Hotel Locanda Vivaldi - Venice

First stay at Vivaldi. Excellent room and location, very helpful staff. Would recommend and will return.

Nice hotel very good location, staff very nice, rooms not so large, and bathromm quite small, shower only in standard rooms.

Windows could be double to protect better against outside noise

This was the 1st time my husband & I have been to Venice and also to this wonderful hotel. The staff went out of their way to help, we had a complementry drinks ot the roof top bar when we arrived. You can smoke in the rooms, and the breakfast was the BEST we had in any hotel in Europe. We would recomend this hotel to everyone. It's worth paying a bit more when you visit Venice. We recomend to take a water taxi not the water bus's, the water taxi's take you straight to the door.

The loaction was excellent for sightseeing, views, activities and dining. The employees were very helpful, friendly and very accomodating.

Lovely Hotel with a terrific location just 5 minutes walk from St Marks Square. Superior rooms are very comfortable and spacious with a wonderful view of the Lagoon. San Giorgio Maggiore island is right opposite. The waterbus stop right outside can get noisy with boat horns, but it's worth it for the view. Hotel has it's own jetty for water taxi, which is very useful. Staff very competent. Breakfast was very nice with a good range of items. We would certainly stay here again.

Cant fault the hotel in any way, it was all the reviews good points combined. I do think that guides to Venice should point out the high probablity (2-3 days a week)of very cold fog from Nov through to February. But the hotel was so warm it wasnt a problem, lots to do but no views!

This was our first time in Venice, so first time at the Hotel. Brilliant stay. We did our research before we went, as it was our First Anniversary and we wanted to stay somewhere really nice. Locanda Vivaldi was perfect and the location was brilliant, right near St Mark's Sq. but just far enough so it feels like you have space with the Lagoon right outside our window and the canal to the side. All the staff were excellent, thank you. They looked after everything and anything and booked us a table, at late notice; for the Venice Jazz Club. (Which was one of the highlights of the trip) Breakfast was good with big choice of cereals, pastries and more. Will stay there again when we next visit Venice, no question. There is a small bit of noise in the morning because the front of the hotel is on the promenade, but this wasn't a problem at all, just trying to make the review complete! I wouldn't have changed it at all though because it meant we had a great view, with space, so you didn't feel anyway claustrophobic, having to look at an alley like in some other hotels; as lots of others that we saw during walks around had a "view" across a 2 metre alley. Don't hesitate just book it!

We stayed Locanda Vivaldi in early March with family. The location was perfect to visit major sightseeing places. Junior suite room was big enough for 4 members with good view of Adrian sea.

Overall clean and nice property. Excellent and central position, one of the best in Venice. Staff helpful and courteous. We have been very happy with this choice and would come again in the future. Hotel stay did meet our expected standard.

Thae shower was very small but not uncommon in europe. The staff was a bit unwelcoming for the two days I was there but not to the point that they were rude. I just expected them to be a bit more friendly. Overall the hotel is in a great location and I would stay there again if I was ever in Venice.

Excellent hotel, wonderful location. We had a room with lagoon view and at times it gets noisy, but that's the price to pay for the view. Overall excellent service!

Great location, nice room, good view, excellent breakfast. We had been recommended to another Hotel that was right next door, but our room was only a third the cost of the neighboring Hotel. What a deal!

Very unique and clean hotel.Good location close to everything. The staff were nice and helpful. Rooms were a little small but that is Italy. Overall a very nice hotel but a little too overpriced for what you get.

We were recommended to the Vivaldi by friends and it was certainly worth the extra for a lagoon-side view. The hotel was particularly helpful in allowing us to leave our bags after checking out, as we had an evening flight. Charming reception and breakfast staff!

Locanda Vivaldi is rated as 4-stars. I have stayed in a lot of top 5-star hotels all over the world, and I can tell you that this was one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I've ever had the pleasure of staying.
