Hotel Falier - Venice
Salizada San Pantalon 130 - Venice
877-662-6988The staff is friendly, polite and professional and will always be at your disposal to give you assistance whenever you may request it. Quiet location, care for details and comfortable bedrooms allow guests to spend an unforgettable stay in a pleasant atmosphere.
Among the various facilities offered by the hotel there are day trips to the island of Murano, free tickets to the Municipal Casino, and reduced prices at Le Bistrot de Venise, a typical Venetian restaurant located in the historic centre just steps from Piazza San Marco
A great place to stay, walking distance to all sights. Great restaurants nearby. The room was small but that was okay.

We stayed there for 4 days/nights. We had a great stay. Good hotel, nice staff in a nice area. Our room was a bit small but this was not a problem for only 4 days. The dining room was a bit small too depending on what time you came down for breakfast. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Falier met all our expectations. Although the wife said that the bed was a bit hard and the shower a bit small. Venice is expensive and Falier was reasonable. Their directions got us to them, although their map is a bit difficult to read. I used a more detailed map of Venice. Also, if your suitcase is large, please note that you have to cross over one large bridge. There is a direct shot from the Falier to the San Toma water bus stop. Water bus is the easiest way to move about Venice. The bed was a bit hard. Finally, do not pay to take a Murano glass 'tour' to the 3 islands. All they do is take you and drop you off at a 'show room'. Prices are expensive. And, there are plenty of 'free' ways to get to the same show rooms. Otherwise, everything else was great. Venice is a unique experience. And, even though they are expensive, you have to take a gondola ride.

The Falier is an excellent choice when in Venice. It is only a short walk to the hotel from the Piazzale Roma transportation hub. Inside, it is well appointed and clean. Reception was helpful throughout our stay.We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with its made to order cappaccino. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would stay at the Falier again, without hesitation.

Stayed 27.03 - 01.04, 2010 (5 nights). Interesting rates incl. conti. breakfast (but higher rate applys on week-end days). Good location, walking distance from S.Luzia station and vaporetto pier to go to Rialto or San Marco, in quiet area. Negative point : rooms are very very small.

I would have preferred a room slightly bigger than just the size of the bed and some better view (was only to a very narrow street), however everything else was fine, clean, the personal was forthcoming, new towels left even when we took ours to the beach. Excellent for the price.

We stayed at Falier for three nights. It was nice, clean and with a very short distance to the railway station. The breakfast was better than expected, and for lunch or dinner we would recommend an excellent restaurant close by, the Ribot, on the same Salizzada San Pantalon. It has a garden inside, hospitable staff and really good food! We certainly will recommende the Falier to friends going to Venice.

Location very good.Convenient for eating places, shopping, sightseeing and Piazza Roma. Breakfast was adequate but very limited choice of cereals, croissants and yoghurts. Staff efficient rather than friendly! Would probably use it again.

Hotel Falier was just super, within a very short walking distance of the Di Roma bus station & vaporreta but in a Venetian rather than touristy location. This was our second visit to Venice-certainly not our last & the hotel would be our choice again.very friendly, helpful, efficient staff.

Good value for a hotel in Venice, in a fairly central location. Bit of a walk from the train station (up and over at least one bridge with stairs) so make sure you buy a tourist map on your arrival.

Aside from the check-in clerk who couldn't be bothered to look us in the eye or otherwise make a small effort at welcoming us, it was great. Perfectly nice hotel, just a bit cold in its interactions. Beautiful, but small, rooms. For the price, it's a fine bet.

Falier is a small hotel but really nice: rooms are clean and cute, with a very good relationship price/quality. The hotel's location is great: very close to the centre and to the train station at the same time.

A well situated hotel, being not too far from the Railway Station but out of the main tourist area. Good breakfast; very helpful manager. Recommend calling into any of the churches you pass whether famous or not: they are usually full of beautiful artworks & have a quietness & serenity that San Marco Basilica can never attain because the crowds spoil the experience. Attended a stunning performance of La Traviata in an old palazzo where the audience were part of the performance - unforgettable.

At a time when the US dollar was poor and I was on a limited budget, I was pleased with the Falier. Location across Grand Canal and Ferrovia was good, room was clean, breakfast adequate with nice cappucino. Since I was traveling alone the size of my room was fine but some couples might find it small.

It took us ages to get from the car park to the hotel. (our fault, the travel guide we were using was poor!). By the time we got there we were hot and bothered and climbing up two flights of stairs (no lift) didn't help. However, this was the only problem and our stay in Venice really took off after booking into the hotel. The Hotel Staff were really friendly and helpful. The Hotel is on the edge of everything and at worst only 20 minutes from anywhere. We walked everywhere and when we came back to the hotel the comfortable room allowed us to draw breathe and recover. The breakfast was good, not great, but on the whole we enjyed it. The roof terrace was great. It didn't have the best view in the world but it was nice and quiet and we were able to sit out and have a quiet drink before going out at night. On the way home, we made to the car park in 15 minutes, thanks to the Staff. Very nice Hotel and we would go back again.

The room was clean and well decorated, however somewhat compact (smaller than our stateroom on the Costa Serena!) The location is excellent and very quiet, 5 minutes walk from Piazzala Roma bus station, and a 10 minutes stroll to Toma boat station which is just 5 stops along to St Marks. There is a good little pizzarea next door if you have tired feet!

We were in Venice for 4 days. Our room was the only room on the top floor and it had it's own terrace which was very nice and made up for the fact that there was no elevator and it was a long climb to the room. The room was comfortable but quite small and the shower was the traditional in-the-corner-water-on-the-floor Italian shower. Breakfast was nothing too special but adequate. Staff were helpful and kind. Location was convenient to the train station; once we figured it out! Never arrive in Venice at night without a map.

The Falier is a small, charming and welcoming hotel in a quiet area of Venice which is extremely well placed for the Piazzale Roma. We loved its convenience and the fact that it wasn't ostensibly touristy. Prices were fair and the room was spotless. We shall definitely be returning!

A lovely hotel in a perfect area. Close to the P. Roma at one end, then also Rialto and Accademmia bridges. Great value, very clean, high quality at a very reasonable price. Simple but good breakfast. Very highly recommended. And friendly people.

The good news: the breakfast room was non-smoking. The tiny public rooms, however, were not, and the staff smoked. Bad news: the canal outside the door had been drained. The odor outside was overwhelming, and sometimes it permeated the interior. This could have been mentioned in the literature. Also, the last several days there was construction in the hallways, with no explanation of the reasons, and this made it impossible to rest during the day. the worst situation, however, occured the morning we left at 4:30 a.m. We had paid the bill the night before and the clerk actually left a note on the switchboard for the night clerk to see and give us a call if we did not appear. Luckily, our alarm clocks worked well, but--when we tried to exit quietly--we found the doors locked and the night guard asleep. What if there had been an emergency? As it was, it cost us about 5 or 10 minutes.
