Hotel Do Pozzi - Venice

We stayed one night and had a very small but beautifully decorated room, clever use of space and furnishing meant we had room for both our large suitcases which was a bonus. The location was fantastic- a 5 minute walk past some amazing shopping to St Marks square, however with the window open it was a bit noisy- although the hotel is off the street the noise travels but this didn't bother us too much. We would be happy to stay again for sure.

Great location very near Piazza San Marco and direct transportation to the airport (take the Allilaguna) We got a nice, clean and quiet room. Good and ample breakfast. Nice courtyard to relax at after walking around the whole day. Efficient, friendly and very helpful staff. Would stay here again if we were to go back to Venice.

We had a lovely corner room on the 3rd floor. With the shutters and windows closed, it was very quiet at night. Air conditioner kept the room quite cool. The location was even better than anticipated - easy access to the vaperetto and to all parts of San Marco area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not having internet service (not even a computer for guests) was a minus. Also, the tub/shower had a bit of a learning curve, but we figured out how to take a shower without totally flooding the bathroom. The breakfast was quite adequate - the coffee service and the courtyard setting were very good. All-in-all, we were delighted with Do Pozzi and would stay there again.

Location of the hotel is great as it's really close to St Mark's and great shopping just in front of the hotel (if you are into brands). The only bad thing is the directions to the hotel is really confusing if it's your first time in Venice. Had to ask around as the directions provided were unclear. Once you hit the right direction there are actually signs on the wall that points you to the hotel which is really helpful as the hotel is actually hidden from the main street.

The location of the hotel is very good, although it could be hard to find it for the first time. The rooms are very small and noisy (with the shutters and windows closed).

Nice hotel nearby San Marco. Sufficient room size. The room was not quiet, maybe a bigger problem in summer (we visited Venice end of October). Breakfast was good and covered all needs. Friendly staff. Vaporetto nearby, few minutes. Recommendable.

very nice little hotel,excellent location: quiet but central location, breakfast could be taken outside in the nice court with planted old stone-wells (= pozzi), very friendly employees, I had four very good days as tourist in Venice

Stayed last year with wife, this year alone. Welcoming, intimate small hotel, unpretentious but excellent, perfect location (only a few minutes walk from San Marco), yet very quiet if your room is on the courtyard side.
