The hotel is nice. Well located and very comfortable. The guy at reception, Giovanni, is very nice. Always happy and ready to assist you in everything.

We certainly enjoyed been in the center of town very convenient,you really need a good map in Venecia to be able to find this hotel as there are many small allies. Our advise: arrive at day time never when is dark.

This is an absolute gem of a place. The staff could not have been more helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Our room was gorgeous. The location was perfect for a short stay in Venice. This was one of our best experiences using Venere.

Aucunes mauvaises surprises par rapport aux descriptions données sur le site internet. Rien à reprocher sur la qualité de la chambre ou de l'hôtel en général. Le lit était d’une discrétion irréprochable ;) Les petits déjeunés étaient variés et de très bonne qualités. Nous avions réservé une chambre sans vu particulière, mais nous avons été mis dans une chambre avec vue sur le canal, sans frais supplémentaires, juste parce que nous avions demandé et qu'il y en avait une de libre! L’hôtel est très facile a trouvé si vous prenez le Vaporetto. Par contre, soyez prés à faire la queue si vous le prenez directement à Santa Lucia! Entre 25 et 45 minutes de marche seront nécessaires si vous marchez de la gare, tout dépend de la taille de vos valises. Soyez prévenus, vous allez croiser plus d’un pont et escalier ! This was the first time we stayed here, staff were incredibly friendly, English was excellent, room was completely newly renovated, beautiful. Wireless internet was so handy. We only stayed one night but were completely satisfied. Location was excellent close to St. Mark's Square

The facility of bathroom has been refurnished and was very clean, but amount of hot water supplied was not enough. Supply system shall be improved.The room floor was inclined.Breakfast shall be more solid.The old furniture shall be replaced with the one which is more suit to the room.Totally it did not seem to be a hotel.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé à proximité de San Marco et de la plupart des centre d'intérêt touristiques. Nous avons occupé un chambre avec balcon donnant sur le canal. L'ensemble est meublé avec beaucoup de soin et d'élégance. Le personnel est attentif. Un établissement à recommander.

How to reach Hotel dell'Opera
By carGuests can park in one of the numerous garages available at the bus/car terminal of Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, at the end of Ponte della Libertà.
From Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto, take a water taxi, that will bring you directly to the hotel in 40 minutes, or the steamboat line 1 or 82 heading for San Marco. Get off at Vallaresso stop. Cross Vallaresso street, turn left on Salizada San Moisè and cross the bridge to get to Calle Larga XXII Marzo. Turn right onto the second street Calle delle Veste and continue until you reach the bridge from where you will get to the entrance of the Hotel dell’Opera.
By train
From Santa Lucia train station, take a water taxi or the steamboat line 1 or 82 towards San Marco. Get off at the Vallaresso stop and follow the indications above.
By airplane
From Venice Marco Polo International Airport take the water taxi leaving from the airport's dock and going to the hotel, which lies in Fondamenta delle Veste in 40 minutes.
Alternatively, take the Alilaguna blue line or red line, that will bring you to San Marco Giardinetti stop in 1 hour and 10 minutes. From there, proceed on foot to the steamboat stop Vallaresso on the left bank and follow the indications above.
From the airport, guests can also take the ACTV bus line 5 to Venice Piazzale Roma and then follow the indications above.
