The hotel is very conveniently located, with a water bus stop right outside the door, served by two major routes. Also a nice walk to San Marco and Rialto Bridge. A very good restaurant (also called Tre Archi) was on the opposite bank of the canal. It is a quiet, residential neighborhood. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Some new chair upholstery and refinishing the chairs would make a world of difference. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful when we checked out during an historic high water flooding. The bus was not running as it could not pass under the bridges, and water was almost knee deep. We were provided bags to make waders, and a porter carried our luggage to the bus stop where a water taxi was able to pick us up. We would stay here again

We love Venice - will definitely come again. We took the only available junior suite. Space was cramped and was difficult for 5 of us to move around. Luckily, we did not spend much time in the room. Otherwise the suite is clean and service was good. The staff was helpful and friendly.

although it's a bit far from the piazza san marco or ponte rialto, but respect to its price its quality is so well. Rooms are so nice like in the age of medieval venetian. all decoration effected us a lot! also breakfast was good enough, ok there was not cheese or salami etc, but for italy having brioche, marmelate cappucino miele is already good enough!instead of paying the same money without any breakfast in many hotels, hostels in venice hotel trearchi was really good. Also they made our check in 2 hours ago in order not to wait us outside, also at night when we turned back from outside because of the cold we were freezing, and the man on the reseption desk was so soo kind and made us tea! so great experience for me and my friends as well!!

Loved the location. room was 72 steps up on top floor and was attic room. Quite small, but still very nice and the stairs helped us walk off all the italian food! Breakfast was poor enough in my opinion but maybe just cultural differences. When we checked out we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay or anything, they did not even say goodbye. Check in was very polite though. Guess it depends on who is on duty. Its location was fab. Walking distance from Train Station. I would stay there again. Great reataurant called Casa Bonita across the way which was great fun. Giovanni is owner and is very friendly. Venice is fab!

Location is ok. The big problem is the Room is not clean, even I don't have very high requests on this aspect usually. They didn't change the bin, the garbage left by previous guest were still there... As 3 stars hotel, it is unbelievable...The sheet is not clean, the floor(under the bed) didn't sweep...I won't return

Location is near to Railway station. Rooms are smaller compared to other locations (other than Venice). No elevator in hotel, so if you have luggage do not opt for 2nd or 3rd floor. Good breakfast, courteous people at reception. Bit deserted at night.

This was a brilliant hotel and a real find. Booked at the last minute for a family of 5 in one room, it is an old palace on a large and interesting canal, within walking distance of the station and car parks and a water bus stop right outside. Inside the decor was beautiful, fabric wallpaper, old painted beams and pink and blue chandeliers. A beautiful garden and conservatory to eat the lavish breakfast in. The staff treated us like welcome guests - just could not have been better.

We got 2 Adults and 3 children in this double storey room (no.113). 2 beds and couch-turned-bed on the bottom floor, and a double bed on the level above. However, there were no hooks for the five towels we were supposed to use, and of course lots of water was all over the bathroom floor after a shower only because there was a 1 cm gap between the glass protection and the bath, as well as the fact that the shower did not spray properly. Otherwise everything was acceptable or even fine.

It was our first time to stay in the hotel and it was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel is an easy walk from the station, and easy to find if you have a map. Everybody who worked there was so friendly and helpful. The room was amazing; spacious, spotless and luxurious. Bathroom was immaculate and anything that had been used was replaced daily. The cleaning of the room took place whenever we were out, we weren't disturbed during the mornings which was great. Thanks again, we will return!!!

I would not stay here again. The location isn't very tourist friendly for the fact that if it floods you cannot get to your hotel and the staff do not warn you, or accomodate you in any way. We went out for dinner at 07:30pm and the streets were fine, and when we exited the restaurant, the water had risen and all the streets were flooded. We were unable to get back to the hotel until 2:00am when the water had receeded enough. We were left out in the cold and rain with no where to go since most the cafes close around 1:00 am. Some hotels apparently hand out disposable "hipwaders" or Boots so that you can at least get back to your accomodation, but not TRES ARCHI. They didn't even acknowledge the water; it may be common for them but not for their guests! When we checked in they also demanded that we pay in cash to receive the rate we reserved at (55 euro) or otherwise it would be 100 euro if we paid by credit card. I was not impressed by this.

