We stayed in room 402 which had a tiny little balcony with a STUNNING view of the Lagoona and up the Grand Canal. Thomas - our hotel concierge - was extremely helpful and arranged for us to have a tour of Murano and arranged for our water taxi to the airport. I would onlly say these few things: the air conditioner in the room didn't really work very well and it was warm and muggy in our room. The room also had a strange smell. The bathroom, while beautiful, was in disrepair. The shower had very little water pressure and was missing tiles and leaking. The hair dryer provided was not adequate. I would have gotten my hair dryer faster just by standing in the breeze. Very few towels for two people but extra towels were easy to find. The service was lovely and the people extremely helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and afterall, you're not in Venice to stay in your room.

Excellent not too big property in the middle of everything. The rates are high but good value for money considering the location. Extremely friendly staff. Better than average breakfast buffet. A tip for single traveller: ask for room #404 - terrific terrace!

The hotel was undergoing some refurbishment / building work whilst we were there but this didn't cause too much disruption.

Location, full marks, just round the corner from St Marks sq.on the St Marks bay. Rooms on the front have the view, but tend to be noisy, so windows closed overnight. The breakfast/dining room needs refurbishing, but service and breakfast were fine. Have stayed there before so there were no surprises.

Family with 3 children. We occupied 2 jnr superior suites with a canal view. The location of this hotel is excellent - right next to St. Mark's and vaporetta stops for all directions outside the door. The rooms are very nicely furnished and had good air conditioning. The welcome we received was excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional at all times. The breakfast is the best we had in a hotel in Italy. As guests of this hotel we were given free use of sunbeds and towels in one of the designated beach areas in Lido which was a definite bonus. When visiting Venice again we will certainly stay in this hotel.

I really loved the hotel. The room, the service and the location. It was very easy to get to because the Vaporetto stop was right there. The breakfast was fine but not really special that I skipped it the second day. The only thing that made me angry was the hotel setting us up for a trip to Murano and feeling that the people in Murano were forcing us to purchase an item...and very dismissive and rude when we did not. It was a hardsell, it was terrible. The hotel should recommend the option of public transportation.

I stayed at Savoia & Jolanda as a valentines suprise for my wife. I thought the price was a little high on booking but the write up of the hotel was very good. At the time of booking I did not realise that the weekend was in fact the festival and all hotel prices were high. The hotel was excellent from beginning to the end of our stay, every staff member was very professional in their attitudes and duties and I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family. The quietness of rooms was given an 8 as we had a room overlooking the lagoon and as it was festival time the parade started and finished along the front. This was not a problem.

The hotel is located about 50 yards north of San Marcos on the Grand Canal. Unfortunately, the room we got had a view of a white air shaft. What a disappointment!!! Our room was quiet for sure, kind of like the dungeon cells across from the Bridge of Sighs, after all we really had no exposure to Venice from the window. And that was what we came to Venice to experience.

We had a wonderful stay here in Venice. We were welcomed by Roberto who made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. Our children's room was automatically upgraded so they also had the beautiful view that we had booked. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous. The breakfast was the best that we had in Italy. We would definately stay here again on our next trip to Venice!

Excellant room and service. Everyone from the front desk to dining room were extremely nice and accomodating. The room was beautiful and the location could not have been better. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Venice and will definately book any future trips to Venice at this hotel.

Althogh with great view, the hotel was totall unworth it. The price it charges was way too high for a room with view in 1st floor. I would rather pay cheaper to give up the view. The room was wierd with sloped floor. However, the location was easy to find and easily reached by the water bus and just a few minutes walk to the St. Marco Piazza.

We have stayed at the hotel before, but returned, booking through yourselves. The service offered was very good, and the hotel was possibly better than before. The location is ideal, and the standard very high. We specified a canal view junior suite which is worth it. The general standard of the hotel is very good (especially for Venice). Breakfasts are fair, and, for a hotel, the dinner is quite good. Overall, very good, and we will go back (which is something we do not generally do) again. Thanks for a good break.

I was made to wait equal to or more than 30 minutes in checking-in.Because the preparation of the room hadn't been ready, I was said to to return 1 hour later and when returning and telling of a name, I was said to " that there were not your reservations ". The very unpleasant and high-handed staff. The room was clean and was wide but the sound was pestiferous. When the electricity disappeared suddenly when I took a bath, the staff didn't come.I never want to stay at this hotel.

Superb hotel. Had a waterfront Jr. Suite right on the lagoon, spacious room with king bed with full size sofa, plenty of shelf and hanging storage, large bathroom had shower and tub large enough for two, towel warmer, double vanity. Two small (standing room only) balconies overlooking the lagoon with full height, exterior, power horizontal blinds (venetian blinds??) that kept out all light and sound. Directly across from the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop. 3 minutes to San Marco. Overall a superb hotel for the money in a city where all lodging is at a premium. Would not have the slightest hesitation to stay here again or to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is located just in front of sea, very very good location, very good scenery. However, our room was faced to inside, we saw only building wall from the window. We expected to see outside good scenery. We were ery disappointed about it.
