Everything was excellent except one important thing : when you arrive at the vaporetto stop, you have to walk about 20 minutes to arrive at destination ! and it is not indicated inn the web page... For us, it was a bad surprise, because the weather was very rainy ! But a taxi took us to the hotel ... But the hotel is very nice, breakfeast is excellent and the room very big ! We come back another time.

No lift. Travelling with pushchair might be difficult. Otherwise, a lovely hotel in Lido. No beach to itself, but available with a short walk. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay here! Staff were great, helpful, friendly and efficient! As we were on our honeymoon and we booked the 'love escape package' which was great value for money and we enjoyed every aspect! The breakfast buffet was fantastic, there was everything you could ever want and plenty of it!

Very nice place to stay outside the crowded Venizia. Bus stop at 2 minutes walk, Vaporetto at 10 min Bus, sand Beach at 5 minutes walk. Very easy to reach, nice garden, breakfast really complete. (but for UK citizens maybe) TV in room was not operational.

Room souterrain, very very noisy. Villa is located directly at the main road of lido. The folder of the villa stella says: tranquility: This is nonsense. hands off if you prefer a quiet accomodation!

Stayed for 4 nights in early April. Just 4 bus stops from vaporetto stop/town centre which can be walked in about 10-15 minutes. Very warm welcome. Very relaxed and efficiently run pensione. I would have no hesitation in recommending this small hotel.

great location as Lido is only a short water ferry trip away, 10 minutes to the main land and the ferries come often. direct ferry from and to the airport, stop only minutes walk from the hotel, so did nopt have to carry bags a long way. free bicycle hire was great. bus from ferry, stops only 2 minutes walk from hotel. would definetely recommed this hotel to others, as its nice & quite staying on the island rather than in the middle of the busy main island. 10 out of 10

The hotel is in a nice quiet area which is where the A, B. and C local buses go by the hotel every 10 minutes or so. There is a Laundromat and a deli across the street. The bus rides are covered by the vaporetto passes. Their buffet breakfast which is excellent is included in the price.

The fact that I was on the top floor of a 3-level walk-up did not take away at all from the wonderful experience I had at Stella. Everyone should stay on the lido for their next Venice vacation. The weather was sweltering, so villa Stella- an air-conditioned, reasonably priced B&B near the beautiful adriatic beach, was a great choice. They even have bikes so you can ride around the island.

Villa Stella was truly the highlight of our entire European Trip! I dont have one complaint! The breakfast was fantastic, the location was beautiful, the rooms were charming, spacious and clean, the common areas were awesome and the staff was helpful, friendly and welcoming. The best day we had in ALL of the cities we visited, was when we used the bicycles that Villa Stella loaned to us for free, to ride around the whole Lido island and have gelato and relax. I was just as comfortable at Villa Stella as I am at home and I can not say that for the other places I stayed in Europe. I would highly recommend Villa Stella to my friends and family!

Absolutely charming and romantic. We traveled through Italy and to Paris and this was the best bed and breakfast we stayed in. Stella and Michela are very welcoming and gave us a map of the city and explained how to get everywhere. The breakfast was phenomenal! Homemade jams and toast, pastries, cappuccino, fresh juices, cereal, meat and cheese, and eggs (which I had been craving since leaving America). The room had a country chic feel with a murano glass chandelier. The Lido is so nice to stroll around and watch the sunset after being mobbed by the hordes of other tourists on Venice proper. The hotel is very easy to find. We are coming back for our anniversary!!

Tip: Buy the 24 hour or 48 hour boat/bus pass as soon as you get out of the main train terminal. You won't regret it since it's not expensive, and you'll use a lot of public transit to move back and forth between Venezia and Lido. Good: The hotel staff was very welcoming, and had no problem speaking to me in English. The location was perfect, a simple and quick boat ride from the main train terminal gets you to Lido, where you can hop on a bus for about 5 minutes and be right there. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic! The coffee was great (keep in mind I'm American and our coffee is horrible compared to that). They had a wide array of breakfast items and a really nice indoor/outdoor lounge to enjoy your meal in. Lido is great! I've never been to Venezia, so I didn't know what to expect and I was concerned that staying in Lido would be too far away...like I mentioned before, with the public transit pass it's super easy and quick to move between the islands. Lido itself had a totally different feel along with it's own type of shops and restaurants. If you're a first timer like me, don't be concerned about the physical location...it's just fine. Bad: The hotel sign was a bit hard to see behind all of the foliage. Since we used a taxi to get there, we didn't have too much trouble going back and forth, but I can see this one being a bit difficult to find if you are sticking to public transit only. I'm not certain if they had an elevator, so people in wheelchairs might want to double check that since there were some pretty steep steps to the room. Overall this was one of the best hotel/b&b I've ever stayed in. Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, or stay there again.