My room is a 4 person family room. The bath room is the only one that had my appreciation as it was big enough and the basin is spotless clean and new. The bed room space was very squeezed and not adequate indeed for 4 adults to move around inside. The breakfast was too slim with little choices and no hot cook food was provided other than the croissant and cereal breads. The English tea is not strong enough and the hot water jug cooled down too quickly, so the drinks was not hot enough.

nice spot!! vaporetto stop at hotel s door!! good brakfast, good air conditioned, very nice modernised hotel. but, from railway station, the hotel is not very close; not at five minutes with bagagge. you walk 100 meters from hotel s door and you have fantastic view to venice lagoon!! the "sidewalks" shows nice bars and trattorias with neigbours enjoying time. if coming back to venise, i should go to the same hotel...and take 15 minutes to go from the station to it!! p.s: if in summer, go to venise lido with swimming wear and spend an afternoon in the beach

Great place for family with young children (2, 5 & 7). Excellent, large, clean, quad-room, a little noisey. We booked 2 rooms and they were not close together, but only mild inconvenience. The hotel is next to vapouretto stop but it is not frequent and you have to change at the train station. The area is really nice if you walk towards the station. Outdoor breakfast area lovely. Would recommend for families.

Quite and convenient location, 3-stops away from the train station via water_bus #52 (every 20 min), and you step right into the lobby. Breakfast was plenty and in a very pleasant room. Clean and spacious bathroom. Our quad room was by adding two beds into a double room -- quite crowed. Staffs are friendly.

booked quad for my family, it was actually a double with 2 twins rollaways added. The beds took up most of the room, we had to crawl over the beds to get around the room which made the stay uncomfortable. That aside the room was clean and very quiet. Breakfast was fine, rolls and cereal, coffee, juice, etc..I would stay again only if booking a double, it was too small for quad. I was able to find fairly easy after looking at map on venere.

I have chosen this hotel for a 2-days minitrip in Venice. Situation was wonderful, not so far away from the centre. Vaporetti just in front of the hotel, very easy to reach San Marco, Lido, Murano,... Very quiet room, we had the room on the garden. On Sunday we were wake up with the smell of the croissants. Breakfast was big enough (as i read that people complain about breakfast in Italy). Room very clean, we had a room with mezzanine. Very warm by this very cold weather outside. This hotel is better than small pensions in the center, more expensive and not so luxuous.

At the last minute, management changed our booking to the Hotel Canal which was owned by the same family. It was very well sited, immediately across the Grand Canal from the railway station. Our room fronted the canal and as to be expected, there was some noise from the canal traffic but this did not worry us. Rooms are not large but were very clean and adeqaute for our needs. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tre Archi. It was nice to stay in a safe residential area that was about a twelve minute walk from the train station and tourist area. My husband and I have three children. The hotel was o.k., the staff helped us with reservations from museums and bus schedules, the breakfast room ist nice because it ist bright and opened the doors and windows to the garden. The surrounding is nice, because there are not only tourists, 5 minute walk to a very nice street with cafes and osterias where you can meet italiens. Directliy at the vaporetto stop, that makes it a little loud, but if windows are closed, no problem.Therfor a perfect connection to sightseeing areas and lido.We would stay there again.

We stayed at Tre Archi with our two children. Our room had a separate sleeping space for the two kids -- it was great. The hotel is on a canal just off the Grand Canal and is about a 10 minute ride on the water bus from the train station(you can walk to the train station in about 10 minutes as well). The area was very quiet and felt almost residential - a welcome refuge from the crowds of summer. There is a great "locals" trattoria just across the canal and down a bit. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. In comparison to other european breakfasts, theirs was good.

Nice looking hotel. When we entered there seemed to be someone else in the room we were supposed to be in, so we were put elsewhere. Room was ok sized, although there was 3 of us staying. (double bed, plus single at the end.) Bathroom good. Locations, about 15 mins walk from main Santa Lucia train station. In a quite part of venice, but you don't have to work too far to find bars etc. Only problem was with the air conditioning which didn't work. Did mention this to reception, who kept telling us to leave it an hour and then said someone would look into it - but nobody did. As it was 30C + would have been nice to have this facility working during the night.

Besides one gentlemen (about 45 years old- he was neice) the staff was not friendly and polite - young peole seem to be quite arrogant - never smiled, never said hello or how are you!

Venice is extremely over-rated as a destination and prices. For the price of Tres Archi, the room should have been twice as big; although with all the amenities but so small you could reach out and touch the tv, desk, walls, etc with either your toes or your arms. Cannot rate the continenetal breakfast because we departed before breakfast was served. Although right on a canal nearest the airport, the price of the water taxi for a 20 minute ride was apx $120 USD, exhoribtant.

We enjoyed our stay at Tre Archi. The room was clean and well presented. Unfortunately we were given a room that was directly behind the reception area, and this meant that there was a lot of noise in our room. The hotel is a short walk from the main 'tourist' areas and is well located. Having not stayed at another Venice hotel, it's difficult to comment on 'value for money'. I believe that the hotel offers only 'average' value for money at the rates charged and would probably try to stay somewhere else if I returned to Venice in the future.

