Hotel is very far from San Marco but near Bus Station. You need take the bus to Water bus station about 20 mins then take water bus to city center about 20 mins more. It's really long way. But location is quiet. It's suitable for honeymoon and convalescence. First day when I arrived, no way from Venice S. Lucia to Lido then we have to go by Water Taxi and paid Euro 70, then takes bus to Hotel. Very hard and long way.

Wonderfully welcome and a truly Italian family atmosphere, it was easy to find and get to from Venice station to the pretty hotel, just what it said on the web page. I would recommend staying on the Lido Island for its views, walks, open space, beaches, value for money and pace. My daughters and I felt looked after from our arrival to departure. :)

When arrived, no warming system working correctly, first night we had to pick up blankets in under work rooms, as well as pillows next night additionnal electrical system to have proper night breakfast more than poor, cold room , nobody else in hotel, or maybe a few , and no service. For same price elsewhere in Europe we can have 10 times more service and quality. Really disappointed. I travelled 20 yearsq in my life, alone or with my wife and/or my children, I have never seen such low grade quality hotel, especially during Venezia carnival period

Staff were wonderfully warm, friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble. Great advice as to restaurants and travel. Several languages spoken. I would recommend this hotel to any traveller. Location away from the hustle & bustle of the main islands, great to come back to at the days end.

Good : Friendly reception, Quiet of room, Room size and bathromm (but only bathtub without curtain for our room) Not perfect : Quality of breakfast and not very clean service, A bit 'old house' atmosphere - sadly ambiancy, no animation arround the hotel if you are walking. But the problem is the location : Ferry-boat for coming on the lido island with the car (+- 60 € for go and back) and vaporetto for visiting Venezia (13€ each person for go and back, available only 1 day) Then, with that transport costs, an hotel in Venezia center is not much expensive for 2 or 3 days.
