A very lovely hotel. Breakfast was amazing and the suite was great (heated floor in the bathrooms!). The staff (especially the concierge) were incredibly sweet and accommodating--very knowledgeable of surrounding area and directions attractions. One of the best experiences I had in Italy! Its a bit of a walk to San Marco but still very doable. Very near the waterbus stop-- which was nice carrying so much luggage. Loved, loved, loved this hotel.

We just finished a 4 night stay here and from the moment of our arrival, it was fantastic. Georgia at the front desk greeted us by name on our arrival and was a wealth of information. The hotel is perfectly situated, you can easily walk there from the S. Lucia train station, though taking large bags up and down the steps of the bridge over the Grand Canal needs to be factored in. You can aso hop a water taxi and 1 stop later you are there. I suffer from celiac (a gluten allergy) which one would think of as a curse in Italy, but Georgia at the front desk was able to recommend several places that can cater to my needs and of these the restaurant Alba Nova, just around the corner from thus hotel was incredible. Because of it's location many of the sights are a bit of a walk, but buying a day pass for the water taxi's makes it a real non issue. On the plus side is that same location is very peaceful at night. The rooms at the hotel are small, but very adequate. The free wifi in the dining area works great, but unless your room is right next to it, you wil have to go there to use the Internet. We plan to return Venice and Domina Home Ca'Zusto is the only place we will want to stay.

This hotel was well-situated, close to the train station and within walking distance of the Rialto and St. Mark's Square. The room was well-appointed and was available as of 10 a.m. on day of arrival. Breakfast was better than expected, with bacon and eggs and various rolls, croissants, cakes, cereals and yoghurts. Room service, however cost 10 Euros. All in all, this was a lovely hotel, the front desk personnel were very helpful and provided information regarding the locations of museums, churches and other cultural venues. I would definitely recommend Hotel Domina Ca' Zusto and plan to return.

The room was adapted for disabled people => the shower in the bathroom was at the floor's level => due to lack of protection after every shower all bathroom's floor was completely flooded. Besides that, all the rest was of very good quality. Maybe breakfast should be more diversified.

Warm, supportive staff helped make the visit wonderful. Definitely four star in every way. The people and the hotel were terrific. I want to return. Note, as with many Venice destinations, the location can be quite a challenge to find for those accustomed to traditional signage. Bring a map with labeled streets! Also, the neighborhood is quiet and residential, and a healthy walk from most tourist sites. This can be either a blessing or a disadvantage.

We had a great stay at the domina, received an upgrade from a deluxe room to a junior suite upon arrival because the deluxe room wasn't ready but the junior suite. Very friendly staff at the reception. The location of the hotel is great, ideal to explore venice! We recommend the Domina without any doubt!

It was really a pleasure to stay in this hotel and I would definitely return to the same hotel. The quietness (inside & outside), the kindness of the staff and the decoration are the must. Location was great, away from the crowds, only 15mn walking from Piazzale Roma, 15 mn walking to Rialto, Vaporetto stop 5 mn from the hotel. The jacuzzi in the room made the stay even more special. If there was a small "minus" it was only the breakfast: it's quite ok but in case one stays more than one night it get's a bit boring: only one sort of small bred, no toasts or toaster, no eggs, sausages or bacon, and no cheese(?). Otherwise I really recommended it!

The hotel is a beautiful combination of the old and the new and the rooms are funky, functional as wel as comfortable. It is rare to see Venetian style reinterpreted so successfully. We didn't see any rooms with a bathtub but otherwise the bathrooms are well equipped albeit small. If you are assigned a room on the first floor, however, only take it if you wake up early as it is next to the breakfast area... Minor negative: the only public space is the breakfast area, which is a deadly quiet lounge during the rest of the day. But who cares when you are in Venice and not likely to spend much time hanging out in the hotel anyway? There is no restaurant in the hotel, but an excellent one at less than 100m away (Antica Besseta). Several others less than 5' walk away (La Zucca, Il Refolo). Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and all in all, price-quality is very good. A stay I'd recommend in Venice.

Nice hotel, easy to find and close to vaporetto station; breakfast could offer a bit more but what they have is good; the room was really originally!

Great value! Fabulous hotel, accentuated by strong colors and interesting furnishings. Very close to the vaporetto station, located in an old neighborhood surrounded by actual Venetians' homes. We enjoyed the complimentary room service for breakfast, although it would have been nice if eggs or something besides bread were offered. This hotel was great, the staff were very friendly, and I highly recommend this property.