Clear directions & costs on how to get to hotel are on its web-site. Location on canal is good - quiet at night but enough bustle during the day to make it interesting. Easy to walk to all main tourist bits and vaporetti stop is at hotel entrance. Hotel room was clean, comfortable and had everything you'd need for a short stay. Breakfast was nothing special but service was friendly. Not much in the way of tourist info at hotel so take your guidebook. Would use this hotel again.

When I reserved the room, I requested a smoking room. We were not told that this is a non-smoking hotel until we arrived and it was too late to change hotels. There was no fan or air-conditioning in the room so we needed to keep the window open. Problem with this is the boat dock out front was noisy all night long. Also, leaving the window open could have allowed insects to enter the room (I saw a scorpion just outside the window and worried that it might come in).

Location was perfect for us with the Vaporetto stop immediately outside the main door. It may not be as convenient for someone not familiar with the main Vaporetto routes. Breakfast was basic but of good quality - nothing cooked but fresh orange juice, bread rolls, croissons and coffee. Breakfast room appeard to be a pre-fabricated construction in the small garden and it virtually filled it. It was clean and comfortable but not large enough for all guests to eat at the same time. Absence of a lift may be a problem for some people. It was surprising to be asked to pay the final bill in cash. We should be happy to stay there again but have booked La Forcola nearby for next year.

The hotel is very conveniently located for the Vaporetti, although I chose to walk everywhere, since I had the time. Besides, Venice is not really that big and there's lots of things to stop and see if you walk. The room was clean and had a nice canal view, although it was a little noisy if you left the window open, because the Vaporetti stop was right outside. The staff at reception were not particularly helpful or welcoming. I quickly learned it would be a waste of time asking them for advice on anything. However, the most annoying thing was when I checked out and they told me that the price quoted on Venere was a discounted price and only available if I paid by cash. There was no mention of this anywhere on my booking confirmation from the hotel, but they didn't seem to care so I had to pay more than I thought. I would have refused had I not had to leave my bags there for the whole day! I wouldn't stay there again and will not recommend this hotel.

This is a new, reasonably priced hotel within a walking distance from the train station. The 2 person room was very small, but had a great balcony overlooking the canal. Breakfast was included in the price. I would definitely stay there again.

It was easy to find this hotel. Breakfast was ok compared with other hotels in Italy. The price/quality rate was good in Venice. I would stay in this hotel if I visit Venice again.

Room and standard of cleanliness excellent.Air conditioning very welcome in the heat of the summer.Service was OK but breakfast was poor - fresh bread would have been nice and perhaps a wider selection of food;what was there tended to run out quickly and wasn't replenished immediately causing delays in people being served and difficulty finding a place to sit some mornings.Location was good , being in a quieter part of the city but still easy for walking to the centre and convenient fot the Tre Archi vaporetto.Plenty of bars and retaurants in the area and conveniently placed for rail and bus links.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tre Archi - good service, good facilities and a lovely room on the top floor with views across Venice. The photographs on the website don't do it justice, it's actually prettier! Try the restaurant with the 'Inside Garden' (turn left at the bridge by the Guglie vaporetti stop on your way into Venice from the Hotel and it's about 100 yards on your left).

Generally impressed with speed of hotels response to our booking enquiry, as was the case with other hotels we sent enquiries to in Venice. All aspects of the hotel were good, although a lounge of some sort was missing, as is often the case in hotels on the continent. Good location, you felt you were really in Venice although out of the main tourist areas. Also good little restaurant just opposite, to the right.

My room was somewhat small, but very nice and clean. Staff was very kind and helpful. A couple of comments about the building itself (which is very nice and well-kept): it has no lift and it is a non-smoking area.

We needed a fridge for our food, and our room had a fridge which didn't work. the staff were unable to repair or replace it!! Otherwise it was most enjoyable

I love Tre Archi Hotel - really handy for station and bus stn. Our room this time was small - but the rooms are varied and last time we had masses of space. The place is so easy to get to you dont waste any time orientating yourself. I will continue to go back to this lovely hotel

Excellent situation and value. Top floor room was spacious and warm, although you had to be fit to reach it and there was a slight problem with water on the first couple of days(which was put right).I hope to return - the best recommendation !

it´s a charming little hotel in a quiet place. We enjoyed it very much. We found only one little fault: Take care when you take a shower, the whole bathroom is wet and the floor (marble) pretty slippery

An excellent setting in a most interesting part of Venice and very handy for the vaporetti.

This hotel was nice, not some place I would want to stay for more than one night. The staff was excellant, they upgraded our room to a suite at no extra cost. The room was clean. It could use an update on furnishings.
