Hotel Eden is a wonderful spot in the middle of old Venice. It's tucked in a tiny square, right off of a main walking thoroughfare, and easily accessible to the San Marcuola vaporetto stop. An affordable gem.

The location of the hotel has a lot of advantages: railway station, bus station and water bus stop are not so far from the hotel (in 10-15 minutes). Following he main street you can easily reach Venetio RialTo and San Marco Square. Supermarkets, cafes, internet points are available near to hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is pretty good with excellent coffee and croissants. I enjoyed staying there!

Minimal breakfast & simply terrible coffee - especially for Italy where great coffee abounds. Otherwise a reasonably good value.

The room was quite OK. The staff was very helpful. The location of the hotel is very convenient if you travell by train (only about 8 min. by foot from railway station) The breakfast is rather poor.

We had a very nice week in Venice and were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. We had no trouble finding the place since there were signs in the streets with the direction of the hotel. The people working at this hotel are very friendly and very helpful. It is realy 'cosy' and that is what we look for. There are some lovely restaurants just around the corner and the casino is just a few steps away.

The hotel is in a small courtyard off the main walking route to San Marco Square, which is conveniently only a 15 minute walk away. My room was pretty small but had on suite, air con and a tv. Staff were very helpful and polite and couldn't do enough for me. However they didn't have an iron which was inconvenient for me :( Would definitely stay here again if I go back to Venice.

Poco espacio en el comedor y un poco mal ventilado. No tiene elevador. Mal señalado, difícil de dar por primera vez.

The hotel was clean, staff helpful and breakfast adequate. The neighbor was noisy. The hotel was pretty expensive, but I think that was true of any place in Venice.

The Eden Hotel is in a nice location and a good value. There was some noise on Saturday night from the bars on the street but I always travel with earplugs. The breakfast was nice, filling for a day of sight seeing. Nice priced resturants and shopping nearby without all the chaos of other areas.

The location of this hotel is very good, short walk from train station and 30 min walk to St Marks, 20 to the Rialto. The room was small, needs renovation, hair dryer the worst, TV did not work. Our room was over the private courtyard, it was very noisy late at night. Breakfast was typical and well served. Not many good restaurants nearby, we found the food situation in Venice generally dismal. "Touristica Menu" is usually not a good buy, the price may look good, but it does not include "coperto" cover charge, sometimes for each person, or drinks which can double the price, the food mostly mediocre Having said all this, the staff at the hotel was helpful and pleasant.

Excellent location, but terrible accommodation! Small hotel, rooms are also very small and old furnished. Breakfast is only coffee, croissant, jam, cheese and biscuits. In fact this is two star hotel.

I slept very well in my clean and neat room that was decorated tastefully. I think the breakfast situation could be improved somewhat because I have experienced more food choices in every other Italian hotel of the same quality i.e. in the way of fruit - both canned and fresh as well as cold meats and/or cheeses. As a coeliac, this would have been appreciated, given that all cereals and bread and pastries are not an option for me. The only thing I could consume was yoghurt, juice and coffee.

We had a quick overnight stay at Eden and were pleased with the hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful. We lucked into a room with a canal view which was really nice considering the cost of a view at other hotels. The room decor was nothing great, but it was clean and the air conditioning worked. The breakfast was typical of Europe-cereal, cheeses, breads, juice and coffee. Also typical was the bad directions to the hotel -if you need to get there-Once you get off at the San Marcuola stop, there is only one way to go away from the canal, when you do have a choice of direction go left(DON't go to the right and over the first bridge), continue and go over a bridge and IMMEDIATLY look into the "alley" on your left-the hotel is right there. As for location I chose this hotel because we were flying out the next day-it is very close to the boats, train and the bus station. The neighborhood is also great with little places to snack and shop. I stayed near St. Marks previously and it is very crowded with tourists. I would recommend Eden to friends and I would stay there again. Venice is expensive and since we don't spend much time in the room, it is nice to find a hotel that is clean and affordable.

The area location is good, but a bit out of the way in a little alley - you may need help finding it the first time! The rooms are clean, but cramped and small - this is a place to drop your bags and sleep, spending all your time outside, in Venice. BIG breakfasts: good variety, eat all you want. The staff are friendly and very helpful, willing to take extra time to help and advise.

The Hotel Eden was a wonderful place to stay! Venice certainly has it's own charms but we were so fortunate to have found Hotel Eden. The staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel is close to wonderful restaurants and great shopping. It is a bit of a walk to St. Mark's square but there is so much to see that you don't even notice the bit of distance (I think it took us about 20-30 minutes at a leisurely pace). No question in our minds we will definitely stay here again!

I would recommend the Hotel Eden it is in a very quiet small square just off the main walkway. It is in an excellent position with regard to walking the tourist route around Venezia. The staff were absolutely superb! Brilliant. Venice is a bit run down and be careful of the prices in the tourist area!!

TINY room. This really didn't seem like a 3 star to me. The bathroom door didn't open all the way because it hit the sink and there was almost no room for luggage. Make sure you check the map before trying to find this place. Venice doesn't navigate like any other city. It is about 15 minutes from the train station, but it took 45 minutes to find it the first time. Only really good this was the Cappacino at breakfast was the best on our trip.

My wife and daughter stayed there. They refused to give my wife the whole breakfast. She had to beg for coffee and yogurt. The towels were not changed until my wife demanded it. The maid service was terrible. The bathroom was a more like a small linen closet. The staff was rude and acted like they did not care at all for her concerns. She will never go back to this hotel. I am not sure yet whether I will dispute the hotel VISA charge due to a complete misrepresentation of the facilities. You should know about this and hopefully keep other travelers away from this place. According to my wife, it was a total ripoff. Her only regret is that the worst category in your survey is only the word "poor". She wishes there was a category for "extremely poor".

We found the Hotel very nice, unfortunately our room was not en suite but we did have a private bathroom in the coridoor outside the room. The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. it was ideally situated for viewing Venice and surrounded by some good eating establishments. We would certainly stay there again.
