expect from a four stars hotel, I highly recommend it.

By carFrom the highway, follow the indications to Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, where you can park your car. From Piazzale Roma, take vaporetto line 1 or 82 and get off at the Vallaresso stop.
