Hotel Palace Bonvecchiati - Venice

Who were you travelling with? with my husband - it was our honeymoon Tell other travellers about the hotel highlights! of course So, i prefer a prosecco or wine in the wirlpool :)

We have spent 3 nights in the hotel. People at the reception have been nice and helpful but they could improve their pronouncation. We had two double rooms "de luxe". Rooms were good as expected. Style and furnishing attractive and not pushy. Something was wrong with the television in one room and it was repaired at once. Breakfast was really dissapointing and did not match with the level of the hotel. The Reception told us that they are going to change the caterer. All in all we liked it to be there but the price is very high.

The room that was ordered was not the room that we ended up in. Hotel was overbooked and they were not willing to do anything about their own mistake other then but a board between two twin matresses.

I stayed in venice as part of a 3 day business trip. The hotel was very good, spacious rooms and very comfortable. there is a gym and a jacuzzi and steam rooms on the top floor which is a lovely added extra, but you have to book to use these. the only criticism I have is that the breakfast room is quite small and cannot seat all the guests staying at the hotel. My advice would be to get there early.

We had a gorgeous room - overlooking the canel on 1st floor. BUT - it is a garbage collection point so from 6am in the morning continual dumping and collecting of garbage including bottles and barrels of beer by motor boats etc. The room had shutters on but it didn't reduce the noise. The hotle told us that we would get one night free - but they charged it to the credit card we used to make the reservation?!

The hotel was well positioned for our stay in Venise and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the breakfast was extremely disappointing.

Fairly expensive but very nice and modern. Our room overlooked a canal with lively boat traffic. Excellent location.

No funcionaba la sauna i nadie nos avisó. Nos molestó porqué precissamente escogimos éste hotel por la sauna.I seguro que era cierto que hacian obras porqué las oimos encima nuestro.A las 8 de la mañana!! No envieis mails.No responden. El hotel está muy bién situado.Muy recomendable.

All 4* hotels in Venice are murderously expensive and this one is certainly no exception. It is fairly charmless, but certainly has all mod cons. I asked for a better room, on being shown a small dark one, and got a much better one for the same price. It is about six minutes walk from St Mark's Square and easily the same to the nearest vaporetto stop, which makes public transport impossible if you have heavy luggage. The buffet breakfast was good and lavish, and all the receptionists were charming, and spoke excellent english.

this hotel is expensive but it is a gem. However they were hard to find on arrival the water taxi did not know how to get to their dock and let us off with a walk in a maze of streets with our luggage. There is only breakfast available & no other restaurant in the hotel which is a bit of a let down for a 4+ star hotel. The room was compact but ultra modern & had it all in a small area. The staff was very helpful.
